Sarah Jessica Parker. Anyone watch it. I thought it was really good, very interesting covering the gold rush and the witches of Salem, and she was a very good receptive subject. |

Although I enjoyed the research she got on my nerves a bit - seemed a bit false somehow |

I really enjoyed it. I did find her a little annoying but it was good to see someone so interested and enjoying it like we all do. |

If she said 'Crazy' once she said it twenty times - she really got on my nerves. The research was interesting BUT fancy letting someone handle an historic document without gloves and hold a pencil so close over it. |

Brenda, Can you just imagine doing that in our record offices? We'd be lynched by the staff! LOL |

I thought it was really interesting, however, it seemed to pass quicker than our normal episodes. (Are ours 1 hour instead of 45 mins?) It just seemed lacking in details for some reason, i thought they could have said more. |

SRS I think you'll find that the show would of been a hour in length when shown in the USA but would of contained advert breaks, so that was why we only saw 45 mins. |

It must be cultural. ;) When I saw it a few weeks ago over here, I fully expected that SJP would get badly up my nose, but I thought she was quite human! |

I thought the programme was excellent...SJP was not how I imagined her to be...so down to earth. I really thought she was overwhelmed with her ancestry. |

She didn't get on my nerves at all, I just thought she was very naturally excited, who wouldn't be finding they had such direct connections to the well documented goldrush and Salem witch trials. I thought it was good how she explained she'd rather her ancestor was an accused witch than an accuser. And what a find that she was one of the last group to be accused and therefore was not executed. Wouldn't we all have uttered a few 'wows' at that? |

I also expected her to get on my nerves. However I quite liked her alhough like all the celebrities they have to speak to the camera which seems false at times but I didn't think she was, just the situation. |

You did well there Carol, I think they did say that Robert came from England but didn't say where in England. |

It`s all well and good having famous people on WDYTUA, but you would have thought they had the money to pay someone to do the research for them. If you look at the years it takes us and looking at every £££ we spend, it would be nice to have an "ordinary" person researched for this programme. |
