people in this country are three sheets to the wind... I was just reading about the ' pitch in the living room'..harmless enough...and then going back to news homepage, clicked on Scotland by mistake and read this

Just a family expression Uzzi, I don't believe that God 'lets' this kind of thing happen as such, if there is a God we all get given free will (imo) to make of life what we will....

I am just so disgusted that the judge thought it had been done with no malice aforethought, or whatever the expression. But... the b***** didn't say what he had done until the poor little baby had almost died. And he did it for his own convenience.

Now, I really would like to do exactly the same to two people in this. The perpetrator. And the judge.

I am totally disgusted at what I just read. I can't believe first the idiot did what he did and secondly Lord Turnbull neither imprisoned or levied a hefty fine

The man must be mentally impaired but if he is wouldn't that have been in the report?

Quay I don't agree and can't agree but the courts have basically said he didn't know what might happen. Maybe he really didn't know the pain and danger if that is the case the guy has to live the rest of his life out as a monster.

Please don;t believe all you read. Yessss he was wrong but ....

TF I thought it a possible,

but if he did have mental issues, two obvious questions, why was he looking after a baby in the first place...and why was it not reported, I would have thought that if that were the case he would have been found 'not guilty by reason of mental incompetence'?
( or whatever the legal wording is)

Uzzi. I have a well known brand of reasonably thin baby wipes in the bathroom... trust me there is no way that one could be used like that with a 3 month old without it being 'obvious' even to the dimmest or most stressed person alive that it wasn't the thing to do. I don't want to be too graphic here...

Well, whether he knew exactly what the direst consequences would be... he must have had enough nous to know that doing that was wrong!! Even my 4 year old granddaughter would know that was wrong!!

No... stocks, hung drawn and quartering... and at the least recipricol (please forgive my spellings) treatment should have been meted out.


I know that is knee jerk and stuff. But that sickened me.
