Umm ... that was my tale of wonder and woe two years ago. ;)

No.1, an ex rock guitarist, lives on my chesterfield.

No.2, a current blues guitarist, lives in the southwestern US.

No.2 proposed to me on a politics board just a little over two years ago. I rebuffed him -- I'm no polyamorist, and I hate the blues. But he persisted, and he wooed me so well -- imagine someone who suggests a honeymoon at Bletchley Park! (after a wedding in the desert performed by an Elvis, hm) -- that I ran off to Montreal to ride roller coasters with him for a weekend.

Sadly, that was all it came to, and No.1 still lives on the chesterfield. Just as well, or when I decide to pour diet coke into my computer of a Sunday afternoon, I'd be *ed.

Hah. Adding anything to No.1 would be kind of like starting from zero, in terms of exhausting. Inert, that one. No.1 + "x" = "x".

No.2 proposed Bletchley Park and the desert and actually flew away to Montreal for me. No.1 won't go out to a movie, let alone to my mother's for her 80th birthday. (Oh well, you didn't *tell* me it was her *80th* birthday. And yet ... still didn't go ...)

Now Gul Dukat, that one would keep you on your toes. Although given my druthers, I'd still take Q, I think. There are actually people in the universe who don't like Q. Go figure.

Ah....so No. 1 is a "couch potato". My OH is the opposite. Always wanting to go somewhere - always planning a trip or holiday. Can be exhausting at times.
