ButtercupFields Report 7 Jun 2010 13:37

On a recent three day stay at my local hospital for something unrelated, they must have given me an MOT because now they have discovered....

I have two cysts on my ovaries (never bothered me in fact I didn't think I even HAD an ovary at my age...74 this month.)

I have two cataracts one on each eye which must be operated on....yes I know my eyesight isn't great but seeing life through a blurry lens is not so bad.

And they have decided that my two bunions must be operated on. Yes they are a nuisance but with my wide shoes, I can sort of cope.

To be honest, I just don't have the time for all these ops and I was perfectly ok before they captured me in hospital. If it aint broke don't fix it is my motto.

Plus I was told by a Siamese astrologer way back 40 years ago that I would expire in the year 2010...oops it's here! lol

*wraps BC up in cotton wool and bubble wrap to protect her from the nasties*

Strange, BC... I was told that I would have a serious illness which I would probably die from by the time I was 55... that's true that is... also told that I would bear two sons of my blood, one conceived in Wales but born in a foreign country, another conceived in a foreign country but born in Wales.

Also that I would have many sons and daughters not of my blood, and all but one born in foreign lands... she was wrong on that one, I have two of my 8 Godchildren who were conceived and born in UK... all the rest Germany and Cyprus.

Load of old bunkum!! ;¬)) Very very spooky.

I also had a palm reader refuse point blank to read my palm after taking one look at it, in 2005. He told me to go to my doctor, lol.........

Funnily enough, my palm prints have changed over the last 18 months..... I find it all a bit surreal... I don't want to believe a thing., and of course know that many things can be made to fit.... oh and the palm reader was part of the entertainment at a big function... he didn't know me from Adam, and I didn't have to cross his palm with silver or credit card, lol

Can you get second opinions???

Love

Daff xxxx

2nd opinion on your bunion and cysts.... not the Siamese fortune teller..... be a bit of a b**** to try and trace that one, lolol! xxxx

BC, get those cataracts done, you will be surprised at the lovely world out there when you can see it properly! I had mine done because they were central and I couldnt see to walk anywhere. My OH hadnt realised his sight had deteriated until he had his done!
If they are talking of any other ops, at age 74, they must be sure you are fit enough to benefit. Money and time is not wasted by surgeons they have too much to do .

ButtercupFields Report 7 Jun 2010 14:38

Thanks Jean, I shall probably have the cataracts done later this year as I have heard such good reports. Wonder if it will make folks look more beautiful to me?? lol BC XX

You're right you know Sue.... they have the right to be seen when she flutters her eyes at them.... they fall over like ninepins, don't they? lol

My docs were nearly all women...... well except for TDM.... and he is happily married with 2 children and a labrador puppy that was poopsing and weeing everywhere.... oh, and chewing.... it has grown out of the first two, but still has a thing about eating shoes, I believe

If they are as good looking as their Grandma then they do deserve to be seen properly by BC...

BC do get the cataracts done. Maybe also get a second opinion on the cysts and make up your own mind about the bunions. But would having them done mean you'd be able to wear lovely narrower shoes?

BC, I am with you on this one, STAY AWAY FROM DOCTORS.

If you are okay going in, you sure as 'bill-yo' will not be fine on the way out!
What do they want for us, to live forever??

Was this an MOT that you had?
All you need is ;
a good oiling, with your favourite tipple.
A little fertilizer... I swear by coffee and toast.
A good overhaul.... a bath is wonderful, but in the absence of a bath, a shower will do.
Clean PJ's or nightie, feet up and a good book... a film on TV is just as beneficial.

You may take this method daily in any order you like best.

Good luck, good health and enjoy
BC.

The only drawback is that at our ages (I'm 70 now)
the doctor chases us, phonecalls, letters...;-0(
