Actually I was angry yesterday but bit my tongue. A family member who moved miles away and now complains that no-one visits. She moved by choice not because of work etc.

Dunno.... I seem to be changing my rules, lol..... I am now letting some things that would have had me quite cross go over my head, while things that wouldn't have bothered me at all once get my goat good and proper - I am fairly placid most of the time, although gobby- but recently, I have been getting very cross indeed over a couple of things and only correcting the perpetrator seems to scratch that itch... ill mannered people... that really is getting my ire up... well, 'igher, lol

I used to bite my tongue a whole lot more than I do now. I hate confrontation, and used to go out of my way to avoid it, I still don't seek it out, but if it is in front of me I am finding it increasingly difficult to walk away/bite my tongue/turn the other cheek.

Not at all sure I like where I am at. But I am not being taken for a ride as much by those in my *real world* who used to take the widdle, so that feels very good.

Uzzi, my main anger is being counselled out of me (hopefully) at the moment.

I used to teach strategies for managing challenging behaviours... so know all the stuff I should be doing.... but I find it hard sometimes these days to put it into practice.

Like Rose and Kitty, I used to cry... very frustrating. Not in my professional life... I was very good at *talk down* ie defusing, but in my private life.

Oh well... maybe I will get the hang of it one day.

I found that having to keep my temper with difficult patients has calmed me down no end, but when I do let rip everyone run for the hills!! I dont lose my rag with OH because he is clumsy by nature and so I keep everything unbreakable where I can. Senile cat who keeps bawling at nothing is driving me round the bend at the moment, but again, he cant help it.
And why does every one round here where I live think I have the answer to their problems and not take responsibility for what goes on around them

The only Drugs I have ever used have been Prescribed, but I have had Morphine many times in emergencies
