Hello everyone,
Just thought I'd make an appearance. Feeling so down and you lot always cheer me up.
It has been a sunny day here and also my father's birthday. He would have been 92, the old bu**er. I'll bet he's causing a stir somewhere today. ;-)
Frank safe trip as Jane said and have an enjoyable weekend.
Sheila I know what you mean about missing your SIL, although he wasn't good for Michelle. I will miss Jacob as he was like another son and we got along so well. I did cry yesterday when he said goodbye. Made a right proper ninny of myself. Michelle needs to not look at his fb profile; it won't help and will make the grief far worse.
Hard to be sympathetic to my daughter when she screams at us. She won't accept any comfort and has such a temper. It frightens me at times. She is out tonight, but exactly where I don't know. They are very loose with the truth.
Jane happy to read that Janice is making some progress. I can imagine how tired she gets. You must be looking forward to her visit in May when the weather WILL BE good.
Fiona sorry that your MIL is in hospital again. It is very worrying when she doesn't contact someone for help when she gets ill. Safe travelling for you tomorrow to England and I hope she starts to come good quickly.
Off to watch the tv, not much on though. Have a good day everyone. 11.40 pm EST.

Hi I bet you wondered where I have been.
Went off early to Launceston as oh had an appointment there and he dropped me off at the garden center to browse at my own pace. It was lovely not to have to keep worrying that he was getting fed up waiting for me. I got some more of those greenplastic covered stakes that I like for the border and some seeds I needed. Also bought a cane support for some sweet peas. Some more tom plants and another sweet pepper, an orange one this time and a lovely little pad for aunty joy. It is really pretty and has a magnetic clip to close it with and scrap pictures on the front with three pink flat backed diamontes in the middle of three big full blown roses on the top bit. It is a little birthday pressy a bit late. I shall send it in the post so it is a surprise. Been dry here today but it rained this morning in Cornwall where we went. Had lunch so I don't have to cook a dinner tonight.
Have'nt read any posts yet!! so I hope you hav'nt been too busy posting as I have yesterdays to catch up on too.

Just post Sheilaand you will get ot the last page :-D
Glad you liked the card. It is one of my favorite fairy pics. Thought you would like it. Hope your oh is now paint free! :-S :-S
Fiona I do feel for you with MIL so far away. I hope she has improved a bit now she is on the drip. She could be dehydrated to which can make them very muddled. My mum also used to say the war ended in 1946 because thats when most of the boys came home.
Hope Frank dos'nt get caught in any flooding and has a safe journey.
Congratulations to Wills and Shimms wedded bliss at long last.
Be happy you two and pop in now and again please.. <3 <3 <3
Mandy we can still get mincemeat here in Morr*sons.

HI having a bit of trouble getting on my page was going everywhere . i have just read all the threads. It was nice to see a name I did not know and Ann love the picture of the blossoms.
I have had a day in just messing about today it is so cold and wet.
Ann yes that tigers eye is heavy it was lucky I did not chip a tooth or indeed loose one.
Hubbies paint was easily removed thank goodness it was emulsion but he knocked his hand the same one he blistered . Poor soul he did moan yesterday about everything.
I think it is hard to let go of Mohsen I keep finding phtoes everywhere and Shell looks so happy on them. I agree about the facebook page though Kim and the pictures. It seems like he picked every beautiful girl going.
I did the chocolate that Frank sent and I said I liked chocolate every day of the week being seven .Jess and I did all the Calculations and it was seven. Yummy I cannot eat it now such a shame could just fancy a big block of fruit and nut and a nice cold fizzy coke.
Dear Mandy I have enjoyed Jessie being here but shes put off with the weather and done some moaning. I think she was home sick and is not very keen on some of her neighbours. It seems one guy was very nasty to her when her car refused to go and she was stuck across the entrance to his house. He called her a limey idiot and being Jessica she said nothing but can you help me move from across your path a push would be helpful. The guy said yes if you think you could take the handbrake off or would that be asking a lot of your limey brain. Jessica said she got out the car and moved it herself. Ryan later went round and said whats your problem talk to my wife again like that and I will kick your ass easy to see where April gets her sayings from.
I can see that would not make good relations with ones neighbours but If he had spoken to me like that he would have never spoken to me again there no need for rudeness. I would have said hello and goodbye. Jessica also went for a job just doing a bit of housework for an elderly lady who lived in a big house and shes got 20 rooms five are bathrooms. It seems she shares the house with all her family who play golf. Jessica went once and the lady asked her to wash all the curtains she had taken them down from all her windows apart from the bathrooms that had blinds. Jessica said mum I would have been there a week they were heavy and all full of dust .Jess said she washed two pairs and ironed them it took her ages and when this lady came in she said do not forget to steam iron them .Jessica said she was dropping on her feet and this lady came in with a cup of coffee and Jess said is that for me. The lady said no but you can have one when you have done the curtains today and tomorrow you can put them back up. Anyway my daughter did not go back. I think now she works in the local shop for two hours and takes Mat the shopkeepers daughter looks after him shes got learning difficulties but loves children
Ryan is gone early and returns very late when he goes home and Jess gets a bit lonely. It is not the glamourous life one would expect. The Islands got some good wild life and Jessica did look well.

Km it is sad about Jacob glad I am not alone today I was sitting reading and a picture of Mos fell out the book i do not know how it got there . Is there not any chance they will get back together. I ve had a few screaming sessions from daughters and a few slaps before the days of none hitting children rules my two got a slap back I am afraid. All was calm and lovely after. mostly over boys. I remember eldest daughter brought a lad home who was so tattoed you could not see his skin.

Sheila, it sounds as though Jessica will be much happier working in the shop rather than for that awful lady. You must have been happy to see her looking well.
I have been reading through loads of info on Fitz's Mothers Forefathers.Goes way back to the early 1600's. One bit I read I thought was great. John C***** was a man of means with 8 chimneys.More chimneys than anyone in Truro .It mentions the Hearth Tax.I didn't know about the Hearth Tax. It then goes on to say that in 1654John C****** was appointed as Commissioner by OLIVER CROMWELL to remove scandalous Clergy and Schoolmasters from office.
The things that Fitz keeps turning out is always so blooming interesting. What a fascinating family background he has :-D :-D :-D

Hi Everybody.
Thanks for the photo's Pat, your daughter makes a lovely bride, and what a great bunch of grandkids you have.
MEL, BIL phoned tonight and said MIL is a liitle better due to the drips, better that than her being sick again and bringing up all her medication. Her kidney scan was fine, so that is good news too, she is still very upset though at having to be in hospital, who wouldn't no one likes being there, we think she's in there because of this urine infection, so we may find out more tomorrow when we go to visit.
I'm going to say goodnight now, probably won't get time tomorrow to say hello, so will catch up on Sunday after church, we will be meeting the new minister on Sunday and hopefully she will be voted in by the congregation to become OUR new minister who will start preaching in our church from June onwards.
night night xxxxxxxxxxxxx
