Yes Shirl, I found everything I lost but not my MARBLES :-D :-D

It's marvellous how water gets in to the house, With the wind behind it. We have had leaks round the front door. So now make sure the dead lock is on so there is no gap around the door frame. Plus it's good for security, I always keep the front door locked.

Ros has had enquiries about making Jewellery for two people, one for a wedding, to go with the womens outfit, the other just for something different.
She's beed buying off the Jewellery channel, where she finds things a lot cheaper than buying from Hobbycraf# Plus the fact she gets proper jewels, rather than glass.

It seems a few oldies have died in the village, three last week. two beed burried today. Also a woman Ros knows, Her daughters hushband had a STROKE while riding his motor bike along one of the major roads. (A 45) Jane will know it.

Must start and do a bit more on my Tree, but at the moment I am looking at cottages/coach trips to Yorkshire/Lake district. No idea when we will go, with all these other HOLIDAYS we have coming up.

You are into Holidays in cottages aren't you Jane ??? Any ideas.

By this time tomorrow we will be on page 1000, Can't think when I joined, but have enjoyed it since, so much chat and fun. We all seem to get along so well.!!!!

Why did I paint my nails and then decide to scrub all the doors on my kitchen cupboards??????I'll have to do my nails again this evening :-|.I know Chris will say Why do you want to paint your nails ,you are only going to see your Sister.

Mel I had a look at the Spring watch site and cannot see how to send a pic of the Squirrel.It all looks a bit complicated for me :-S :-S.I just spotted her on the Trellis at the bottom of the garden.This is just the same time of days she comes out for food.

Maureen ,my walking boots leaked this morning too :-S.I only bought them when we went to Northumberland in September.Maybe if I rub a bit of Dubbin around the seam it may seal it.
Oh dear William I hope you don't get anymore rain coming through.Trouble i the strong wind manages to force it through the tiniest of places.
I am pretty sure our leak under the kitchen sink is from the Dishwasher pipe.
It is not major,but will definitely need seeing to.

Ah ! now I am confused.The Squirrel that is on the coconut now has ears!!!!

Frank if you know what county you fancy going to,just google(eg.Suffolk holiday cottages) and a lot of different sites will come up.You can then choose an area in the county and view cottages available.We have always been really pleased with the ones we have had.Just make sure you aren't out in the sticks somewhere lol with no shop ,pub etc.We made that mistake in Suffolk even though the cottage was lovely.

It's marked the wallpaper a bit Mandy, but it's not too noticeable with the type of pattern it is. The only thing is that when I taped the plastic bag to the skirting, I accidently put it on the wallpaper. When I pulled the tape off, it took the wallpaper surface off with it too! Not to worry, I guess being under the rad it won't be too obvious. It must just have been freak weather as we've had some heavy squalls again today but the problem hasn't returned. I think tomorrow is supposed to be a nother bad one.

Hi well what terrible weather flooded here today iti was my husbands birthday we went out for a meal and he had a sizzling steak only thing is he does not ear too well and did not know that the waitress said the iron plate it came on was very hot and got a rather nasty blister on his thumb.

Thank you Maureen for the card you sent me handed painted I think and very well done I loved that card and will put it in a small frame and hang it in the computor room.

Yesterday I got up and came and found lots of cards and enjoyed opening then over breakfast cooked by elder daughter who gave me a foot therapy you know you plug it in and it massages your tooties.

I went out to lunch when my son came and the waiter gave me a waffel covered in icecream and rasberry sauce with a pink and white candle in it and a red balloon.

We went ten pin bowling and I had a size eight ball and managed to send it down the side twice but later did do well got a strike .My leg was tightly strapped up ,

Jessica arrived home and she gave me some very nice bed linen and a lovely vase she was very tired had a job to keep awake today.Fuming over
the letters sent to me buy her in laws she was going to Wales but the weather is so horrible floods everywhere.

Ive had to change my web site and everything due to Mats mother going on about we stole her grandchildren and the rest.


Well Mel hope all those people who had a birthday on the 24th enjoyed it.
I am off fairies I was given a stone one cute little fairy put it in the garden
and the hand had broken off today. Fairy godmothers indeed it had a verse about one on the bottom now I have a handless fairy. Well I have crafted and painted so many fairys just lately so not to worry. i dont get much fairy luck.
April sent me a doll she made at school one of these very American
dolls they craft it was very long knitted and had striped legs in black and pink cute little shoes in red with a black button on and a sweet little pink smock type dress a very rosie cheeked face and big button eyes and was called Susie Q .I did laugh because in a little box she had made two pairs of little knicker bockers in bright red . I loved it .she Susie Q is now sat on my bed, Shermans mom helped her make it her name is Della and she comes from Hollywood not America the Hollywood near us in Birmingham. The lady married Irmee and moved out with him he was in the RAF stationed in England. Jessica said shes taken to April.

Well thank you for your lovely cards again like I said I get cards shoved through the door mostly small because our letter is box is tiny the postman often rings our bell and gives me the mail.

I had lots of very pretty flower cards and shall keep them. It was nice of you to send it me not acknowledging your birthday and not having my address. Your on my list for next time if your still on here and me .I love little Mocca he is such a pretty colour.

Well after two days of celebrating it is back to normal tomorrow.
Jane my friend is getting very bad slowly and that leg of hers is a great worry. Annie is going to see a specialist in London tomorrow with her couson Melinda she works on the London Eye doing something.

I have sent a couple of pics to everyone.

Got the results of the thyroid scans - both fine and son's nodule has completely disappeared which is a relief. Was definitely the iodine the doc had put him on. Still waiting for his blood tests to come back.

The girl has broken up with Jacob, so we can expect some dramas here. Heartily sick of it all, over 4 years of it now. I wish she would grow up. Not sure if there was some cheating on his part or inappropriate chats with other girls. I will miss him as he was like another member of the family. :-(

Sounds blinking cold in Canada Shirl. Hope the hail hasn't caused any damage.

We booked a holiday cottage in yorkshire about month a go.Need to pay the balance of soon ..We can take Mocha with us to this one.
Never been here before it is by the yorkshire Dales..Ingleton North Yorkshire We just googled dog friendly cottage yorkshire and chose this one..Not every one takes their pets...
It is still raining here.I am full of a cold cant be bothered to get dressed yet..not working today but need to bring the bins in..... sometimes they dont leave them outside your own house..

Didn't get a chance to get on here yesterday, had a rotten night sleep on Tuesday so was tired wed morning, but made the effort and went and met up with friends for coffee,

then got a call from daughter no1 she was feeling rotten , no sleep and stomach pains and the usual pregnancy sickness so was not going to work , so OH who is working at home said we would go up and collect Sofia and bring her down to ours for the afternoon so daughter could go back to bed and get some sleep, so I spent the afternoon playing with Sofia and in and out the garden (inbetween showers) till we took Sofia home for bed,

Dull but dry here at the moment,

MIL not so well this week she has a urinary infection and the antibiotics are making her feel very sick (they do that to me too) so her doctor is calling round to see her this afternoon as she cannot drive yet, and is still having trouble getting around on her own.

At the moment bright sunshine, but very cloudy. Rain in the night. Gardens and lawn very wet. So no mowing today.

I've looked at so many cottages around Whitby and the moors, I just can't make up my mind. I will be taking Conrad and Jan, as Ros can't drive that far. So will ask them over the weekend where they would like to go and when. The cottage will have to have Wifi so they can carry on with their business. Also looking at Cornwall and Dorset. What a silly old DITHERER I am. Will end up somewhere no doubt.
