Morning All and Evening Kim,
Yes thanks my shoulder was a lot better yesterday but I rested it and did'nt do any gardening at all. In fact I did'nt do anything yesterday!!!!!!!! except help someone with their tree, Mandy was there too.
I had forgotten about Giant Haystacks Ann. There must have been many others that don't come to mind at the moment.
David I mentioned Mick McManus on the previous page.
Michelle nice to see you posting on here again. You are welcome to stay with us and our silly talk when we can't think of anything to remember. You have sparked us off again mentioning the wrestling.
Yes I watched TOTP's and Duke Box Dury with Janet and David Jacobs. I'll give it foive!
I never heard my dad swear when I was young. I got a splinter in my foot once down the caravan and mum held me down while dad tried to get it out and it hurt so much that I said I want to swear so dad let me. The splinter had gone straight in the ball of my foot. Gosh it did hurt as I lay there saying Bl**dy rotton wood surround.
It is a typicle Bank Holiday Monday here and it's pouring with rain.

Morning all,
Wet and windy here today ,so not venturing out in that !!
Hubby's doing some stripping in the conservatory ;-) Just the border that we had round under the coving he carn't do much more after that until the ceiling dries out ,then he'll emulsion it.
Are the Hedgehogs about early Mel?, i suppose the milder weather is waking them up now.
Pat, do you have to keep the babies apart from the other fish in case they eat them , i remember my SIL had some baby fish in her tank she looked one morning and they had all gone !! been eaten by the other fish in the tank :-S :-S
Mel, i remember the tag teams on the wrestling , dad got really excited when they came on :-D some times all four would be in the ring together .
Michelle, it would be nice to know a little about yourself , i'am in Norfolk married with one son and at the moment three grand children with another due at the end of June .
Hope Frank is ok and has recovered from his upset tummy .
Right will try to post now ,keep getting the error page again !!! :-S

Morning all, and welcome to the new girls. More beauties for my collection :-D :-D :-D :-D
Haven't read all the posts, but you have been busy.
We had a nice day yesterday, We didn't go to Rutland Jane, we went to Toddington. Harvey had cooked Turkey and Ham, Roast and new potatoes,Broc. Carrots, Cauli, peas. Cranbury sauce, and two sweets. Creme broulie and Apple pie.
Sat and watched football with Lewis in 3 D HD in the afternoon, Not to keen on the 3D. You have to wear these glass's.
We got home in time to watch Titanic. I can't make head nor tail out of the story line, be glad when it finishes next week.
Ros is Just of to the Cinema with Lewis, so a few hours on my own.
I have had contact from one of my nieces friends from New Zealand, wanting my e-mail address so she can keep in touch. So another contact, for family memories.
The chap who introduced wrestling was KENT Walters wasn't it ??? Canadian I think.
Mike McManus came from Rushden, and his wife ran a small shop selling baby cloths, it was there I went a couple of times a week in my lunch hour and bought tiny things for my Daughter. I meet him a few times. !!!!
Wet miserable day today here. Ros took our neighbours to the bus station yesterday morning for them to go on a holiday to Weymouth. Not a good start. Hope it perks up for Thursday.

Morning all Well I think I overindulged yesterday :-S :-S :-S.Ended up spending a lot of time visiting the you know what 'Franks White friend' (well not his exactly lol) But my egg is still on the unit :-D :-D.I think it may have been a very rich desert plus a couple of the little baby eggs.I do have a bit of a funny tummy sometimes :-S I was awake until after 3!!!!! and now feel pooped .I did the dog walk earlier and it is still jut light rain here.I think it is supposed to get worse later.
Michelle I am in Northants not too far from Frank.
Pat I hope Jacks tests go fine this week <3
Mel I used to love the Tag Teams. The one waiting at the ropes would always be bouncing up and down on them and causing a drama lol
Was Jackie Palo the one with a Pony Tail?I think he was.
As for swearing at home when I was young .I just occasionally heard Dad come out with a B word.Ususally when he bashed his head on something (which he did often ).He always seemed to have a bump, cut or bruise on the top of his nose/forehead. I don't think Mum swore until she had dementia and then at the odd time you might have heard the F word :-0 :-0.Good job she didn't really know what she was saying. I can swear like a trooper(but just in the comfort of my own home :-D :-D )
Mel I just see an email come through from you so must have a look at the Hedgehog :-)

Mel..I had trouble posting this morning as well.
The baby fish seem to be doing ok at the moment. They can give birth to 30 or more in one go..so some do get eaten..We have 3 teenager guppies about 4 toddlers and about 6 babies..We only have one female of this speces sp and she gave birth to these....We were sold another female !!! but it turned out to be male.we know 2 of the teeenager ones are male. They can keep giving birth every month lol..We also have 2 female platies who have both given birth.... So I hope we dont have 2 many female ones amongst these..We think this female may have been pregnant when we got her ..They can store sperm for months hence all the babies being born..Im getting quite an expect lol.
I have taken Mocha for a walk round the block..He came back very muddy..Then done his business in the garden..He doesnt like the rain lol.Hubby had to put force him out first this morning at 6..lol
Washing dry now so must attempt to iron it..

Afternoon All
Spent the morning tidying study dusting & hoovering, Then helped OH with putting down the flooring in the pantry which is just in between the kitchen & porch, and OH emptied shelves of all the rubbish and we cleaned everywhere, bins are full again. This empting bins once a fortnight is hard work. we are going to give the pantry a coat of white paint later on.
Weather here is very wet with breaks of sunshine now and again, OH left for Edinburgh airport AGAIN!!! (last time for a wee while) flying to Barcelona and will be back on Wednesday night.
I am catching up on some washing and time to put the kettle on.
Thanks Mel, for hedgehog pic , flowers are lovely.

Afternoon All,
The Hedgehog is lovely Mel..........and just where you want him to be.....next to your Delphiniums where those pesky slugs get!!! :-D Our 'Hedgehog lady' at class said a lot of them had woken up too early this year with the milder weather and needed feeding as there weren't enough slugs and snails yet. That was a few weeks ago though and I should think they are more plentiful now with this spell of wet weather. I must say we haven't seen any 'calling cards' yet.
I had a right game getting on here too! It asked me for my password which I had changed a few weeks ago and couldn't remember. As soon as I asked for a password reminder it let me straight in before I even received the reminder......bit worrying??? :-S
Pat, each time you talk about your fishes I want to keep some again.........a tank full of Cardinals this time would be nice!!!! :-D :-D The white mouths sound like they may have a fungal infection to me, but I must be 'out of date' after all this time. I hope your grandsons tests are ok.
Jane, I hope you are feeling better now.....no fun having to keep looking at the bathroom walls!! I'm amazed you have been able to resist that egg!!
Weather's a bit windy with showers here at the moment, doesn't look good for the next 5 days either, so no excuses for not doing some 'indoor' jobs. OH is at the usual Bank Holiday footie and taking his friend who has to use a zimmer now. FIL will no doubt be 'helping' him and probably getting in the way!

I had a clear out of my tin cupboard this morning , had tins in there with 2009 on !!! Didn't let hubby see me throw them out !! he go on and on about buying things and not using them up before the date runs out !!

Right palaver getting on here today :-S. :-S I'm fine again today thanks .It all kind of came out of the blue .But that egg is still waiting to be eaten. I hope your OH has a good journey to Barcelona Fiona .Shame he has to go on his Birthday. It is my sisters Birthday today too.I doubt if she will be doing a Highland fling or anything energetic :-S.I must give her a ring. Her in laws have been down from Leeds .They go back on Wednesday. This time they have stayed in a Hotel much to Janice's relief. Her MIL is not the easiest of people :-| :-|
It is so dismal I decided to light the fire. It's roaring away and is cheering the place up a bit.
Oh well back to looking up stuff. Is is a bit addictive isn't it :-D :-D

Oh what a time we are having here. Ros bought Lewis a word puzzle book, and he is so busy, asking the questions, my head is buzzing. Whats this whats that word mean.???? It's driving me mad. I have been trying to read the paper, but have to keep starting over with all the interuptions. Given it up as a bad job.!!!!!
Dank, horrible day here, and the forcast is no better. I had packed some shorts for my seaside trip, They can come out and a WET SUIT can go in it's place :-D :-D :-D It looks like long sleeved jumpers and slacks, and heavy coats, if we want to go for a walk. We will pack umbrellas also.
I'm lumbered into taking him to the pub tonight. POOR OLD ME. His Chelsea is playing, so I have no options ;-) ;-) ;-) ;-) Ros will be happy to stay at home with her soaps.
My eyesight must be getting worse I can hardly see your hedgehog Mel, If I find hedgehog's walking in the gutter, I pick them up and bring them home for the back garden. We often find there little calling cards on the steps, down to the lawn. It must be the fright all FALLING down the steps, that makes them Sh## themselves.
My Dads favouite words were Blood# and bugge# but if when doing something that didn't go right ,then the air would turn blue !!!! I tend to loose it more with bad language, since my stroke, FRUSTRATION and I'm sticking to it.
Mandy, When and it's not very often we have a sort through a cupboard, we always find something that way out of date. often things like pasta, packets of dried peas etc. I am every lasting throwing things out of the Fridge. Ros thinks she is giving me a treat and buys somethings, puts them in the fridge, but does not tell me,Then I find them OOD throw them away and tell her off. !!! for wasting money.
Trust your Tummy is better now Jane.
Fiona, By the sound of it you OH could do with his own private JET, back and forward to Spain. :-) :-) :-)
I posted earlier, and see it didn't get through, ERROR NOTICE. What the B hell are they upto now. ????

Is this what you do then Mandy??
The Turkey Trot (dance!)
The basic step consisted of four hopping steps sideways with the feet well apart, first on one leg, then the other with a characteristic rise on the ball of the foot, followed by a drop upon the heel. The dance was embellished with scissor-like flicks of the feet and fast trotting actions with abrupt stops.
Sounds tricky to me! lol.
I try and clear cupboards when OH is out now........so much hassle when he picks stuff back out of the bag and makes those sorts of comments too Mandy. I think I'll have a bit of mischief next time he wants to eat out and announce (tongue in cheek!!) that surely there must be something near it's sell by date in the cupboard for him to eat instead!! :-D :-D LOL. It will be different then I'm sure!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY to JANICE!! No guesses as to what she'd really like for her birthday, poor thing. It is good her MIL isn't staying with them, it must be hard enough just doing what is necessary at home.

Oh Frank, being with Lewis and his book sounds like being with my OH with all the interruptions!! Does your head in and you can't settle to anything yourself! lol.
You and a WET SUIT!! I think not after the SELLOTAPE at Xmas! You would never get it on and the air would be even BLUER!! Don't you have to put talc all over to help get into them? I think the forecast showed some sunny spells too, so hopefully it may turn out better than they say.
Fiona, I would hate a fortnightly rubbish collection, even though our bin is only half full after a week. Some extra space is needed for when you have a clear out like you are doing.

PHOTOS PLEASE Frank in that WET SUIT ;-) ;-).Don't forget your flippers. What a shame the weather is looking awful for your visit to Hastings :-S I'm sure just getting away for a few days though will still be good.Change of scenery and all that.
Yes Ann , know what Janice would wish for today.A darned knee that works.I just can't imagine what she is going through really.I do know she puts on a brave face outwardly ,but also know she does have a lot of tears :-( :-( She really should be up and running now.
James has just changed his car insurance. He can now drive other peoples cars with their permission. Now that is great for him.I'm wondering if I will see my car at all lol I don't mind him using it at all ,as long as he doesn't expect me to pay for his petrol. At least it will now save me ringing our insurance broker each time we need him put on .
It took me some time to spot your little Hedgehog Mel lol.I never see any here :-S
I really need to get my eyes checked. My reading glasses are driving me nuts.I find them far too heavy and I still tend to squint with them.Yet my long distance ones are great.
Tonight it is a simple Pasta and sauce.I might add a few mushrooms and pancetta cubes. That wind seems to be picking up.I can hear it down the chimney.Chester is in the best spot.Lying on the rug in front of the fire. :-D :-D
Now I must ring Janice.

As for a photo in a Wet suit. NO WAY. I wouldn't be able to get into one. Ann I agree with every word you say. Can just imagine the BLUE AIR.
Mandy, Upstairs pudding. I wonder if he is looking for a sweet evening lol lol
Shirl, You seem to be doing well for yourself with all this fine food. Don't start putting on weight, I like my girls SLIM.
Black as Newgats Knocker out there, and RAINING like hell !!! Will have to see a bit later, if we will be going to the pub. Not going out in this weather.
