Have spent the last hour or so looking things up for Fitz.My fingers and thumbs are aching now.I keep forgetting to use my mouse to scroll :-S :-S
Well done for staying civil. Not easy sometimes when you really want to let rip at someone who is being obnoxious and rude.It just makes you the better person :-D :-D I have Bondi Rescue on the TV.They are rather fit aren't they ;-) ;-) in their Speedos :-D :-D

Afternoon All,
Oh, poor you Frank! Perhaps your tum is upset with all this brother business. If OH tells me he thinks he has an irritable bowel I tell him it matches the rest of him then!! :-D No....not at all true really, only just a bit when he has to queue somewhere! :-S I hope you are improving, better now than in the week. I think you would feel better for attending the memorial service.......nice that your neice wants to visit.
The only eggs we are having tomorrow will be poached. I really resent paying inflated prices for a bit of chocolate! I might be tempted to get one on Tuesday though when they will be HALF PRICE!! :-D Can't do that with kiddies though, they want them on THE DAY! lol Horror, shock I will be cooking dinner tomorrow!! :-0 :-0 We usually go out, but places will be closed and others very busy so we are staying in......well, I think so. ;-)
Have you found it all now then Jane? Meant to ask how the Dubhai situation is now?
Mel, it is so annoying when you wrench something. Seems to take days to get right again. I hope it has been 'light duties' today.
Kim, you see it all the time now don't you, people hiding behind computers saying things they wouldn't dream of saying to your face. They can't hold a discussion without personalising it and being rude.......some just because they CAN! It must be quite shocking and a little upsetting when it happens to you though.
Mandy, will you be laying a trail for the little ones tomorrow? :-D I hope no plaster got on your carpets today.......a right game to get out of them. It sounds like the shawl won't be long before it's done now. I have changed patterns before too.......it is so easy to go wrong on some as you can't even see if it looks right!!

Back from the border and having a cuppa.
Arm not too bad and oh thinks I have pulled a muscle in the top.
All plants but one put in now and where I was going to put it there is terrible bindweed so oh said to leave it in the pot for now and have a go with my touch weeding thing.
Kim what a horrid woman. Oh won't let me go on FB.
Frank maybe the upset tum is due to the prospect of that trip to Hastings and getting excited. Hope it settles for tomorrow as Ann said. Not a nice thing to have for a car journey.
Did anyone see the boat race???? What a to do. I don't think it was at all fair. What on earth was that man doing in the water to start with and then Oxford breaking an oar. :-| :-| :-| :-| :-|

Hope you have a nice day tomorrow Frank. We shall expect a report when you arrive home.
I am done for the day outside now and am going to get dinner. Chicken breasts and I am going to stuff them with garlic cheese and wrap them in bacon. Chip I think as I can't be bothered with anything else and some mushrooms and peas.

My favourite childhood memory was going to visit my grandad's mom on the weekends and during school holidays. She used to grow her own fruit and veg, for helping her to pick it she used to give me a basket of strawberries to take home with me, Another memory I have of her is that she used to watch world of wrestling on ITV every Saturday afternoon during the 1980's before she became ill, still makes me chuckle how over excited she used to get when watching it lol

My mum left when I was born,,,but I remember her dad used to cook me roast potatoes (may fav food) every Sunday... He used to cut them long ways and roast them in fat..
Outside was crunchy and soo tasty while inside was soft and yummy....
I have tried to replicate them with no success...

Morning Everyone. Hi to Michelle and Kellie. ' Kellie ,my roast potatoes are a huge favourite with the family and visitors. It's about the only thing I am proud of in the cooking department lol I always use the same oil Cris* and Dr*.Always Maris Piper potatoes.Boil for about 10 minutes ,drain and give a good shake until they are all scuffed up then into very hot oil.My son (26) always manages to sneak the crispiest one :-S
Michelle ,my Nana lived with us for some years .She moved into a home when she was 92.I always remember hearing her shouting at the Wrestlers on a Saturday. She never missed a programme :-DI think that was the highlight of the week for her.

I seem to have been up for ages.I remembered that I had meant to take the Turkey out of the fridge to finish defrosting last night. But I forgot :-S.I have had it in the oven on the defrost thing for a while so it should be thawed now.
Chester is sat beside me waiting for Chris to get a move on and do walkies. There is no rushing Chris :-|

Morning Jane and welcome Michelle and Kellie,
I do my potatoes the same way as Jane and they are crispy on the outside and soft and tasty on the inside too. I also use Maris Piper potatoes.
Had a little light rain here this morning but it is much warmer than yesterday. No breeze or wind.
Hope Frank is better today and enjoys his weekend.
Gave oh his chocolate last night and he told me it was my fault if he got it all over his pillow cases!! He likes to let it melt in his mouth!! :-S
I have my Ferrero Rocher in front of me and am being very good as I shan't have one till later on.
It always seemed compulsary to watch the wrestling on a Saturday afternoon and I can remember watching Big Daddy and Mick McManas. Did'nt like him as he had a hairy back!!

I wonder how many families will sit down to a Roast that has lovingly been prepared only to be faced with egg filled children who can't eat anything because they feel sick and are already full :-S :-S :-S I think it is time I put my Turkey Breast in the oven.

Morning everyone, Happy Easter
Hello Michelle and Kellie :-)
We will be having roast potatoes later with the Turkey , i boil my potatoes first then into hot oil just keep giving them a turn now and then, i remember mum use to coat her potatoes in flour after boiling them ,then into the oil , they were lovely and crispy done like that .
My Dad use to like the wrestling on a saturday afternoon , he would get excited and shout too. Then we all had to keep quiet while he checked his pools coupon !!
The little ones have been here for the egg hunt this morning ,i just had to remember where i hid them all as last year i found two in the garden they had missed !! It was a bit chilly outside so we hid them indoors today , had to keep Toby out as he would have sniffed them out !!
Jane have you started your egg ?
Not doing much here today ,just got the veg to do for later .

Mandy ,no !!!! my egg is still on top of the unit :-D :-D.Didn't want to spoil my appetite. The Turkey is cooking nicely and the potatoes are all fluffed up ready to go in when the Turkey comes out.I think I will chuck a few twigs of Thyme in with them today. Usually after a big roast I never want anything else to eat by teatime, but i think I might just have a nibble on that nice egg this evening while I watch TV.I must not eat it too near bedtime though as I know it will make me restless and my heart rate speeds up so I will never get to sleep.Must be the caffeine.
I forgot about the Football Pools .I think my Dad used to check them, but I don't ever remember him being that interested in Football.
I hope the children enjoyed their egg hunt. Fitz's wife still does one for the boys and their girlfriends lol.28 and 26 yrs :-D :-D.Fitz thinks they are all bonkers :-D :-D

Happy Easter Sunday and hello to Michelle and Kellie.
Mel fb pretty good 98% of the time and catching up with old friends. You just get this small group who cause trouble tand argue with strangers. Your OH probably knows best. ;-)
Jane you have been good with those eggs. It was a competition between our kids and the ones next door as to who got the most eggs. Ridiculous really and as you said - sick kids with no appetite for lunch or dinner. I used to have to hide them away and bring them out for a treat. We used to have the egg hunt too which they loved. Great days back then.
My dad used to love the Wrestling on a Saturday and I used to watch it with him. My mum's baked potatoes were always the best and dad's mother cooked a great roast dinner.
Off to watch some tv. Have a good day all. 11.21 pm EST

Well I am truly stuffed now.No room for pudding(which looks really nice) .Maybe later.Chris has managed to have some, but James hasn't.I am now refusing to do dishes :-D :-D :-D.I have cooked ,so someone else csn clear away.Just finishing off a nice glass of Prosecco and trying to let the food go down.I think I might have to undo my bra so I can breathe :-S.In fact I am going to do that right now...Ahhhhh! thats better.
I hope our Frank is having a good day.

Afternoon All,
Gawd, yes, Big Daddy!! I'd forgotten him Mel. My dad always liked the wrestling too. As for the pools results, SILENCE had to reign when they were on....or else!! I remember being allowed to choose the teams and put the ticks on the coupon sometimes as well.
When I do roast pots it is exactly like Jane too. I usually use rapeseed oil now and often put pepper and mixed herbs in the oil to spoon over.......using Maris Piper makes a difference! Trouble is I only eat roasts very occasionally, but that crunch is so nice!!
Well, I have just eaten a creme egg! :-D OH brought me one from the paper shop when he popped out earlier. We just had lamb chops today with swede, carrots, onions, cabbage and new pots. Followed with stewed apple and custard.
I'm now making a necklace with FELT......hope it turns out alright!
