We have been asked down to Harvey's for lunch on Sunday, and will bring Lewis back with us till Wednesday evening. Then we are off to Hastings at 10.00 Thursday morning.

What a fantastic blue sky.It is cold though and some frost.It looks very pretty glistening in the sunshine :-D
I have left Chris snoring.He was doing my head in so I came downstairs with my book and made a nice Mug of Tea.Ahh! Bliss :-D :-D

Dull & cloudy here , no frost and dry at the moment. OH fixing window blinds in back porch for some reason the are hanging lopsided :-S.

We plan to be out by 10.00 to go food shopping, after that as yet no plans, just see how we feel.

Time for another cuppa , I really need to get dressed aswell.

You are up early twittering away. Shops not open here today, so everyone will be out in force tomorrow. It has been a really lazy one for me, feeling a bit yuk.

It has been a beautiful Good Friday with 26-27 degrees. Did some washing, but left the rest. :-S

Frank I did see that woman on television and whilst very attractive, I have seen more beautiful women inside and out. She certainly has herself up there on her own personalised pedestal. I did have a laugh though, well you have to. ;-)

Maureen is away and she will no doubt have an enjoyable time.

I posted a note on the Woodford Bridge site on Jacquie Lawson, and received a couple of replies about my brothers death. He lived in the "BRIDGE" for best part of 80 years, so was well known.

Back home now and I have an awful lot of planting to do. Oh sent me into the garden center and followed me with a big trolley and said you have £100 for perenniels for the border. Well I was like a child in a sweet shop given the run of the place!! :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D :-D

I spent £109 in all and then he bought me some canterbury bells after a good breakfast and some more mealworms when he got his fish food.

So you all know what I shall be doing for the rest of the day. If I don't get back on here you will know my back has given out.

Now where did I put my trowel and spade????????

Sharp frost here this morning ,we've had a little sun but looks more like rain now .
Been to see DIL this morning to take her card and presents for her birthday today ,she's 32 !! wish i was 32 again!!

Yes Jane got the hot cross buns, this is the second lot i've bought the first ones soon went .

Frank , i don't seem to have had the card either :-(

Hubby's going to scim a couple of little bits of the ceiling in the conservatory this afternoon ,then son is coming tomorrow to help him scim over all the rest of the ceiling .
At the moment we have just a light bulb dangling as hubby has taken the old light down ,looks lovely :-S :-S
We have a new light fitting to go up later when he's finished decorating ,the reminds me i must get some of those candle bulbs to go in it .

Finished the main part of the baby shawl last night ,just got the border to do now , i have decided to do the border from another pattern as the one on this pattern was so hard to do , i don't let much beat me but no way could i do that one!!!

Just got to make hubby a cuppa before he starts the ceiling .

Well Mel you are going to be a busy little bee.I can just picture you in the garden centre saying "I'll have these ,and these ,and these,and these" lol.Was it busy? I went to Tesc* and everyone and their Mother was there. :-S.The roads were heaving too.

Pat we aren't doing anything for Easter either.Never do.Chris is busy in the garage putting up boarding to cover in that nasty pipe that leaked all the poo and stuff.I shall be glad not to go in the garage and see it all exposed.The chap from Wick* delivered the boarding yesterday at 8.15am.I hope you manage to get out to the park with Mocha.It has clouded up here now and looks like it even might rain.
Frank that was nice to get those replies.Your Brother must have been well known there.

My 90 year old neighbour is home now after having her second Knee replacement and doing fine.I won't tell Janice :-S.There is obviously a big problem with hers :-S :-S :-S.

Just going to put some Bacon and Mushroom Tart things (THAT I MADE MYSELF) :-D :-D.in the oven to heat up for lunch.

My SIL & BIL after donkey's years of being else where descended on my wife like a bad smell when she was left some monies as an inheritance.
They only wanted one thing,and it wasn't to extend their condolences :-|

I can't be doing with people who creep out of the woodwork when they get a sniff of money or goodies :-S.Shame on them :-| :-|

All the shops would close at lunch time too on Good Friday ,now they are all open like a normal day ,the only thing is this morning when i wanted to go in the bank, it was closed !!

No rain here so far but its really dark !!

Mandy .Chris said we should have Fish today,and said we could get fish and chips lol.That sounded good to me ,except the are some Chicken en croute things in the fridge that need to be eaten by today. if he really wants fish ,he can open up a tin of Tuna :-D
I am still looking at that Easter egg ;-) as children we never had an Easter egg before Easter Sunday.So I am going to stick to the right thing and not have mine until Sunday.(Golly I am so good :-D :-D ;-) ;-)).I might just have to hide it though ,because it is looking at me saying EAT ME :-S :-S :-S :-S
