What a day .It is wet and windy and horrible :-S.At least the garden has benefited .i have spent the afternoon at Fit'z looking through some of his old family pics and letters and noting down names and dates so I can have a look up some info for him.If I get stuck I will yell for help :-D :-D

Oh Maureen what a nuisance with your tv.I thought all the switch over had finished.Good luck hunting for your hat and accessories.You should get something in MK.

Mandy I don't think there will be any Easter Eggs here :-(.I did get James and his Girlfriend one each and he took them down to Canterbury at the weekend.I might just have to buy us one to share.Some of them in the shops look scrummy.
I got half a leg of Lamb for Sunday,and a small Turkey Joint.James doesn't eat Lamb.
I suppose I had better clear the table now and set it for dinner.Moussaka tonight.I got a funny look from Chris when I told him what we were having.

We won't be going to the Farm Museum after all
Daughter no 1 says it's not safe for a pregnant woman to be near new born animals especially lambs as if there's any form of infection from the animals it can be the cause of human miscarraige, so we certanily don't want daughter put at any risk .
Sofia is still too little to care about seeing the baby lambs and we did get to see chickens and rabbits last week,

I had forgotten that Fiona.Better safe than sorry.Did you say it is your O's birthday on Monday? It 's my sisters birthday then too.I doubt she will be doing anything special this year because of that knee of hers :-S

I think my dinner is ready now .I'm looking forward to it :-D

You carn't be too careful Fiona , best to keep away from the animals , i'am sure you'll find other ways to amuse Sofia for the day :-D

Don't think i'll be getting any Easter Eggs , i might treat myself to a bar of Dark Chocolate :-D

Got the family coming tomorrow for tea , Spag Bol has been mentioned , i don't mind as that's nice and easy to make,thank goodness for the jars of sauce !! ;-)

I won't be up late tonight.Well I say that,Chester is behaving very oddly He is in and out of his bed like a Yo Yo .I keep opening the back door for him but he doesn't seem to want to go out.I don't know if he has got pain somewhere so am not sure whether to give him a pill :-S He is definitely not comfortable.

What a pain with the tv Maureen! I hate the tuning in business anyway and never expect it to work! That blue dress sounds a good colour to 'accessorise'!!

Well, never mind rain lashing down, we had sleet early this morning and by the time we set off for Grantham it was a thick snow blizzard for about half an hour!! Since then it has been rain, followed by rain!! I drove back via Melton Mowbray and OH wanted to go to the pork pie shop, but it was raining so hard we called in Sain*burys near home instead and got one!

Feeling weary after all the plodding about so off to bed early I think........a day in tomorrow and HW to be done. No excuse as it will be too wet to do the garden. :-(

We don't have a hosepipe ban yet. :-D :-D

Off to bed with my book .
OH not in till 11.30pm thats if his flights back in Edinburgh on time.

Weather cold and frosty but the sun is out and the skies are blue.
OH got in just after midnight from Edinburgh airport, NOT A HAPPY BUNNY!!!!!
Went to get his car from the airport carpark where he had left it on Monday and someone had left a big scratch on it.
Mind you they did leave a phone number so we will see what happens next, OH has gone to the garage to drop the car off before work to see what the damage is, OH thinks it could be about £500 to get it fixed :-| :-| :-(

Fiona, when a lorry knocked my wing mirror off my car while it was parked, even though the lorry firm owned up and paid for the damage my insurance company still increased my premium at renewal even with a protected no claims bonus. They said for insurance purposes any kind of accident, whether you are at fault or not, increased risk. Because I am included on OH's car insurance as a driver as well, it also increased his premium at renewal for the same reason. It is another hidden cost. Nothing more annoying than these unecessary scratches that cost so much to put right as well.

Again nothing to report from this end, lots of rain yesterday, and cold and cloudy today. It will be another day of sitting and reading.

Very cold here hands were frozen when hanging the washing out but there is a good breeze..

Oh back now and the cost of the damage to the car will be about £360. thankfully no where near the £500 mark, he has been in touch with the person who gave it a knock/scratch and they will sort it out. :-)

Done it again and did'nt wake up till 11.11 today.

We had a lovely evening. I did'nt have a starter but had a few of oh's whitebait and two pieces of his brown bread and butter.
Rump steak to follow with chips mushrooms tomatoes and peas and a bit of side salad. Many glasses of red and raspberry pavlova to finish. Homemade ones as big as a saucer with lots of cream on top and a huge amount of raspberries. Oh had prefiteroles (sp) and I had two of those as well. A nice Jamerson's to finish off with. Really enjoyed seeing everyone as I don't go ringing now.

Weather here today is cold and cloudy. We had rain on and off yesterday and even a little sleet at one time. Heating was on yesterday but I hav'nt turned it on today.

Just had to comment on the BLOO#Y woman on this morning. What an arrogent CO# she was. Thinks she is so beautiful. She should look in the mirror. Have seen much more pretty women around than her. How she will be hated by other younger women. She's 41 and looks every part of it.

Ros has popped over to Martine,as it's her birthday today also. She won't see her over the weekend as she is off to HULL.

Mel, this is becoming a habit with you.!!!!
