Morning All
And a Happy Mothers Day to all you Mums.I was just saying to James I bet there will be a last rush at Tes** with Dads and little children lol.

It is dull and grey again, with just a little rain in the air.I think it is due here properly a little later :-S.Mel I can't remember when we last had hail like yours.I think you get it far more frequently than us here.

Kim I know my Mum would not have been happy with me looking for my Birth family.I think Dad would have understood better. But I waited until they had both gone before I did anything.I couldn't have upset them for the world.

Coffee time I think ,and then I had better get dressed.

I am back again, after a nice shower and shave.

Feeling a lot better, but not eaten anything yet today.

Jan's daughter Kerry, arrived at 10.00am and took her off somewhere for Mothers day. She will bring her back before dinner. and before Harvey and the others turn up at about 3.00pm.

Raining here for some time, not cold with it.

Ros had a lovely card and presents from Conrad.

He is busy in the kitchen ,getting dinner ready. He is a very good cook. Well trained!!!!, and turns out great meals, with excellant presentation of all the vegetables. It seems a shame to disturb them on the dishes

.
Jan, was up early, getting the table laid up in the conservatory. I must say it looks fit for a King to dine on. All the cuttlery and glass's set exactly in the right postion. I hope I feel able to eat a meal with the rest of the family.

Trust you all have a lovely day, with your children and grandchildren, thoase of you who won't be enjoy your day anyway.

Mandy It's not cold here either.I had to open the back door just now(mind you I have been in the kitchen with the oven on).Beef smelling good again ,and another dog sniffing the air lol.The rain hasn't materialized here ans at the moment it seems to be getting brighter.
Better go and put the potatoes and parsnips in to roast now.

Glad your feeling better Frank, hope you can enjoy the Roast Pork with the family.

Beef all cooked ,we'll have that later with veg etc , i made hot beef sandwiches with mustard for lunch, just to use some up as its a big piece.
Toby had a piece off the end and he's now snoring away on his bed .

Much brighter here now but still raining .

Hubby's now going to watch the Grand Prix , i was suppose to record it earlier ,and i thought i had but i'd only pressed the remind me button :-S :-S so he wasn't very happy with me .

What did you have last night? Something a bit dodgy from a takeaway?

I seem to have been waiting ages for my potatoes to crisp .I put far too much oil in :-S,but they are nearly there. Then it is just the veg.

Mandy I wish Chester was snoring in his bed.He is still on the mooch :-S :-S

Afternoon all, just a quick visit before we go off to our daughters for a Mothers Day family meal. A few bugs going around, so hope the great-grandchildren will be there, bless them.

So to all you Mum's -
A VERY HAPPY MOTHERS DAY

Sorry to hear you've been unwell Frank, hope you soon feel well enough to enjoy the culinary arts. As they say, keep taking the tablets.

Thank you Jane for you wishes, much appreciated. Hope your potatoes finally crisp up for you.

Mel you are a clever socks with your Mothers Day graphic on your thread. Sorry Santa didn't bring you any Jamesons. Mine not only came in the bottle, it came in the box too. Yummy. May have another tot when I get home tonight.

Hope you all have a lovely day, look back in tomorrow. Going from sun to showers here this afternoon.

William ,i hope all the children and babies are there for you today.Have a lovely time.
My potatoes were FANTASTICO as were the Parsnips. All went down a treat, but we are too full for desert :-S It can sit in the fridge until later :-D

Everyone seems to have disappeared for a late afternoon nap. It's just me and the Dawg! and he has finally got into his bed.
Jess (girlfriend) is getting the train at 8pm to go back to Uni in Canterbury. She won't arrive back there until midnight.I am surprised she is happy to travel on her own late at night really as she is so timid.I think she just wants to stay as long as possible here with James(bless).

The sun is shining now.....so much for the heavy rain we were expecting.

HI EVERYONE HOPE YOU MUMS ARE HAVING A HAPPY DAY LOVE TO YOU ALL.

I have just arrived back from Tunisia it was not a holiday it was to help my daughter get her divorce we had a week in a very crowded Tunisia mostly with people from other countries not a great deal of english.
We stayed in a very small hotel but it was handy for all we wanted to do only having a limited budget. We saw Mohsen and he agreed reluctantly to give Shell her divorce no problems but the problem of the daughter was not resolved everyone being tight lipped and we saw a few relatives .
Nights were pretty miserable in a bar with some very noisy local people which was not allowed before .

We visited a uncle about eighty who welcomed us and gave us coffee sat almost on the floor and my knees went to sleep. I thought I was doing well after last time and on my way out this man pinched my bottom and gave me a big wink. my knees ached so much I fell backwards and landed on his lap and he was gabbling away and would not let me go.
I either squashed him or gave him the thrill of a lifetime.
The other man regretted that we were not going to be visiting anymore and he hoped that we would forgive Mohsen but pointed out that our daughter did not convert to there religion .

We left somewhat fed up but Michelle felt better and I do not think I will ever see Tunisia again.

I arrived home and had to go to the Ladypool Road area of Birmingham
I could not find the house I wanted to drop off some beers and the people around would not help me at all. I did not see a single english face and found it very disturbing. I had to get someone to take them later and it took them ages to find the house also being male people were more helpful.

I did have a funny experience down our road. We have many TO LET signs nearly every house and someone spent a night altering the notices they placed a i letter making it Toilet. I guess the same person who turned Dogpool lane into Dogpoo lane by removing the L

Life is never dull here I am going to read all the threads and catch up on the news.

I had a lovely mothers day lots of gifts and flowers and a nice card from April and Matt. Jessica and Michelle phoned each other and ordered me some cute flowers in a little linen shopping bag with hearts on it. freesia and small lilac rose type flowers . I have a cake but do not know if I should eat any with my condition maybe just a tiny bit.

Donnie fell off his peddle bike and fractured his thumb and Beryl went and got herself some leather trousers . Beryl when she sat down sqeeked they were so tight.
HAVE A LOVELY EVENING EVERYONE. LOTS OF KIDDY HUGS

I am glad everyone had a nice day.

I cooked chicken today and we had it with carrots, roasties and cauliflower with a cheese sauce over the top. All that was followed by cherry pie and double cream. I am so full I need a drop more wine to wash it all down.

Just nipping in swiftly before bed,

Sheila ,you are a great Mum,doing that for Michelle.Going all that way and something I'm sure you really didn't want to do.
Hopefully once things go through with the divorce she will be able to move on and begin to enjoy life again.

Love the sense of humour of the person changing the signs lol :-D

Well I have watched DOI and Upstairs Downstairs.I have really got into U/Dstairs

I will see Fitz tomorrow after he has been for his Pre Op Assessment. Then on Tuesday afternoon he has asked me if I could run him to the hospital.I must remind him to take his ear plugs :-D :-D.Those wards are so noisy :-S

Right that is me for the night ,so see you all tomorrow x

Morning All

Hope all mums had a lovely Mothers Day yesterday, I have not had a chance or the peace to come on here over the weekend,

Saturday saw OH & I away down to Chorley to visit MIL again, this time we were on our own as BIL was working. anyway she is feeling much happier now knowing what all the pain was about and how to go about coping with it,
Doctors say it was severe artheritic pain in the spine, her right hip joint is well worn and the the pain was the muscles tightening up and going into a spasam, they can do nothing for her directly, she will have to cope with the pain till it becomes easier with medication, and go to physio classes,
We hope to hear that she will be going home from hospital next week (or rather to BIL house for 2 weeks so she can build up her confidence and they can get her back to eating properly again.
she has lost a lot of weight , which is in away helping to take the presure of the hip but she needs to build up her strength .

Yesterday we had Sofia all day as her dad is away and her mum started work at 5.30am, We had great fun it was a sunny day but chilly in the wind, we went to the shops to get some wellies and spent time in the garden planting and playing in the sand tray, and messing about playing catch and kicking with the ball, everyone was tired at the end of the day,

Slept in a litle later this morning so I away to put the kettle on and get some breakfast.

Morning all.

I have a lot of threads to catch up on lol.
Friday morning was at work at the charity shop..Not used to early mornings. They are open Good Friday.I just said I will be away.Didint work bank holidays while in school so am not starting doing it volantary now lol.

Have been to the coast to visit younger son and family,,Sat had a Drive into to Deal to order some balloons to be let off for what would of been my grandsons birthday for next month..My son will then pick them up the day before for us.. Had a quick walk along the beach in the drizzle then back to dover.
Sunday went to a Zumba dance group.. with my daughterinlaw .which I enjoyed..I couldnt do all the arm movements as it pulls my chest to much..careful Frank lol but I was ok with the foot work as I am used to that at linedancing..#
May give it another go sometime..I do like the kind of salsa and rumba music they use.

Have a another lot of washing in the machine at the moment.Already have washed Mochas bedding etc,..I may attempt to give him his first bath later as he has been on the beach two weekends on the trot..

The sun is shining at the moment but we had a sharp frost here first thing,,Only 3 degrees when I got up...

Driving back from Dover we left in the Sun yesterday afternoon 9 degrees then we hit the rain for about an hour of the journey..The temperture really dropped down to 5 degrees then,

I will catch up with you all later when I have read your posts.. byeeee
