Morning all,

I was in bed by 10.15 last night. after blowing a fuse !!!! Why I don't know. Just a bad turn. Slept till 5.00 am, and got up tea and book till 8.00 when Ros got up. You can cut the tension with a KNIFE. Don't feel much better this morning. So might get off out for a hour or so.

Yes Mel, I have watched the series with Trevor Eve. I don't know that because it's been split over three weeks, but I kept loosing the story. Glad when it finished last night.

Par, Have a nice weekend and hope MOCHA gets on alright with the other dogs, When we had our toy poodles, they would run between the legs of the big dogs, It was quite funny to watch, how the big ones couldn't work out where they were.

It's Conrads Jan's 60th Birthday tomorrow. We are all meeting up at a Chinese restaurant in Market Street, Kettering. I can't think of the name, but bet Jane has been there. !!!! I went there once before, a few years ago. The food as I remember is very good. Her Daughter, grand daughter, and sisters are coming up from Torquay, which she knows nothing about. Also Conrad has managed to contact some old friends of hers, who she hasen't seen for years, and they are coming. (( Not such a good idea I think) You don't know how they will react after all these years !!!!

Flowers nice to see you are still with us.

Morning to one and all

Mandy ,so sorry to hear of your OH's Brother. :-(

Frank,is it Lee Garden (chinese) you are going to?.I do go there with Fitz sometimes at lunchtime. They do a great buffet at lunchtimes.I think you will get a real shock to see the difference in that part of town.A lot of work has been done .I think it looks pretty good now.

You probably blew your top because of all that business with your brothers.I bet it must have been on your mind .Maybe now you have released all that pent up anger things will smooth out.You have to be chilled tomorrow when you go for the meal :-D

Pat it's good you are getting Mocha out and about now and seeing other dogs(even if they are huge) lol.Dogs need to socialize and they usually love meeting other dogs.

Flowers I have a dog and he will be 14 in the summer.I have found a lovely lady who has him at her home when we go away. She doesn't ever take more than one so that suits Chester fine.He goes off with his bed, bowls and toys ,and has his head hanging :-S,but I do know that he soon settles in and he gets quite spoilt. So I can go away and not have to worry about him at all.I did use Kennels a few times when he was young but it was dreadful. He was so miserable and I felt so guilty :-S :-S
Glad you have your holiday sorted.

Well I need to get some jobs done this morning so will crack on.

Mel you are so right about how the time flies by.I find it really scary :-S :-S

Hello everyone,

Sunny here today, maybe for the next few days I hope. Enough rain and floods already!!!!!

Sheila, good to have you back, although not great news that hubby has been in hospital. Sounds like he is on the mend and loving his movies. I've been giggling myself silly here reading about Jasper's antics at the doggie show :-D Poor Jess, they are a long way from home, but I'm hoping she will make some friends. April seems to have settled in, loving the beach and making a pal. It does frighten me what they eat in America, bacon dipped in chocolate and those heart-stopping burgers and fries cooked in goodness knows what. They wonder why the health system is in a shambles with all those clogged arteries. I wish they would at least educate their young people to eat properly.

Jane is it tomorrow you go to London to meet the new man in your daughter's life? Have a great time.

Pat is Mocha's cough gone? He should enjoy himself with the other dogs. King Charles are usually very sociable dogs. I had carpel tunnel when I was pregnant with my son. It went when he was born, all very strange :-S

Maureen it sounds like Alfie is still very cheeky. You must really enjoy those times outside with him and your weather sounds much better at the moment.

Sheila our Council tends to just fill in the potholes and do patch-up jobs. Every time we have a downpour the fill is gone and everyone is avoiding these large holes. Our street was done about 6 years ago and is still very smooth, but it's a different story when you go around the corner. Lots of damaged cars around this area.

Well the ragdoll is playing up, so she's gone out to the puss cave (garage). All carpeted with a scratching post, bed and food. She'll be there until morning. The other one will probably lie down with me when I head to the couch. Big boofy thing she is.

Joel had a letter from the police today regarding car security. Nothing in the car to steal!!!! How can you secure a car when the idiot smashes in the windows?? It will be a long process for sure.

Mandy I'm very sorry to read your news. So sad for your OH to lose his brother.

Frank and Ros have a good night at Kettering. Hope Jan enjoys her birthday and seeing old friends again. Take care and rest up when you can. I did Google the town, it has a really lovely main street.

Well I've found out my Benedictine monk gg.uncle had a wife and 5 kids. That's really going to stir up the family tree pot, lol. Love it!!! More scandal ;-)

Have a good afternoon all and take care. 11.47 pm DST

Afternoon everyone

Wet & windy day,

Daughter no 1 not well so she is unable to go to work today so I have a free afternoon , no babysitting for Sofia.
They both will be down tomorrow evening to sleep over night as SIL is traveling to London very eary on Sunday morning and Daughter no 1 starts work at 8.00am , so we will have Sofia all day till her mum comes home later in the evening.

Sorry that your OH is ill in hospital Sheila.

Sorry that your BIL has passed away Mandy.

Would you believe my tumble dryer of 3 weeks is not working OH says he thinks there's something wrong with the moter, it is making a terrible grinding noise, he is coming home early from work this afternoon to phone Cu*ry's and get someone out, thankfully we are still under a 1 year guarantee :-( :-D

Jane Report 9 Mar 2012 14:07

Don't mention Pot holes KIm :-S :-S :-S.We have some horrendous ones around here.As you say they get filled in then a bout of bad weather opens them all up again. They are so dangerous .I'm surprised there are not more accidents with people hitting them especially cyclists.

Yes it is tomorrow we go to London to see Hannah and the new Beau :-D :-D.I need to sort out a bag to take her Birthday Pressies in.
Our train is at 9.30 and I will get Chester around to my neighbours about 8.45.He will just have a quick walk to stretch his legs and do what he needs to.So no lie in tomorrow .It will be nice to travel by train.Just watching the world go by :-D

Managed to tidy about three quarters of the garden yesterday, not going out there today as it has turned cold but tomorrow looks a warmer day might get out there for an hour then. Am off later tomorrow to see Woman in Black, it will be dark by the time we come home ......HELP ......

Think it was for Alfie's 'convenience' rather than consideration for me but he has 'gone' down the side by the fence and not in the middle of the borders, he seems to be running out of space now as there's a trail all along the fence, I've covered it all over with earth and have reduced his Lactulose. Let's hope it settles down.

I love a bit of scandal in the family research too Kim, have unearthed a couple of skeletons in the cupboard, really must get back into it again there just seems to be so many other things to do and I know once you start on the family tree nothing else gets down.

Sorry to hear about your OH's brother Mandy, don't know what I'd do without mine.

Have a great day tomorrow Jane, so much more relaxing on the train, especially going into London.

That's the first Kidnap and Ransom that I've seen, thought it was really good, I like Trevor Eve, he's a good actor, also watched a new seires on BB2 called White Heat, it looks good. Was a late one for me last night as I had to watch K & R on ITV +1.

Afternoon everyone,

It's been lovely and sunny today , got all my towels out on the line and there's a good blow .

I've been spring cleaning the kitchen ,washing down all the units , is it me or do things take longer as you get older !! i know a few years ago i would have whizzed round the kitchen with time to spare ,now it seems to take a lot longer .

Hubby's not to bad today ,it got to him yesterday losing another brother , not sure yet when the funeral will be .
This brother was the one that had a farm and hubby spent a lot of time with his brother helping on the land and with the cows when he was younger .

Tea tonight will be easy ,there's Shepards pie left from yesterday ,only have to do a few more veg and teas sorted .

Hi Kim sent you a e mail today after looking at a funny dog that made me howl with laughter. Jane did you meet your daughters boyfriend not sure what page I am on and hope Fritz is ok is he very ill so out of date with the messages. Is it today have a lovely time

Fiona thank you for your sympathy on my ho having a spell in the hospital.

Sorry about your brother in law Mandy.

Kim I do moan about our road it would do me good to live near where you live.I know the road needs a new surface but you would laugh if you saw some of the notices they have put on the lamp posts.

One says. Do not park along this road even if you are resident leave car
in other roads or park on park area DO NOT PARK IN OTHER ROADS LONGER THAN ONE HOUR.
So if you have a car you have to drive around after a hard days work to find somewhere to park then you have to go out after one hour and move the car can just see them putting up with that round here.
The elderly people will not be pleased having cars parked outside there houses.I can see trouble brewing.

We are ok we will be let out only because husband complained with no cars coming up our road he will loose business.

Jasper made me laugh Kim after the event but could have cheerfully killed the little dog at the time. He badly needs a cut his fur is all fuzzy long and curly. Ann said she likes the rough cairn terrrior mine looks more like a bush on paws. Jassy tried hard to get off with a poodle called
Paris who was male not female by jumping on his back and the women was horrified. It made some money for the Great Ormond street hospital.
the large amount of ten pounds. five which was mine. how did the others pay I wonder or did they.maybe cheques so more money later.

About a year ago I was driving along and this guy in a mini came roaring past me and nearly shoved me off the road. I made a rude gesture at him and carried on driving. When I got to the top of the lane there was this guy
stopped he had hit a pothole and swerved off the road. He flanked me down and I stopped. He said thanks for the rude gesture now could you run me to the garage. I said you nearly caused me to have an accident and now you want me to take you to a garage. He said well look at my car
I said ok I will take you to the garage which was near a big super market two roads away. When we got there he jumped out and gave me the same gesture leave it to your amagination what it was. i felt like Victor Meldrew in One foot in the grave. I was saying I dont believe it . When I told my ho this guy had got in my car he nearly had a fit. But I could not just leave him stranded or should I have done. what a nerve to be rude though when I had helped him.

Bendictine monks we met one once at a brewery believe it or not five years ago he was learning how to make beer. i had this vision of them all sitting round drinking the stuff. it seems they like to sew there wild oats and have a gay time lol haha Kim maybe your relative was very nice though.

Well I have been looking up a relative in the library section of ancesters in Birmingham .Kitty was a women of the night other words for her and she married a policeman but he found out she was seing a less desirable gentleman a boxer who had a bent nose. not many relatives talked about her and I only discovered the lady when my brother gave me a old book my grannie had written in. it seems she was enthralled with Kitty and tried to find her. grannie wrote. I cannot find anything about this lady
who she lived with or what she did until she died in a fire which was in a public house in Pimlico London . my dear brother was very upset I found this information having kept most of the family heirlooms and antique things. Her name was Kitty Maloney it sounds Irish. so what relative was she I wonder. I think she was my Grans grannies sister.so I will do some investigating on her when I get a minute. .Maloney puzzles me.

I don't know where the day's gone, have hardly done anything. Put a painting up and made a right mess of the wall. My dad was a perfectionist and mum was more .....that'll do .... so I start out like my dad, measuring the distance from the top of the wall, then measuring sideways, pencilling a mark where to put the clips, after several attempts to knock a pin in, most of them just end up all bent I went to hang the picture to find I'd measured it wrong, so I end up like my mum, knocking a few nails in and hanging it from that. If I ever move from here I would have to redecorate, underneath all the pictures are loads of holes and dents where I've missed with the hammer. So that's about all I've done all day.

We have been to Pets at home. and have bought a exstendable lead for him for going on the beach or longer walks and something else for him to get his teath into. Kim Mocha coughs almost gone now..But he has been put back on anti biotics because the swab showed E Coli..I know they get this from their mothers..All I can say is I dont think much of the breeder..

Hubby has done the aquarium again apart from the baby guppys we now have 2 baby platies... Its getting exciting in there.

Mel...I cant remember who I wanted you to look up for me when I do I will get back to you :-0

Sheila.I hope you manage to find out more about Kitty. You never know what you may find out lol ;-) ;-)
It's tomorrow I am off to London ,and no Fitz isn't ill,but is desperate to get this bad kidney out of his body.He is so scared the longer it is there the more chance of the cancer spreading.I think it is awful he has had to wait so long for his op :-S

I do hope John(the new man) approves of us .There will be me who won't stp talking and Chris who will be so quiet :-S :-SJames has met him and says he is chatty and has good sense of humour so I reckon it will be fine.Better than the last one ,that's for sure :-D.

Pat I have a long lead .I think they are great ,but sometimes if you are chatting to someone with a dog and the dogs get all playful it is easy to get a bit tangled lol.
My Sister has a Spanish Waterdog called Oscar.Bought from a breeder.I won't tell you what they paid for him(outragous amount).Anyway poor Oscar is half baked and he has a strange bite which means his tongue is always sticking out. They really should have had their money back, but Janice and Larry had fallen in love with him and decided not to do anything.
He is so strange it is like the 'light is on ,but no-one at home'.

I have just done my nails.I hope the don't chip by the morning.I know Chris will say I look like a Tart because it is RED.But it goes nicely with my top ,so tough ti**y :-D :-D.....He isn't keen on my top either. :-S Boring old F*** lolol
I love him really :-D :-D

I think I had better start doing something for dinner now

Ooh ,just seeing the weather for tomorrow.Looks like a 16 in London now.I think I better take my fan lol.We are having lunch somewhere just near the Embankment so it will be nice to have a stroll along the Thames. We are going to have a tour of Somerset House after our lunch.Shame the records aren't kept there any more. But I think it will be quite interesting.
I must remember to take my camera.I can't believe Hannah will be 29 tomorrow :-0 :-0.I had her by C Section and when I held her in my arms it hit me .....she was the first blood relative I knew. She was mine.It was a very strange but wonderful feeling :-D :-D :-D :-D,and very special.(I'm getting all soppy now lol)

Good evening everyone,
Been a great day for washing here today, I've got 2 loads dry outside, much better than having to use the tumble drier.
Quiet in our house tonight, no kids ! Charlotte's gone ice skating with her friends to Bradford & Joe's gone to see a band called Nero in Leeds. Tomorrow he is having his 1st driving lesson,it's so expensive now, it cost £50 for the provisional licence & that's before the cost of lessons.
Iam trying to get in front of myself so I can have a nice easy Saturday washing machine back on, vacuumed & dusted throughout- think I'm going to meet myself coming back !!
Think I might spend a few hours in the garden in the morning & mow the lawns if the grass is dry enough.
Hope you all have a nice day tomorrow on your travels.
Back to the house work now. x
