The Vodka I have is supposed to be good for the stomach and has herbs in it..I just added a dash of lemonade to stop my self chocking on it lol..

My Mocha is using the garden well for his toilet training..but he is pooing for england...is that normal in puppies..On his walks he waits until he gets back too. Have any of you treid these dog toilets that you bury and the waste turns into something else :-0 :-0 :-0

Yesterday in the charity shop was abit boring,They are trying to get more staff,,Did a bit of steaming on the clothes which as I am short hurt my shoulder..Hung some clothes up made the tea.havent done sorting yet..Im going in today to see how the till works it might be a better option lol..Warm on the shop floor cold out the back..

My poor eldest son was on that euro train that was at a standstill for 10 hours.
Left St pancress at 2pm arrived home after 1 am..There was a power line down just inside france ? at lille..THey had run out of food the elctricity kept going off and in the end they had apolice presence on board..They were rationed with a bottle of water and 2 biscuits..I heard a lot of fashion models were going over to do a show...
I hope there wasent to many children and babies on board..

Jane I am sorry to read that Fitz is not well. You are a good friend to him and will support him in whatever way you can. Keith's boss had a kidney removed 12 years ago for the same reason and he is fighting fit these days. Medicine has moved along since then. Best wishes to him and I know he will be fine very soon.

Very windy and dull here today and much cooler. More heavy rain forecast for tonight and more evacuations in the Riverina area (grape growing).

OH has a terrible back today. I was surprised to see him come home early and struggle in the door. Can't work out what has happened, no strains or heavy lifting. Gave him one of my painkillers and some anti-inflammatories, naughty I know as you don't give others your medication, but it has helped. He is doing much better tonight.

Sorry I can't go back and re-read your posts as I will lose this and get the error message. Have just made a cuppa, so I will go and have that.

The second marriage is my connection. Doreen Boskett being my grandmas neice and my mums cousin..I wondered why he was quite old when h e married her..He also has 2 children from his first marriage I have found..,
So he must have divorced his first wife before 1932..as the death date ties up with birth of his first wife...Doreen had to get married ..she was 3 months pregnant..Oh what is the world comming too lol

I had one of my nights last night. Still awake at 4.00am. Got up and finished a book, then put tele on.

My eyes started to shut at 7.00 am so crept back into bed. Was woken at 10.15 am by the phone. It was one of my Indian friends, about the Computer. Needless to say I was not very polite, and told him where to go !!!!

Ros is at the hairdressers this morning, she left early to go to Morriso##. She is having her "highlights" done, so a new blond coming home this afternoon. at about 3.00pm

I have noticed with this new keyboard, hou easy it is to catch two keys at once, and have to go back editing the posting.

Wet morninh here today, Windows all wet on the conservatory. I knew I should have done my lawns yesterday !!!!

The talk on education at the Records Office was good yesterday. I decided I would have been getting the cane on my hand all the time!! They got it for careless work, untidy work (that'd be me!), insolence and disobedience!! Poor little kids and exams every year too!! If the standards in a year were too low in a school, they would get no funding for the next year and have to rely on charities. I noticed on some records we looked at they showed the reason for leaving. (this was when education was from age 5-12) For a lot of girls it showed 'to help mother'!! How I would have hated that, although I suppose it was better than some of the other options in those times. Overall, it made me think how education is taken for granted these days with how some pupils behave in class.

Better make a start on the jobs before I lose the will!! :-S

Not good news for Fitz, hope they get him in and sorted quick, nothing worse than having to wait, sometimes the waiting and thinking about it is worse than the actual operation. We have heard so much about him over the years he feels like a friend.

Hoping to go and see Woman in Black this weekend, have to go in the afternoon though,I've heard it's really scary so don't want to be out in the dark :-0 I must have a scare wish going on at the moment, am off on a Jack the Ripper Tour next week too, which reminds me, I'd better get it booked.

That Greek take out sounds good Shirl,hope you enjoy it .
We don't have any thing like that here ,its all Chinese or Indian , we use to like the Greek food when we went on holiday to the Greek islands ,the yogurt was to die for ,so thick and creamy ,and i love the Feta Cheese .

We have had some heavy showers over the last few hours ,the suns now shining but over wills mothers it's black as your hat !!!!

Ann, i never feel like doing any thing when we've been out for a Carvery , every time we go i think now i'am not going to eat as much today !!! and i still do :-D

Well, I don't Adam and Eve it, as my old dad used to say. Went to book the tour and it's fully booked for next Thursday, must be popular, have booked it for the following week now.

I love Greek food, we are lucky round here to have lots of different types of restaurants. My favourite is mousaka, it never tastes the same home made.
