Morning All
HI Flowers ,nice to see you still with us.

I cancelled Dentist and Hair as I really feel a bit weak and wabbit this morning.I'm still in my dressing gown and have just been dossing on the settee.

Fiona what a worry that must have been for you both.Brilliant news that he has been offered a transfer :-D :-D

Sheila, I think Your Michelle sounds as she will be doing the right thing in divorcing Moshen. It will be hard for her I 'm sure but he causes nothing but trouble and distress, and she has the rest of her life ahead. She doesn't need all this.
Nice to hear April has made a friend .Poor boy does he know what he is in for lololol.

I 'm off to the settee again.BBL

Morning. Sorry, afternoon. After a very misty start, the sun is out and quite warm. All showered and shaved and dressed.

Feel guilty, should be out in the garden today, getting the veg patch sorted, but another day won't make that much difference. Might put a jumper on and sit on the Patio with my book later.

Right let me put you out of your missery. IMAGINE THE SCEEN

An office area Taped of with wide tape (Like the police use at a crime sceen) but on the tape is "DANGER PSM " i commented that you women didn't need that as an excuse to be ar##y With I think you will all agree.

Jane, I hope you feel a little better , get some rest. It will do you good.

Spring has really sprung around here. Ros had started to tidy up the flower beds in the back garden, and cutting back all the dead bits. I have a MAJOR task when I get started the "BLUE TREE" (don't know it's name) got killed off last winter. and didn't come to anything last summer, so it will have to come out. I might leave the trunk and branches as they are all twisted, and would look good for hanging baskets. as a background. We will see when I get started.

Going for some lunch now.

Just wanted to say hello everyone.

Have not read the posts at all, hoping to do that tomorrow. Have been down to Sydney today to see the doctor. More tests and pills. Need to get to the dentist as well, but he is in Sydney too.

We are having terrible floods over here, dams overflowing. It's all very worrying, can't seem to get that balance with the weather.

Had a couple of school friends visit yesterday. They really cheered me up with memories. We had lots of laughter and Keith looked after the food again. He's so good.

My son went down to see a band play in Sydney on Tuesday night. I worried sick until he got home - he was on his own. He got back to the station to find the car (my old car) had been broken into. Windscreen cracked and passenger window smashed in. Nothing to steal, but contents of the glovebox scattered everywhere. Another 4 cars were in the same condition. Good news is the police caught the bu**er and had him in the van. Sad about the car and THE EXPENSE, but my boy was safe and that's all I could wish for. We have to take the receipts for repairs to the police station and they will file them with the case notes to go to court.

Will go through the threads and I want to read Sheila's poem. I see little Jasper is still missing his friend.

Sad news about Davey Jones. Oh the mad crush I had on him. He was too cute and I loved their music. Another one gone too soon. :-(

Jane sorry you are not well and Frank too. Just glanced through the last 2 pages and Janice has to have more surgery, poor girl. Not good at all.

I will get up to speed with all the news. OH just picked up what he thought was a dead frog. It leapt in the front door at me. Oh I got such a fright. Safely back outside and probably having a float in the pool.

Off to the couch now. Stay safe, bye for now. 11.58 pm DST

Happy Birthday to young Bess <3.Soft silky stroke from me to Bess.
Kim good job they caught the blighter that broke into and damaged your car.People that do this kind of thing never think about all the hassle it causes for victims to deal with repairs and claims etc.

I bet it did you the world of good having a catch up with your friends :-D
Sorry about your dreadful weather out there.(I'm not gloating) ;-) ;-),but it is the most beautiful afternoon .Lovely and sunny and warm. And what have I been doing..........lying on the settee all day :-S.I have actually just got dressed and went with Chester for a few minutes walk down the lane.I am now flopped again but it was nice to get out in the fresh air.
Hopefully I will be back to normal tomorrow as I am supposed to be going to see that film with Fitz.(I can't think of the title) Is it Hotel Marigold?

There is a man on my roof ....fixing a loose tile.I had forgotten all about it :-S
Cup of Tea I think .BBL

Oh what a beautiful day. I sat on the patio reading while Ros continued to weed the borders. Then the guilt got to me, so I went and cleared the wire from the bottom fence, and NAILED next door neighbours fence up. The posts have rotted. and it's falling our way. I supplied and fitted it, when I got the chickens. So he can think himself lucky that I supplied the panels, now he will have to replace the posts.

Jane, I do hope you are feeling a little better, do you want a biit of TLC ???

Kim, Those little baskets what locking up, and throw away the key. Let me have them for a month, I would knock them into shape. !!!!

Flowers, I am looking at the Yorkshire Mores on the Web. thinking of going up there for a break in May/June. Our wedding aniversary is 3rd of June, so might try to fit that day into the trip. We will see.

Mandy are the family there for dinner ?? What are you feeding them ??

Mel, What a clever clogs you are. lol lol finding all this info. about that author.

Maureen, Do you like a good war type book???. I am nearly finished one about a soldier who went through the war and broke into AUSCHWITZ. to see how the Jews were treated. True story of a 92 year old.

Hello Frank .Yes Please.Would you like to come and cook my dinner so I can keep my feet up ?
It is Sausages,Parsnips and Red and White Onions with Thyme.Cooked with Olive oil and a bit of unsalted butter. The recipe suggests nice crusty bread to go with it,but I haven't any so it will be frozen Potato Wedges.I can't be bothered to do any spuds.Chris did tentatively offer ,but he is really busy writing up some reports.I said no thanks Frank is coming to help :-D :-D :-D :-D
He got up at 4.30 this morning!!!!!!!.To prepare some things to do with work.Something tells me he will be early to bed tonight lol

Family all gone home now, we had Gammon tonight .

I had to smile today , Chelsea has to dress up tomorrow as its world Book Day ,she is dressing up as a Princess and she told me she has a Diara to wear in her hair ......she meant Tiara !!!! lol

Kim, nice to see you back with us , all these floods your having !! you must be having our share , we badly need the rain, they keep saying that if we don't get rain soon ,then we'll have a hose pipe ban !!
At least they caught the bu**er who damaged the car , but its you who has the problem of sorting things out and getting the repairs done.

My niece had her car broken into a while ago ,it was funny really, though not at the time , they took the steering wheel !!! and she actually sat in the car ready to drive it before she noticed it was gone !!!

Shirl ,wow that's a lot of snow !!! keep in the warm .
Shirl , have you goggled the ship? you might find some thing out about it by doing that .

Glad you feel a better Jane , Chris was about early this morning ,how ever does he last the day !!

Jane

Jane Report 1 Mar 2012 20:05

Mandy ,I hate it when Chris gets up so early. It catches up with him ,and then it is Mr.Grumpy :-S :-S.I just want shot of him then as a normal conversation is out of the question and can quite easily turn into an argument lol.I don't like to argue. It's too exhausting and a waste of time.
Not sure about this dinner. It hasn't caramelized as it said it should. But I'm sure it will taste ok.Potato Wedges nearly ready .I feel a bit hungry now.

I bet Chelsea will look a cracker in her 'Diarra ' ;-).I remember feeling so proud of my two when they had to get dressed up for something at school. The only thing I didn't like was having to work out what the heck they were going to wear and then make the costumes :-S.Not my best talent.
Dinner is served !
