Mandy..My son from Dover (Gareth ) has arranged the meal.

My son from Paris (Leigh ) paid us a surprise visit.He is picking his 2 children up from his first marriage and taking them back home with him for a few days ...He is driving back tonight then flying back with them on Thursday as he has a works meeting over here Friday..

WEll we had lunch after oh came back from ringing and all I have done since is do the chikens and made some cakes which I have just eaten three of!! with my cuppa.

It has been warmer here today but not a patch of sunshine anywhere. The bird baths have thawed out and the chickens water containers and now there is light rain in the air.

I do like Willliam's stories of BBB puss cat. Purfick for a good laugh..............fur - ther more I would like to here them every day.

Jane could'nt you have cooked soem of that food??

Jane...Mocha had a nice cuddle with Leigh this afternoon..He has now been having a mad half hour chasing round behind the settee..I have just popped upstairs to go on here and he has started barking,,Doent like being on his own

Rib eye steak tonight and a nice bottle of red.

Mandy I am still smoking inbetween but am still using it.

My ho was ill he had a nasty coughing session in the shop and collasped we had to put him to bed my son was here luckily then I had a problem getting on here due to the fact my computor needs a good cleaning off session little hands have put all kinds onto it.

I have been reading some threads most interesting sorry about your sisters problem with her foot Jane. William and Annx love your interesting threads.

I am sure things will settle down for the family anyway if they do not I have done my share for them for many weeks and its not been plain sailing with April shes a little monster munch I think the effects of loosing daddy
caused havoc on her mind it did mine anyway. But do miss them

I wrote a poem about Beryl will post it soon just one more check to make it was to be a noval but well it would have to start from when I first met her and some of the happenings in it would not paint me in a very good light.
haha lol .I was young and thought it clever to play up with Beryl encouraging me .I had to behave when in our house with my parents .

My past caught up with me last Tuesday when I met a lady called Avril who worked in the Weakin factory the branch of Chad Valley where we made the teddy bears she sat next to me on the bus and we used to poke the Kapox up the arms with a spikey thing which she reckoned I kept poking her with down from Londons Eastend to visit her sister.
Sounds like me. I pretended to have a lasp in memory . I know me and Beryl wrote a few notes and popped them in the teddies when the supervisor had a ciggy and went to the loo a few times a day. Smoking was forbidden with all that kapox . But cannot remember poking people . Anyway we had a laugh there was a chap called James Threadneedle who went out with a girl called Maudy Cotton and they got married and that caused a few giggles she reminded of that.

i have been playing table tennis today we have a small fold up table brother came round and he is a champion something or other in Brum.
Of course he won he kept slamming the ball at me on a curve position rotton man and it flew past my ears like it was jet propelled. He had a annoying habit of going whoops everytime he did it and I muttered a few choice words under my breath.

After it was a game of draughts more my cup of tea.

Well off to cook my very nice piece of steak and eat my strawberries
and then watch the skating. Mat and Jorgie are my favourites but
the two coloured lads are coming along nicely would like Rosemary to go was glad Charlene went last week Pat.

i had a long stint in the shop and it was freezing have a nice evening I think the BAFTAS are on at nine oclock started this and came back to it later.Love to all.

Evening all, I thought I had better pop in.

Been very busy, prepared dinner for seven. Roast Beef Roast Pork, roast pots parsnips, Veg was, Broccoli, Cauliflower, Sweetcorn, Asparagus, Carrots, Yorkshire puddings, Apple sauce, Horseraddish (home made) Sweet was Apple crumble and Lemon meingue pie Custard and cream. Not a lot left, so I think they enjoyed it.

Lewis is with us till Friday, He will be at the Cinema, Swimming, Chinese, and what ever he decides he wants to do.

Heard today, That I am to become a G G. Grandad. Laura who married in August has just found out. !!!! Not sure when it's due, but sometime in the summer.

Trust you are all well, catch up tomorrow.

It is a funny old day, in for another storm I think.

My Kiara (ragdoll) is 13 today. OH bought her a couple of toy mice scented with catnip, but she wasn't a bit interested. OH has just taken the black puss Bess off to the vet. She's been unwell for a week, that will be an expensive exercise :-S

Sad to hear about Whitney Houston, but not surprised after she struggled with her tour out here in Oz. I just want to remember that wonderful voice and how she was at the peak of her career.

Sheila hope your hubby is feeling better today. Will be interested to read your poem about Beryl when you post it.

great news Frank about the happy event, a GG granddad you must be delighted.

just doing a bit of tidying up after the weekend, and then after lunch I am off to do a coffee duty at my church centre, one of the ladies is away for two weeks so she asked me to stand in for her.

OH just phoned from work to say that he had rang the company who have built our new porch to say he has recieved the last invoice for the building work but won't be paying till it's all compleate, so the woman said that the joiner will be back this week to fix the outside shelve corners and the men will be back to do the rough cast, so hopefully all will be done & dusted just thought of that saying , my nana used to say that a lot) by the end of the week. :-D :-D so keeping fingers crossed,

I did'nt wake untill 9am then closed my eyes for a while and woke up at quarter to 11am!!!! :-S Must have needed that sleep.............well thats my excuse anyway.

Hi all, Just out of bed. Sat down yesterday afternoon and felt something comming on ( I should be so lucky) !!!! It developed into one almighty cold.Was in bed by 10.15 pm. Head all bunged up and runny noise. Kept me awake most of the night, this morning I ached all over, and had a sore throat.

I did get up for a shower, but got straight back into bed. Have listened to the radio for most of the day, with a read in between. I thought I had better get up to let the bed air.

Once I have had a bowl of stew and doeboys, I will go back again.

Lewis has kept me company for most of the afternoon, with cards tricks, that he learnt on the web. How he remembers them I don't know.

Aw! poor you Frank.You hardly got over your last cold.I have heard of several people getting it second time round.At least you have your little companion to look after you :-S.I think bed sounds the best place.It's blooming miserable outside.The wind seems to have picked up a bit and it is light rain.Thankfully the snow looks like it has almost gone.
I have finally got all the solid ice out of my FROST FREE freezer :-S :-S
I am going to plug it in again tomorrow and give another try.I have a funny feeling that I should have been releasing some handle thing every now and then to drain water.I just noticed it :-S :-S.Lost the instruction book almost as soon as we had the freezer :-| :-| :-|.Fingers crossed it works ok,as it will save us an unwanted expense of about £350 for a new one.Also I think I may have been stuffing too much food in there.

Just had a nice delivery........box of wines :-D :-D

Fitz had a new Kitchen fitted 2 years ago .Paid all money and still lacking one cupboard door :-S
