Back again.Just had to get some washing in.
Pat Mocha is soooooooo cute, and tiny(against that bottle lol)I'm looking forward to more pics as he grows :-D
Kim what a shame about all the cancellations. There will be an awful lot of very disappointed folk.I hope you don't get floods your way :-S :-S It is a very mild morning .Back in short sleeves again. You should have heard the bird song here early this morning it was just like the Dawn Chorus.I think everything is confused with this strange weather.
Ann I have never seen Oil Seed Rape as early as this.I around hope there isn't any growing here yet :-S :-SI will keep an eye open.
I need to go and stock up yet again on Cold and Flu stuff.Poor Chris is absolutely full of it.He has had to go out but will be home soon and I wouldn't be surprised if he goes back to bed.

Jane and Mandy yes everything cancelled, fireworks and all. Joel and his friends are going to the pub for lunch, but they had planned a BBQ at Bateau Bay Beach. It is still pouring here. Jane we will probably get localised flooding in the low lying areas, but our creek doesn't usually flood. People living beside Tuggerah Lake usually suffer the most.
Mel thanks for sending the new photo of Mocha. A great pic beside that bottle

Frank I am so sorry about your lovely puss. You must be very heart broken at the moment. As Jane said he had a very good life with you and he was a very good age for a cat. You have my sympathy.................
Dullish day today with some spouts of sun and then cloudy again. Washing machine on as ironing pile has quite diminished after yesterday when I had a good go at it.
Have to go and get more chicken food today!! They are eating me out of house and home. :-0 :-0 :-|
I see I don't need to send you the second pic of Mocha. I hope I sent it to everyone yesterday and did'nt leave anyone out?
Denise I am sure will enjoy getting back to riding again but be careful please?
Ann another lovely pic of the oil seed rape. I see it was taken through the car window. Like I said in my email why not send it to Springwatch to see if they can say whether it is really early or not.

Afternoon All,
Sorry to hear about your puss Frank, but he died in a happy place with his 'dad'. I bet it will be strange without him for a while.
Those adverts in the cinema drive me nuts how loud they are and I have to stuff tissue in my ears while they are on. Trouble is if you arrive at the end of the adverts to miss them, you might not get to sit where you like. :-S

Hope you are having a nice day!!
We went to our garden club place this morning and had the 2 breakfasts for £5 deal. I had about £3 left in the free vouchers they send you and got some fertiliser and tomato feed, both half price anyway and all I paid was 23p. :-D Then we went in the W*rks in there and I got 2 books for 99p in their BOGOF deal. One is just up my street about a woman who travelled the world as a fossil hunter in the 1800s. OH got a war book for his dad's birthday.
I've just cleaned all the kitchen tops, toaster, hob, sink and microwave.......phew.....need this cuppa now! OH has gone to do notes for a complaint hearing and I am popping for bits from Sain*burys next.
Mel, a place we pass on the way to FIL's keeps miniature horses, tiny goats and poultry. They have had signs out for ages for donations of shredded paper and we always drop ours off. Now they have added another request for any vegetables, trimmings, peelings etc. It must help reduce their costs and is much better than all these things going in the dustbin and being wasted. That's brought a memory back........mixing the cooked peelings with hot water and poultry mash for the chickens as a teenager........lovely smell!! :-)

Oh Frank so sorry poor old puss has gone, you were expecting it but it still comes as a blow.
<3 <3 Happy Birthday Liz <3 <3 Hope you are enjoying your day.
What a shame about the awful weather you are having Kim, we are use to it here, you can never plan anything without thinking what if it rains. All this global warming is really changing the world.
Thanks Pat & Mel for the really cute photos of Mocha, such a handsome boy.
Been on the bus to Harrow. I get a real kick out of riding for free and don't have to worry how long I'm out cos there's no car parking to pay. I'm turning into Scrooge .....lol

Been to Holsworthy market and to get chicken pellets. Got oh two nice jumpers. One in Mole Valley Farmers, his usual grey sweat shirt type and a blue fleecy one in the heart foundation shop for £3.99. Bargan or what?? :-D He may use that one out in the garage as his other three he weaers in the garden are just about bald now and the end of the sleeve is hanging off the blue one. :-|
Have to get ham and leek pasta for oh tonight when he comes in from ringing. I am going to be good and have two nice hardboiled eggs and a salad.
Can't wait to get out in the garden again when the weather gets a bit warmer. Might lose a bit more weight!!

You've been busy Ann with all that cleaning :-D.I finally got around to doing the shower.Yikes ,it was rather manky :-S.But it's done now.I really must keep on top of it.My Rubber garden shoes had a good clean too lol.No mud left on them now.I was wearing my clothes(David).Tucked my trouser legs into my socks.I looked good lolol.
I haven't heard from Janice ,so am not sure if she has gone home from hospital yet.Maybe I will hear something later.I imagine just the getting in and out of the car and getting into the house would just about finish her off.I bet her 3 dogs will be pleased to see her home again :-D
I just had a look on the GR photos and there are some brilliant pics of the Northern Lights on there from Eldrick.Worth a look :-DI don't know which part of the country he is in to get such great photos.

Frank, would just like to add my comiserations on the loss of your cat. We had two lovely cats (not both at the same time) and both were gone from from us way before it was their time. First one Moseley, was a lovely silver tabby so cute and lovable. We left him with my daughter while we went to a weekend wedding in Manchester. He got out of a kitchen louvre window and in spite of all our posters, radio appeals & searches we never did see him again. We believe he was catnapped. Then there was Holly, who was really my cat (well, she adopted me really), a lovely toroiseshell and as cute as could be. She got run over by a car and didn't survive her injuries. People who aren't cat or dog lovers just can't understand the hurt and loss you feel when you lose your beloved pet, let's face it, they ARE family. We have never been able to bring ourselves to have another cat since then, as we couldn't face the heartbreak if anything happened to them. To make up for it, I just give my 'cat' love to other peoples pets - dogs or cats.
So now you know, all your friends on here are feeling for you, and I hope that helps just a little bit although it will never make up for the loss of your cat.
