Fiona what a lovely gift of the greenhouse.Just think of all the things you can grow now.I expect you have to make a base for it first.
David I just saw the tunnel on the news.I suppose it kept them out of other trouble while they were digging lolol

WOW Mel!.Is there something special going on in space tonight that I haven't heard about.I can see myself a few years ago lying out in the garden on a sunbed in the early hours waiting to see some spectacular show of Shooting stars..........I think I saw 2 :-S :-S.I was in my nightie and my old dog Dodger was very confused. He came out and lay down on the grass beside me,wondering what the heck I was doing.

What are you JANE Thick or WHAT <3 <3 <3 <3
Talking of lying in the grass. One night we were at a friends (EIGHT OF US) for a dinner party. We were all sitting or lying on the lawn looking at the stars, with our drinks
Our Friends John and Caroline had just completed a very large pond in the Garden (with my help) That Saturday it had been filled with water. An old chap in the village kept bringing me DUCKS eggs, when I had the P.O. We were all sitting out on the lawn, and I had prearranged with Harvey to go into their garden, build a nest by the pond and put the eggs in it. I had already bought a decoy duck, and he put it on the nest. When we all went home about 1.00 am we had a phone call from Caroline, to come round to their house. It was only round the corner. How we kept a straight face I will never know. They had put the outside light on when they got home and there sat the duck !!!! He knew I had been in his company all evening, so couldn't blame me. A few weeks later. Tony a friend who was at the dinner party, tied a note to his gate "DUCK EGGS FOR SALE" It took him weeks to find out who did it. It got so bad his Mother said PEOPLE DON'T LIKE YOU DO THEY.!!!!
Just had my Indian. I tried the Indian fish curry. Bloo#y hell it was HOT HOT HOT. I am now sipping a large glass of RED to try to cool my mouth down :-D :-D :-D :-D Thats my excuse, and I'm sticking to it.

It's a good feeling when you can get rid of a bit of clutter David. We had a charity bag through the door this week, so I shall no doubt find a few bits and bobs for them!
For a few months I held the maximum amount in premium bonds and won a few £50 but never £100 and decided it was a poor return!! Now I don't have much in them at all. I don't think I won anything last year. Yes Mandy, a few more numbers in front and perhaps a few noughts at the end as well would be very nice!!
William you are right.......it was Clear Hooters at BEDWORTH not COVENTRY like I put and that was where FIL was cycling to from Hinckley. I think FIL was involved in the 'testing' of them and swears blind it is why he is a bit deaf now!! They made hooters for cars and lorries didn't they? I wonder if you could hear all the hooting and tooting as you walked by the factory? :-0
It will be nice to have a greenhouse Fiona. Lovely and warm in the spring when it is chilly outside. :-D You will be joining our tomato gluts before you know it!!
Mel, he may have been seeing stars, but I bet he wasn't speaking like the angels when he did it!! It is horrid when you do something like that though.....OH is always banging his head on my car roof when he gets in.
He went to the match this afternoon only to find they couldn't play as it was frozen too hard in front of one of the stands. He said the away team who had travelled from Luton were not happy bunnies and he didn't blame them. They usually make decisions whether the pitch is playable early enough so the away teams needn't set off. OH just went to another local match nearer to home and was frozen when he got back as the ground was very exposed.
Off to bed now.....I think that walk wore me out this morning as I keep yawning.
Night, night xx

Hi Denise,
After reading your post, I went and had a look, but didn't post anything. They seemed to be going over old ground and talking about past incidents. When they got into "shape shifters", that was enough for me, lol. I found this group very welcoming, but I was nervous at first. By the way, my name is Kim and I am from Oz. I love reading about everyone's life on here and what they do with their day as it is very different to my life. I enjoy seeing photos of the historic buildings and parkland and quite often I don't have a clue about some things mentioned, but I muddle my way through.
Hope everyone is feeling a bit better today. It has been dull and wet again and low temps. not like summer at all.
BBL when there is a bit more movement at the station. ;-) 8.12 pm DST
Saw the Italian story of the ship sinking, terrible sights and how frightening for all those people with no plan or idea of where to go in an emergency.

Morning All and Evening Kim,
Gosh I did laugh at Jane and Mandy going outside to see the astral display!!!! Still laughing now. I also laughed at oh when he came in a said it :-D
Oh I see we have lost our little father Christmas face, shame I liked him.
Oh off ringing for church so I am having a nice quiet cuppa.
Sun is shining and the sky is blue with lines of white clouds but the wind is still very cold.
I have'nt found out how to put the pics off my new camera into folders yet as oh has put it all on a different program that I am not familier (sp) with. He said he would hsow me later when he had time but the lathe arrived and he has'nt had time since then. Typical.......................
My new keyboard is loosing the letters on the keys already. He said they would be better being as they are offset. They are not.
