Popping in to say goodnight, Got a appointment at our local hospital tomorrow to see the Dr about my low white blood cells results, the blood tests were taken ages ago before my opp ,everything should be fine, as the doctors at the private hosp said there was no problems with the blood tests as they had received the same results from the local hospital too.

You know I bashed my shin yesterday????? :-(

Well I fell over by the bird feeder today when I was putting some fat I had just cut off the pork in our sarnies on the feeder. There is moss on the tarmac and I asked oh to clean it off last week because I slipped on it then too. This time I went down with an almight crash on one knee. Had to call oh as he was in the garage and he came and picked me up off the feeder where I was hanging by one hand with a very wet muddy foot andx knee.

Came in and he asked me if I had cut my knee. Lifted my trousers and there was a lovely graze just like when you were young and went down in the playground. Blood everywhere so I had to go and change my trousers and mop my grazed knee. Put a piece of kitchen roll on it and plastered it on with micropore. Still stings now but at least it is not next to my trousers. May have to put some plastic over it tonight as I don't want blood on my new sheets and quilt cover.

It was my right knee and the wack yesterday was on my left leg. :-S

Ann I have a whole tool box of my own. Lots of things missing that oh has used and not put back :-|

I have my own jig-saw and rechargable drill and leccy screwdriver. I love tools. Mum once bought me a very small, erm erm.......thing that you can take nails out with or open packing cases. ooohhhh what do you call the blimmin thing?????? Has a bend on one end and a flat end on the other.............Come on Frank what is it called??????? Anyway oh is always borrowing that. His...... no I won't type what I was going to, anyway it is bigger and more cumbersome and heavy. I use mine sometimes to get the ivy off the wall.

I will sleep on it, no not literally...........

Just read through quickly, but very pleased Mel that the work is finally done.

Have felt really off since my fatty feast, but the bile ducts are not blocked
which is very good. Waiting on blood results and don't see the doctor now until January, so I hope there will be no more attacks.

Pat thanks very much - I received your card yesterday.

Frank hope you have recovered from your fall a couple of days ago. Wish you would stop doing that. :-| :-|

Kim, I'm not surprised you feel a bit 'off' after that fatty meal, but good news there are no blockages.

Frank, I have bought some bead stuff off eb*y but not from the China sites yet as I have always needed the stuff within a week for the next lesson. Thanks for mentioning the cheap sites though as I could order some stuff now for when we start back in January and get it in time. I like my pennies to go further!! lol Congrats to Catie on her new baby. I often wonder how her poor brother is now too. I felt so sorry for him at the time.

Mel, are you trying to be legless before Xmas! Your poor legs must be in a right state now. Trouble with OH's is you ask them to do something and the answer is often 'tomorrow'. Tomorrow comes and mine has forgotten by then! I must confess I keep a 'secret' couple of screwdrivers hidden in a drawer so I always know where to find one!! lol He wasn't keen on me using his wire cutters and they were so heavy I have my own now for jewellery and I have my own pliers!! lol A small hammer will be the next thing so I am catching up Mel!! I have things like a small staple gun from doing the carriage upholstery! I am glad your panels are nearly done now. I suppose you have to wait to be switched on the national grid then. The soup was a brilliant idea for the chaps this weather. I bet they really appreciated it.

Off to do a few jobs now while OH is out shopping (xmas for me????? maybe). It is very cold here this morning.

Ann My daughter went though a stage when she made jewellery and had her own tool box... I type to a freind in the usa and have to look twice at certain words to make sure I spell them correct here like jewellery with 2 LL I did have a glass of red wine at linedancing I usualy just stick to water..
Mel hope your leg is better today..We have abig whatsit here that takes nails out of floor boards etc..It is bright red..I dont know the correct name either..

Mel you need to take more water with it ;-).I bet your poor knee will feel really stiff this morning after that bash.I remember occasions when I was young having scraped knees and no plaster and all the blood drying and getting stuck to the inside of the trousers :-S.Then the pain of Mum or Dad(usually Dad) trying to unstick it.Ouch Ouch Ouch!!!!

Ann I think I made that cake with the Poinsettia too :-D :-D That must have been a good 20 years or more ago.I do remember feeling rather proud of it.

IT'S A JEMMY the typw burgulars use. Hammer claw one end an d flat end the other. Used for opening crates and getting big nails out of planks.

Ros, had her own toolbox, she use to re-upholster furniture. Anything from a three piece suite, to antique chairs, including a chaise longue. But when we moved, they went eithir in the loft or sold. We don't have room for her to do it anymore.

She's getting ready to go to meet Jane at Beckwith, for lunch.

Knee very stiff today.

I was typing away and my keyboard batteries had run out looked up and only half of what I had typed was up there.

CROW BAR thats the name of it. One of the workman has just tolld me.

Electricians turned up this morning just after I had got out of bed. Thought I would have a layin this morning as I have been up early each morning for the last two weeks. They were supposed to come this afternoon from the phone call I had last night., It was originally Friday but as the chaps yesterday got all the panels up they came this morning BUT they have also sent to roofers to finish off the panels on the roof. So they are just sitting around doing nothing when someone somewhere is waiting for their panels to go up! Ludicrus (sp)

Oh has'nt done the moss and I just went outside the front door in my slippers and slipped a bit again!

Have the children broken up yet ??

Someone rang yesterday and ordered 6 posies!! She could'nt afford the wreathes as she wanted so many. I wired most of the stuff yesterday and only have the moss balls to make and 18 bows.

Now they have no inverter which is the thing that makes everything work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so we still will not be generating any leccy!!!!! :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-| :-|
