Thanks Fiona and Mel, Well, I'm back safely, whew!! getting onto the M4 was NEARLY a nightmare! but Ian dove slowly and I was able to follow him, so no risk of a wrong lane!! Ears now are fine, and I've been recommended to put oil in once a week, that should keep them clear, must try and remember!!! So glad that you are feeling better Fiona, and Kim, I do hope that you too are feeling a little better, as Frank says, you DO NOT want hospital over Xmas. The year Mark was born (Dec 22nd 1964) I was 'in' over that period (they kept you in for 10 days in those days!!!) and although family (in my case just Ian, as we were in Cornwall then) were able to come in all day, and the staff made a real effort, all credit to them,it still wasn't like home!!!

Hi .My ho s not been very well and had a few days in bed .I have just been to the warehouse and got some beers all on my own. There was a long line of people all foreign and Mr Sacki whoes a misrable man always with about six barrows of goods was moaning Oh deerie me my head is telling me I am getting a large bill. Mr Blakemore said stop moaning Sacki and Mr Sacki said I am calling you Mr Makemore not Blakemore
look at my bill from yesterday. I stood and stood while they argued and in the end said stick your beers and went to another warehouse. I was in and out in about 10 minutes. But no my luck does not change coming out a women blocked me from getting off the car park. I had to find her and she took ages moving her large white van. She backed it into a pile of boxes and sent them everywhere. I had to help pick them up or I would have been there a week

Arriving home I was confronted by Beryl who I let in and her new man He is called Larry which suits him because he is very lamb like . Well we were enjoying our second cup of coffee when Donnie arrived .Donnie had been to Beryls and her neighbour told him she was at our house and he came over. You can amagin the atmosphere and it was not long before Donnie said Beryl old girl I want to come back. Larry said very meekly Donnie I am with Beryl now we are an item. Donnie walked up to
Larry and said !! what grabbed him by the tie and said shes my wife and you can sling your hook mate or I will wrap you by your tie round the gatepost outside. I said please will you all go I have had enough today and Donnie said Sheila girl do not send me away I want my Beryl.
I was just about to say something when Jessie said Donnie you big pillock you have been gone for ages and left auntie Beryl and now you come back your nothing but a stinker. I said I have had enough please go. Well they went outside Beryl told Larry to drive the car he went to say something to Donnie who was shouting abuse and she said to Larry get in the car you stupid man and shut up. I had to laugh then he got in so meek and well lamb like. Oh that women I think she is crazy. I felt sorry for him he is sweet really. Well so was our Donnie Wonnie poor man.I wonder what he had done with the other women he had.

Donnie stood trying to protest his case why he wanted Beryl back and
then when he saw I was not listening he roared away on a bike that had seen better days and I am wondering where he went ,home,or to Beryls.
My ho said have you had a nice day so far . I was thinking of pouring the tea pot on his head but changed my mind.

Kim I had your Christmas card today that was nice and I posted you one a few days ago. Your Christmas food sounds lovely ,. I love duck and prawns myself. Sorry kim I think you said before you had not been on the beach it is my bad memory. I do hope your feeling well today .

Running bear love the name and read some lovely interesting threads.
My aol seem ok now so will send the pictures of Jessicas new home
on Rhode Island. I get the feeling she does not want to go I will go instead. Ryan would love that lol.

The jungle is so funny did you see that funny native grab Deck and take him away it cracked me up but did not like the bit where Fatima got that bug up her nose. Jess is swooning over the one guy and me Im really gone on the other with the large tattoo on his arm. Would like him to win. The other guys voice gets me going although I think he is lovely I think he is from Essex well my memory is terrible. Duggie talks really posh.

Fatima and the gay chap I hope go soon but they may win.

Amanda sorry you were flooded it must be awful its gone so chilly now here. The central heating is on all the while. Floods make everything so wet and horried.

It loved the Munsters and the Adam Family and remember Gordon Moores toothpaste was it . It came in a white box I thought it posh but hated tooth powder it used to fall out the tin all over you if you were not careful. My Mum used that blue stuff to make her washing white and it used to stand on the sink with a cloth on top of it and I once scooped it up
with dad shirts I was washing because my mum had gone into hospital and it stuck on dads shirt collar and had been there so long it would not come out so I scrubbed with a pumis stone and it fell in holes.

I was talking to a lady yesterday whoes mum was killed in the bombing of Bath during the war by a stray bullet during a very bad raid and said before I thought Coventry was bad but Bath was very bad.

My dad was my hero and I never went anywhere much with him. I envy people who had good times with there dad. He was always either ill or
busy. I keep dreaming of Jessica leaving and waving good bye.My nephews funeral was sad according to his sister who went for a coffee with Jessica being close to Donna when young shes got two girls Heidi and Annabelle and April was thrilled I think to meet them.

Anyone know why the Guy who managed Wales killed himself yet.Jessica was upset she met him once when with Mat. Now they are both dead.

I was reading about a lady who was mugged and she was carrying her husbands ashes who had died . There are some mean people around .

My face is healing now except for my lip I have a large bump to make me look even more ugly.

Will find another picture this one is getting on my nerves. Perhaps will go back to my photo with my dear brother. He swept over yesterday with another vintage car he had purchased where does he get the money he always reckons he does not have any.he left it on the front and it caused some stir people admiring it. It was a little Austin painted bright canary yellow.

Sheila ,that must have been quite a job to go to C&Carry on your own.Do you get help loading your car.I hope your OH is on the mend now.
I would have loved have been a fly on your wall ...with Donny kicking off and yanking poor Larry by his tie.Donnie quite rightly deserved to be sent off with a flea in his ear :-S

Mandy ,I'm watching your Lady from Norfolk on Come Dine ;-) ;-).She sounds great :-D.I think you would like her food.Cromer Crab, fish and chips.

I just managed to order something online with no help from James :-D :-D.That must be a first ,and good thing too as I was ordering something for him.

Hannah will be home on Xmas Eve with Sarah the Australian girl who came to us last year. She must really miss her family at this time of year.

Evening everyone,

Frosty start here this morning , but it's been lovely and sunny all day .

Had lots of little jobs to get done today ,one of them was putting some of those little felt rounds on the bottom of the chair legs ,now the floor has been tiled i didn't want the chair legs to scrape the tiles ,i couldn't do the table legs as it's to heavy to move ,so will get hubby to do them tomorrow.

Also went to the market ,bought one of those stalks of sprouts ,will keep it in the shed and just take some off as i want them .
Put our prescriptions in to the doctors and went to the health shop and got hubby his tablets ,they are Glucosamine, Ginger and Rose Hip , he swears by them ,and knows when he hasn't had them ,he says they really help his joints.

Shirl, many thanks for your Christmas card it came this morning , have you had any more snow ?

Kim, sorry to hear your not to good , fingers crossed you soon get over all these nasty things ,and that you don't have to go into hospital again <3

Mel, your chickens are not daft ,finding a way to get out ,the little monkey, bet you are in her bad books stopping her free roam!!
Frank!!!! how can you even mention Mel eating her babies !!! naughty boy :-S
Sheila, glad to hear that your face is healing ,hope your OH soon feels better , do you have to do the shop on your own ? or do you have some help ?
Poor Donnie,he wants his wife back now his lady friend has left him !!! sounds as if Beryl is the boss with her men !!

Yes Jane i saw Come Dine tonight ,wus good wunt tut LOL she told them what she thought of them didn't she !!

Our birthdays seem to be spread out well really ,next Wednesday little Katie will be two !! must remember to buy some birthday paper for her presents.

Ann, loved the necklace with the buttons ,they are just getting better and better ,carn't wait to see the bracelet . hope your backs feeling better today .

Mandy I need some little felt things to stick on the bottom of some glass tea light holders to stop heat going through the bottom.Where can I get them????

I really liked that lady, and thought her evening was great. What a shame she came last. She was just so down to earth and natural.Just my kind of person.

Chris is driving tomorrow :-S :-S :-S.It will be fine until we come off the Motor way and then it'll get stressy.I can see the air becoming blue as I try and direct and he is too slow .He will be checking the route tonight :-| :-|

Tracey,

The earliest singers of that song that spring to mind are,Billy Ekstine and Nat King Cole, although there were many others.

Did Cole write his own songs I wonder?

Annx Report 2 Dec 2011 20:17

Evening All,

Mandy, my back has been a lot better thanks, just a bit sore now, but I'm being careful. OH woke up with a stiff neck this morning so he was like someone in a suit of armour trying to turn his head in the car at road junctions today!! He's on the painkillers now!! lol Glad your pipes are back in working order again and hope you have got your conservatory straight. Mine needs a sort out as that is where the xmas decoration boxes are kept over xmas.

Sheila, whatever next with D & B! It is a long time since any men scrapped over me!! lol :-) I hope your OH is soon better as there is a lot for you to do on your own. I hope your poor lip soon heals too.......so you can get your lippie on for 'puckering up' under the mistletoe! lol :-D :-D

Poor little Sofia, but those are good ideas to keep her occupied Fiona. As you say, after a short while she'll be too busy enjoying herself to fret.

Liz, I bet things sound much louder now!! At least now you have your car at home you will be able to get used to it pottering around locally. Any change of car is a bit strange at first anyway till you get used to it. It must be nice to get your freedom back......I would hate not to have mine.

Kim, I feel so sorry for the rough time you are having and hope they can sort these 'nasty things' for you soon. It must be quite frustrating not to be able to do things you could once. At least the internet helps you keep in touch with things....and us! :-D :-D

When mum and dad had chickens the wire netting was 6 foot high, but they still got out until their wings were clipped. It probably didn't help that I used to let them out on the orchard bit at the bottom of the garden.......they knew what they were missing.

I like your new pic Pat, we are gradually growing up in our pics!!

I remember that song well Shirl.....nice tune too.

Hope you have a good day tomorrow Jane and can keep Chris 'on track'. I bet Hannah will be pleased to get her new bookcase and the goodies.

Frank I didn't realise you were a twin! Does that mean SOMEONE will have a birthday soon??:-D :-D :-D

I'm off to watch Garrow's Law I recorded last week now. I'm always worried I'll delete it by mistake when we don't watch something within a day or two........OH would not be a happy bunny!
