Oh silly me, The Royal Prince Alfred Hospital is in Sydney at Camperdown Frank. I had my appendix out there when I was four. Do you get the tv show RPA in UK? Well that is the same hospital.

MORNING ALL,
I thought it strange KIM, to call a programme Hostpial Sydney. if it was in Melbourne :-S :-S :-S

Very cold wind out there this morning, The little hampster (ROS) is still tucked up in her bed. She will stay up half the nights watching her programmes, at least while she's asleep she's not in any discomfort.

Ann, you do make me smile, the Door bell thingy was brilliant. I bought one on Ebay from China. only a couple of quid and free posting. It's wireless and we have it on the small table. Very loud it is too. We can take it into the garden also, so you always know that someones at the door. I can just imagine someone walking passed you MIL house and seeing you BARKING through the letter box, I'm smiling as I type this :-) :-)

I was awake at 6 am. laid for an hour, then got up had my shower, and two cups of tea. Ready for a BACON sarnie now. So will sign off.

With the man coming last week about the panels I have two weeks papers to pick up today as I did'nt go down for them.

Still getting on ok with my electric ciggy but not puffing it so much now. Still haveing a couple of REAL ones during the day though.

Hope the sale goes well at the scouts hut today Frank. Good luck with the scarves Ros!! :-D

I have noticed that the numbers at the top of the page have turned into rectangles again. They were oval in the week.

Still having trouble getting on here in the mornings and during the day. Keep getting the pink Error message and sometimes a beige warning not to read a message.

Morning Frank and everyone.
It does look fresh out there.Chris is just getting ready to do the walk.I don't think I will suggest that Chester wears his new coat,as I know what the answer will be ;-)

Woof Woof ! Ann :-D :-D.I think the thought of you barking has given us all a fit of the giggles.

I hope Pat wraps up warm if she is going to traipsing along the beach today.

I am off to Asd* to see if there any more of the Red Wine I got the other day.(Not because it has been drunk) well Chris had 1 bottle ,but because he said it was really good and at the price of £3.56 a bottle 'tis a bargain.

Enjoy that Bacon Sarnie Frank.......BBL

Hi Mel.My numbers are round.

Frank

Frank Report 26 Nov 2011 10:38

Mine are oblong

MEgirl

MEgirl Report 26 Nov 2011 11:01

Mine are never any different - rectangle. Yes Mel, have been getting the pink error message when I sign in and then it takes me ages to get to the last page.

Our young friends popped over to see us today and brought me some pink lillies - really cheered me up. They have picked out a puppy which they are going to get next week, part mini foxi/part chihua (sp). I will have to send a photo. She looks a cute, wee thing. Calling her Jezzie.

Rain stopped for a while and I managed to get some washing done with help from hubbie. Joel is out tonight - had some bad news today as one of their friends was electrocuted in Bali whilst over there on an end of school trip. Lots of roadworks going on over there and he tried to walk around it and grabbed a metal pole whilst falling against a meter box. It might have been on your news, not sure how much you see over there from our end of the world. So sad and now the parents have to go over and bring his body back, only 18 and starting life. Daughter is at boyfriend's house so it is very peaceful here.

Off to the couch now, so have a lovely day everyone.

Walked with Millie to the village this am to collect Milk and Papers. The Post Office has taken over the old School Rooms over the road from where they were, and turned it into a mini Super Market which is absolutely brilliant! Had a good walk round there, and the village, (on my own - Hooray!) and chatted to a lot of people, I think Millie was the draw!! Have made Steak and Kidney for supper, only need to make dumplings and all is ready, another HOORAY! Quite windy here but dry. Hope you are all well and happy!

Jane Report 26 Nov 2011 13:15

Oh Kim ,that is terrible news.My heart goes out to the boy's parents. How awful for his friends on the trip too.

On a lighter note ,can't wait to see a pic of your friends new pup.

Also waiting to hear how much is raised today with Ros's Scarves and everything else at the opening of the New Scout Hut.

Well how disappointing was my trip to Asd*.None of that wine on the shelf :-S,and none out the back of the store :-S..BUT I did get some other s :-D :-D

Sheila Report 26 Nov 2011 13:24

Well I have just sent my wreath for my nephews funeral Monday.
What a dreadful day for my sister in law her husband now her son.

I had my first Christmas card today from Australia from my Nephew people in Australia must send them early proberly because they have to come a long way or something.I have not thought about sending my
cards I have so many to send it takes me a week of none stop writing and posting. I do not have Kims address hope your ok Kim thinking of you always. My sons done something to my sky and I cannot get on aol at the moment .

Pat how awful to loose a child at Christmas time. Christmas should be a happy time and with that hanging over you it must be difficult. I think of Matt
and my dear old auntie so deaf but a lovable soul when I went to see her.
I got into trouble from the family staying away so long but someone had to
help her.

Jane the man with the green Weetabix what a hoot he bought it into the shop today it was the ordinary big square Weetabix and a dingy brown colour with a slight green tinge proberly that shop up by us had it in for
years. I once paid it a visit for some table salt and it was solid. No said the shop keeper not our salt .The man opened a packet and some other packets were solid also. The shopkeeper had just taken over the shop and stock. April heard me telling Leslie the factory was near to you and I said they do chocolate Weetabix so we had to go to the supermarket and buy some.

I love snow when it is fresh .I love top see the children with snow boards
over the park thats the benifit of living oposite a park and it looks so beautiful with the church and covent surrounding it. The hospice garden
backs on to the park and they have a huge Christmas tree lit up and I can see it from my bedroom window at night. Not much else going for this area. More fighting last night outside our shop. My ho had to close the shop early and chase six teenagers off the wall who were swearing and making a dreadful noise.

I have my cottage picked out to retire to .Its called The Glades and sits like a little piece of cake in the county side in the Hollywood area not the States . Its got roses all up the front in summer and cute and little not like this big rambling place with the four bedrooms and celler which is massive damp and cold. I have to hose it out and my feet get wet and cold. I share it with a few frogs in summer which come down an old coal hole. We tried blocking it off but the celler gets smelly so left it open we had to have a kind of area to stop the rain flooding us out. Mohsen wont go in the celler.he hates it. Full mostly of kids unwanted toys, keyboards old playstations and everykind of bottle that are different from most my ho collects them.
If he passes away before me I shall have to move the lot. I hope we leave here before it gets to that.
Jane is your sister ill. I have glanced quickly at the pages on here before my computor goes off the reception is dreadful .

My favourite person on in the jungle is the Australian girl shes cool and I loved Stephenie she was nice and hate that gay guy out of Coronation street and that guy who thinks he is gods gift to women . Jess swoons
everytime he flexes a muscle. I like the young pop star with the tatooes all over his arms. I like Lorrain also She reminds me of my friend JoJo I had in London from Penge. I remember being ill once and would not get out of bed and she came and said Er what ya doing in bed gal get up and shift your ass .I laughed so much but it did the trick. I wonder where she now we lost touch. Well must go Mat junior needs his nappy changing my unfavourite job.

Got the pics Kim.Oooooh, they are so sweet.

Hi Liz.How nice for you to be able to walk to your new Mini Mart .I bet you will meet lots of people there.
Chris would kill for some of your Home Made Steak and Kidney.Unfortunately he never gets that here :-S.I don't do Kidney :-P

Bright and Breezy here. But I think I will get on with my cards again instead of clearing more leaves.

One day I am going to type the perfect thread my light in my computor room just went ping and the bulb went also and its so dark today can someone tell me how you get it from shooting up a line or so. well perhaps not Im lucky if someone answers me I should pack in next April I signed in for a year accidently cost me a fortune and well would not be missed .my ho laughs at my threads.

Jane Report 26 Nov 2011 13:46

Sheila ,I'm not sure If I said how sorry I was to hear of your Nephews death.Such a sad time for your SIL now.

I must get some Weetabix again.Hannah used to love it ,but since she has moved to London I don't get it.Sometimes the smell from the factory is very strong.Usually when rain is on the way.It is not an unpleasant smell, just a bit sickly.
No my Sister isn't ill .But she needs a total Knee replacement. She is only 52 ! She is never one to complain ,but it obviously got so bad she had to get it seen. The consultant said he hasn't seen a knee in such a state in someone as young .Trust Janice lol.She is really not looking forward to having it done as she always is on the go and never sits still.

I can't even be bothered to go for a pint, and watch football. I'm just sat watching "LAST OF THE SUMMER WINE" It's the only chance I get when Ros is out. Also Del Boy Trotter. and Dad's Army. I don't think you can beat the oldies.

What a lovely little puppy Kim. Makes you want to go out and get one.!!!

The old cat has had a couple of off days, not been eating, and sleeping all day on hir arm of the chair. I opened a tin of sardines this morning, he's eaten some of that, and Whiska# milk. on his 2nd pot. Looks a bit brighter today.

What a horrible dull windy day today :-| :-| :-| I won't be moving from the sofa. Tonight it will be a delivery of either Chinese or Indian.

Afternoon everyone,

Feels a bit colder today ,i suppose its the wind ,we have had quite a blow ,wish i had put my washing out now.

Ann, i had to giggle at the barking !! Mum and Dad had a bell like Franks ,they are very good and loud !!

Kim, that poor boy ,what terrible news for his family .
Loved the little puppies, they are so cute .

Hubby has started to lay the tiles in on the conservatory floor ,he's laid one end where we had the carpet ,but now he's trying to get the cushion flooring up to lay that end , what a job !!! it's all stuck down tight , the top peels off then the under part is coming off in small pieces :-S :-S :-S
He's not very happy ,he was hoping to get all the tiles laid today and grout up tomorrow.
Better make him a cuppa.

We watch 'Last of the Summer Wine, Dads Army' and a lot of the oldies Frank. They always make us laugh and cheer us up, particularly Dad's Army!! mind you Howard and Marina and the dreaded Pearl always raise a smile, A lot of those Actors are dead now and no-one much to take their place. Thora Hird was brilliant, I just love her as the gormless Barry's MIL. Have just watched 'Question Time'! Chris Huhne in a bit of a spot! I think the Lib/Dems,who never expected to be in government, have rather met their Waterloo over many issues espcially 'Green' ones! reality being oh so different from reteric!!! Am now going to see to those dumplings!!!

I like Last of the Summer Wine too, has anyone seen First of the Summer wine ? i got the DVD for my BIL for Christmas ,in it Peter Sallis plays the father of a young Clegg.

Got two Christmas cakes made and they are now in the oven, it's beginning to smell like Christmas :-)

I think the wind has got up even more now , Toby's hearing noises and keeps giving a whoof!!
