Sorry Fiona, didn't see you there. Glad you had a good report from the doctor. I do remember wearing those medical stockings after my op. lol. Keith had to wear them when he had his hernia operation last year. I said it will be for 6 weeks. I tell you women definitely cope better than men do.
I will rest and thanks very much. You take care too.

Great news Fiona, Now you can start spoiling yourself, and get some weight back on. I would have thought getting those stockings off would have been "FREEDOM AT LAST"
I am completely Buggered. Ros has been harping on about all the leaves again all over the gravel at the bottom of the garden and the lawn. So to keep the peace I have been out there for nearly two hours, raking up the leaves, and hooking loads of rubbish out of the pond. Then got the sucker thing out and did the boarders. I won't say "not a leaf in sight" but pretty close to it. The Cherry tree is completely bare now, so no more from her. The tree and Ros :-D :-D :-D :-D NO I DIDN'T SAY THAT.!!
Kim, It's strange that the programme is called "hospital Sydney" if it's in Melbourne :-S :-S :-S Perhaps there's another Alfred Hospital in Sydney. ???
Ros has popped to Morris### to get the weekend bits, as she won't be able to go tomorrow. She has 14 scarves ready for sale tomorrow, so lets hope they all sell.

I have had the electrician man here today looking at where pour leccy box is and he will have to put in another small one for the solar panels and then one that shows us what we are clocking up for the leccy board.
The scafolders will have the scaffolding up by the 2nd Dec and the panels are going up on 5th Dec.
Today I have cleaned out the whole kitchen and boiler cupnoard as he wanted to see in there and hoovered through and cleaned the chickens out and gone and got stuff for the advent ring and wired some of the stuff up ready to put it all together tomorrow.
I think I have just about earned my crumpet and tea now so I am here at the pooter for a rest...................

Fiona what good news from the hosp. and you really must be pleased to get rid of those stockings!!
Frank wish Ros luck for tomorrows opening and sale for the scouts. Hope she sells all the scarves. Good too that you found those stamps.
Shirl I don't ring anymore since I renched the muscle in my back. I chime the bells for weddings at our local church just up the road as I don't have to put the bell up or bring it down. Bringing it down and pulling it in without bending my arm was why I strained the muscle away from the bone. The bell I was ringing weighed 4cwt.

The work wev'e had done on bungalow has taken a lot longer to finish than E anticipated and its of "questionable" standard. We made the mistake of paying before the job was finished, which slowed him still further.
Also we have a lot of stull ie effects. Even after having donated a lot it is still "cramped" Must give away more.
Ellens knees having been paining her for months and her Doctor has taken her off the Diclafenic because of concerns about her BP
All this and feeling she chose the wrong bungalow are behind E's dips.

Hi Everyone,
Thank goodness we know what happened to the stamps! Lol. It is so easily done though. I hope you didn't give her a tongue lashing Frank as you will only wish you hadn't next time YOU lose something!!! Lol :-D :-D
I think I would have had to get those socks off before I left the hospital Fiona.........with scissors if necessary!! I bet your legs feel lovely without them now.
I don't mind the occasional, well cooked slice of black pudding and OH likes it at times.........I might pass on the pickled herring though Shirl! :-S
Yes, I was out doing jewellery class this morning.........the teacher said we'd probably hate her by the time we'd done today as it was so 'fiddly' and that last night's class got in a right mess!! She was right.......you could have heard a pin drop once we got going and coffee and biccy revivers were needed. I still have a little bit to do on today's necklace, so I'll finish it before I send a pic. I didn't like the coil bracelets we did last week, just not my 'thing' and very plain and I think will stretch easily. I'll send you pics of it and of the brooch I made.

My sister did the dreaded souced herrings, when at school. She was sitting on the bus coming home when it braked, and the whole B##### lot went in her lap. My, did she stink.
Have been in my dressing gown since I had my shower after doing the leaves.. I ache like you wouldn't believe.
Couldn't be botherted with cooking again tonight so had a couple of corned beef and pickle rolls. Won't do me any harm, We eat to much.
That wind is getting cold tonight, and it looks like the North West is going to get a hammering.
Going to look round Ebay.

My word, how busy you have all been on the home front!! All I did today was my class, then a senior carvery, then a mooch around a garden centre, and visited FIL and MIL.
Last week when we visited MIL, the doorbell didn't appear to be working, but they do have the telly very loud anyway so we thought they just hadn't heard. In the end, OH had to ring them on his mobile on the doorstep!! Anyway, FIL said they'd fitted a new doorbell with lots of sound choices, including the sound of a barking dog, but obviously something was wrong with it. We said take it back to the shop, but, as usual they had thrown the receipt away. :-S This week when we rang it we couldn't hear any sound again. I turned to OH and said, 'ok, which one of us is going to bark through the letterbox?' :-D :-D Eventually after a few tries, we got a few feeble ding, dong noises and they heard it. Apparently this was yet another new bell, but it needs adjusting. They are now going to get yet another and rig up 2 bells, one in the hall and one in their lounge, so I told OH we'd better wear ear defenders next time we go as it could sound like Quasimodo let loose in Notre Dame!!!!.
