Oh dear David, what is there not to like about the new place, all fitted out how she wants and with NO stairs to clean or climb? It isn't far from where you lived before is it. What is it that bothers her and can it be changed? :-S

Over the years I have managed to dissuade OH from having Twi*lets......I can't stand him breathing marm*tey breath all over me!!! lol He still has his usual mini ched*ars and this year his cheese fo*tballs which I couldn't get last year. They are in a big box with other stuff (not much yet!) in the conservatory.

I went to the farm and ordered the Turkey today, so feel a bit more christmassy now. I was glad they had filled some of the potholes in in their long drive!! I also got some foil containers to do the stuffing and pigs in blankets in........was so chuffed I'd remembered I needed some until I went to put them in the cupboard........already a new pack there!! :-S

Thanks for your good wishes, still some pain and I can't eat. Was determined not to go to hospital for fear of what they might do to me. My doctor rang me last night at 9 and said if I was feverish or slow pulse to go straight there as the Lipase would be travelling through my bowel. I thought I was doing ok today until I started to walk around and then the pain and nausea hit again.

Will catch up with all your posts later, need to rest. Glad the cards turned up, but I didn't think it would be so soon :-S

Cold and wet here for last 4 days. It might fine up tomorrow, but then rain predicted for Sunday. Can't fathom what season Nature believes we're in. Have a good day all.

Our reader rang yesterday to see if I would do the advent ring for this Sunday. Of course I said yes. So thats another job for me before I get on with the uti room. At least I can get in there now. I hae had the ironing board up in the spare bedroom which we use as a dressing room.

MORNING ALL,

Let's get the stamp saga out of the way, I can't keep you in SUSPENDERS any longer.

Ros. had to get two presents wrapped for friends who go to Teneriffe next week, and won't be back till after Christmas. She had bought a lot of ribbon on those little drums, to put round the presents. They were put in the conservatory on the bed chair. The stamps had been put with them !!! they had slipped down the side of the chair, and were in the folds of the cover :-0 :-0 :-0. You don't want to know what I said.

Yesterday morning I posted about 10 am pressed the submit and got an error notice come up, to say I had no Web connection.. After trying all day and also phoning Conrad, I still couldnt't get connected. In desperation I phoned my nice neighbour who works in computers. He came round about 6.45pm It turned out that while typing I caught the wirless connection button and dissconnected the hub. What a NUMPTY I AM. The key is just above the No.2 on my keyboard. So I will have to watch it in future. After he had gone I thought I would post again, after about 20 minutes It just dissapeared from thre screen. Thats why I only said a few words last night.

Sorry Kim is not well again, Please my love take care and rest as much as possible, we don't want you in hospital over Christmas. Ros and I were watching "HOSPITAL SYDNEY" it's called, I think "THE ALFRED" do you know it ??? It seems to be one ot the top hospitals in Australia. It's on late over here 11 pm. Just as I am off to bed. Ros will sit till 1.00 am watching operations/QVC and the jewellry programmes.

Nice bright Autumn day here. Did I say about my "DOVES" ??? here goes again anyway. Now all the leaves
are off the cherry tree, I can see a nest from the spring time. I didn't know they were there. I did find an egg shell by the pond, but took no notice. I see this morning, they are both sitting on the branch near the nest. So they might be tidying it up for Spring. If they do that sort of thing.

I was going to the Crematorium yesterday, to see off an old chap I use to have a drink with up the club. But Ros was sick for most of the day. She has started some new tablets, so that could be upsetting her.

We didn't cook last night, neither of us felt hungry. Ros, is a lot better this morning, I can hear the mixer going, so she might well be making cakes, for tomorrows grand opening of the Scout hut. 2/4 pm. Then there will be all the fitting out. They are also having a sale, so more funds should come in.

Kim, Have just received your Christmas card. Thanks. Any sign of mine yet.???

Liz, I didn't realise you were so far from a neighbour. At least with the milk lorry and postman going by, they will see if you need anything if the bad weather comes in winter.

All over and done with at the hospital for good, Surgeon was very happy with my progress and said it could take a few months before I get back to normal , may be a while before I start putting on wieght, but I will build up my energy. I have to start looking ahead and put all this behind me.

Well Frank, glad that mystery is solved. I am looking out for the postie. Honestly, I didn't think those cards would get over there so quickly. Only posted them on Monday!!!! Sorry to hear you lost an old friend Frank and that Ros is not too well. I hope she picks up soon. These medications can be so troublesome. I had a dove on my fence this morning. It was so pretty, we don't see too many here as the Indian Myna birds are really aggressive and chase them away.

The Alfred Hospital is in Melbourne down St. Kilda Road and into Commercial Road where I used to work; my first temp. job in Victoria back in 1983. It is one of Victoria's top hospitals and my West Indian brother in law died there in 1999 from brain tumours. It is a huge place, probably run down these days, but much better than our local hospitals up here in N.S.W.

Watching Jane Eyre at the moment, but had to have a quick break. My computer has been playing up - internet connection is fine, but the computer keeps disconnecting itself. Problem been happening for about two weeks now. I can reconnect it myself, but it happens about every 10 minutes. Never seen the likes of it before. All the other computers (laptops) are fine and not having this problem. This old thing is probably on the way out (the computer I was talking about).

Joel won't be happy with all this rain - it means no cricket tomorrow. He is at Terrigal tonight doing the sound and setup for The Peter Beck Band. You will have to Google them.
