Afternoon All,

What a day yesterday.

Conrad rang to say they they would be here for midday. So thought I would get 1.30 lunch. At 12.45 he rang to say they had the web back and they would work for a few hours up there. and come to us for 4.30pm. I already had the meat in the oven when he rang. So turned that off. and started again at 3.pm When they arrived, we had dinner. Then they were on their computers till they left at 8.30pm So didn't have a lot of chat. He searched for the stamps also, WITHOUT LUCK. So now everytime I go pass the sideboard or table I lift thing up to make sure I haven't missed them.

When the Web went down the other day around where he lived. He jumped in the car and drove round to the place, where it goes missing. There were a dozen or so cars there, all with the same object in mind. (To try to find the culprits) It seems, They are going to about 4/5 sites and cutting the cable, then going back at some ungodly hour to collect their ilgotten gains. It's a well organised gang, to be doing ther roungs like this, and they are taking several yards of cable at a time.

Still looking for new home insurance quotes. I have one from Direct Li## that is £90.00 cheaper then my existing insurers. So it looks like they will be getting my business, if I don't find something cheaper. I will definatley go with the cheapest, as most are underwritten by the big three of four companies. Evenen someone like Kwic# Fit is inderwritten by AX#.

Ros has been busy knitting, the scarves are all hung over a chair back, waiting for collection. She will be doing two more today, to use up the wool she got on Friday.

Trust you are all well.

Just been to the doctors and had my tablets renewed , what a palver, they are having some thing done to the computers ,changing over to another system or some thing , so every things in a right muddle.

Still no stamps Frank !! you say Ros showed them to you, did she put them with the Christmas cards ? did she buy anything else that day ,like a Christmas present ,could they be in a carrier bag with some thing .
I feel like Miss Marples :-D :-D

Should be going shopping with DIL in the morning ,but she's been feeling a bit sick mornings so we'll have to see how she feels .

I had a good sort out in the kitchen cupboards this afternoon , washed a lot of glasses that were very dusty and sorted out my cookery books ,i have a pile to go to the charity shop some time .

Feels cooler tonight , was 6 degrees when we now went out in the car .

Morning All,

Dull and dreary here today.

Went out early yesterday and then did the shopping afterwards. Was going to do a quick shop and I was at the deli counter when someone grabbed my arm. I turned round to see a lady that was one of mums friends from the nearby village who moved to Northam a few years ago to be nearer her granchildren. Can she talk. She siad to me she had left her hubby asleep so she could'nt stop long. I just could'nt get away from her she just talked and talked and we must have been there about 20 mins at least. That did it I was now late. When I got home it was just about dark. I was just worn out. Did'nt get back on here yesterday.

Frank I cannot open the pm you sent me!! It has a warning on it!!

Mel Mum was born in Northam.I wonder if that Lady you were talking to who has moved there knew my Aunty Joyce?(she lived at Dolphin Court)
Mucky morning today but really mild again.

Shirl. That programme is called Get me out of Here.It is a bunch of celebrities who are in the jungle in Australia and they are given allsorts of trials and tasks to do.So of it is eating the most dreadful bugs and insects and naughty bits of Kangaroos etc.The public vote for who does the next trial and .One by one they will be voted out until you get the King or Queen of the Jungle.
