It's not that thick here now ,in fact the sun is now shining !!

Meant to ask Jane , how's Chester now ?all healed up ok ? is his hair now growing back all prickly !!

It's on a day like this when i'd love an open fire ,we were only talking about that this morning when son and DIL were here, hubby wants a Wood Burner ,i'am not so keen i like to see the flames and with a Wood burner there's the glass to keep cleaning .
We never use the gas fire that we have in ,we only had it put in in case the electric went off ,just so that we would have some heat , i think we've only used it about four times !! don't half run away with the gas !!!

Well in that short time it took me to type this the sun has gone and the fogs come down !!!

Mandy .I can't even see the garden now :-S.It is really bad.
Chester is fine.Everything has healed nicely but I think he is itchy with all the new hair growth.He keeps rolling on the carpet and rubbing his back up and down along the edge of the settee.
Just lit the fire and it is blazing away.Just need to get some logs in now.So all cosy now for the rest of the day.
I can't even see the Patio!!!!!!..It's looking very spooky out there.

Really thick out there now , glad we don't have to go out any where, would be really bad having to driving in it now it's dark!!

Looks like we've all got fog and it's really cold, I thought it was supposed to be about 15 degrees today.

Have been at the house this weekend painting the fence and doing odd jobs. Son wanted a lot of stuff moved as he's laying the flooring, I was moving it when I dropped a pack and didn't quite get my foot out of the way and it landed on my little toe. You should see it today, looks like a little fat chippolata and it's all bruised and very painful, honestly, I think he forgets how old I am, so do I come to that......lol

You should get your self a pair of steel toecap boots for the work you are doing on the house.

Oh has been working in the garage making a pair of doors for it. I thought we did'nt need all the wood he got me to oeder for the roof. I paid for it too. :-(

I did a bit of clearing in my shed today. I was actually looking for the rat bait but I did'nt find it.

By the way we have had a beautiful day today and the sunset tonight was the lovelyest I have seen for a long while. It started misty and dull but soon brightened up.

Yes you're right Mel. Now I know why Health & Safety insist on those steel toecaps for anyone working on sites. I didn't have any shoes on at all as I'd been out in the garden and trodden in cat poo so I was only in socks.... ouch .....

I'm being a right little piggy today, have opened a packet of crisps to have with my bacardi and coke, oh well, you've got to indulge yourself sometimes and it is diet coke ....lol

We have ribeye steaks tonight and I shall open a nice bottle of red if I can remember where I put it!! It's a Hardys Crest my favorite.

Just had a bath and cut my toe nails before getting dressed.

Cut the third toe on my left foot far too short,got it bleeding.
There's a first.

All the brassware handles have today been fitted to all the internal doors.

Just watching the rest of the XF and then I will be hitting the sack.

My Sister rand earlier.She went for an MRI on Friday on her knee,but the consultant said there was no point in having the scan as he could see from the XRay she had already had done that it is the worst knee he has ever seen in someone her age :-S :-S :-S.She needs a total replacement with some kind of reconstruction .He said he could do it in a fortnight ,but she wants to wait until after Xmas as it will be 12 weeks recovery !!Poor girl.

Oh Dear Maureen & David with sore toes , take care both of you.

We had a birthday cake tonight for daughter no 1 she will be 31 on Wednesday, but most of the family will be working on that day, she will be coming to visit me on Wednesday so I will give her her card & present then.

Just ordered a pink back pack on line for Sofia with her name on it for christmas, she then can carry all her toys around in it , also will be ideal for holidays next year, Sofia & her mum & dad plus SIL parents have booked up to go to Canada next September to visit elderly relatives it's been a long time since they saw SIL parents and everyone thinks it will probably be last time they will be able to be together, it will be nice for them as it will also be Sofia's 3rd birthday too,

I am going to bed soon as I am beginning to feel sleepy. will watch a bit of Tv then i'm off

Must tell you this though.

Sitting haveing dinner the other night I commented on the skin spots on oh's hands and said I have'nt noticed that he had them before. " They are freckles " he said. I said they were'nt and that they were age spots and I have them on my hands and forearms. "they are not age spots" he says "they are death spots"!!!!!!!Honestly you could'nt take him anywhere!!!!

I have a couple of those 'FRECKLES on my hands but also have a couple on the side of my face near my eyes.I hate them.If I am going somewhere special I do try and cover them a bit (if I remember).

I need to get off to the bank now so will just have a quick coffee and ponder on what to have for dinner tonight :-S

Much cooler here today and rain, we needed it. Had an email from one of my old teachers from Canada. She said it was -18 in Nova Scotia, brrrrrrrr - do your UK temps. get that low?????

All these OHs have a great sense of humour, including Frank. They need to collaborate and write a book of one liners. My hubby is very humorous when he wants to be.

Sorry to hear about your sister Jane. She must be in great pain. I hope it goes well for her after Christmas.

Sorry Jane did not see you there. We call them sun spots out here. Keith has had a few frozen off by the doctor as they looked a bit iffy.

Morning All

I have quite a few of those "age spots" I have one on each cheek and have to use concealer then foundation to cover them up when going out, I also have them on my back those ones have a crusty skin on them, I have had them checked at the doctors but were told there is no problems.

I started wrapping up a few Christmas presents this morning good to see them done and put away till needed.

Kim , I am tired this morning but happy that I managed to get to the shops over the weekend, feels good to get out of the house, OH will be going to Barcelona on Tues-Thurs , so I probably won't be going shopping, unless someone offers me a lift in the car. don't think I have enough energy to walk into town just yet,

Very foggy and damp here.Have put the cleaner round all the rooms..May do some dusting when I get in from work..We are full staffed at work now..So hopefully wont be breaking a gut to get finished...

Washing still drying from yesterday but at least not all that needs ironing lol.

Put some violas out in some tubs yesterday...they seem so small compared to pansies..But the lot I had seen in the shops were half dead because of the weather we had been having..well that was what the man said..
Do you know I not even dressed yet..got my work done first just had a late brekkie.Had acup of tea and a read in bed first thing didnt sleep to wellhusband and I both dist urb each other...Had to get out at 3 like we all do from time to time and the birds were whistling..
