Just of to bed for a read.
The planter came in kit form, loads of bits of wood with slots in. Harvey bought it for a present. I put it togrether. Ros plants it out with purtuna's in the summer and pansies in Winter. When I next speak to Harvey I will ask where he got it.
My back and shoulders ache tonight. This is the time I wish I had a BATH. Where you can lay back in hot water.
Goodnight all

Washing has gone out on the line, hopefully it will dry.
Thanks for the info on the planter Frank.

Morning All..The sun is just comming out,,,Still mist over the Hills and airport way...
I cant read in the bath.. my legs are short and I cant lay back...
Fiona...my bras are now the wrong size too..some are better than others..just being carefull what I wear over the top...
I hope that is the last of my fish dying..The last Ghost Carp we still have came swimming up yesterday for food...I have been trying to look out for him...but he prefers to be near the bottom of the pond... The snails we have in there seem to be producing...
I like you planter Frank..Our pond have to be fitted together as well..
I remember twizzle as well. My daughter got a Blue Peter badge when about 8 for sending a painting in to be shown...I wonder where it is now !!! I remember sending in a story or some news to Bunty who I used to read.. Which comic had the cut out dolls on the back..Does anyone remember Kel*logs giving out red plastic bandsman.? Hope everyone has abetter day today and aches and pains are not so bad,

Morning All Thank's Mel for the email. I have just watched Twizzle on Youtube !.I felt like a little girl again lol.The woman's voice is hilarious .She sounds like the one who did Watch with Mother. Just waiting for the bit of mist too clear and I think it will be a lovely day. Pat my bath is too long to read in.My old one was just about right, but I just keep sliding down lol,and getting books wet.Hannah always read in the bath and I would often open the airing cupboard door to find a book drying out with curly pages :-| :-|
We used to have Koi,but I hated it when they were dying and gasping in the pond. In the end we decided to fill it in and all the fish went next door. They have no doubt been gobbled up by the Heron :-S
Off to town now BBL

Morning flowers, !!
How the devil are you all this bright sunny morning. I am full of the joys on Spring. Had a good night sleep, and my bacon sarnie this morning.
I had another 70 bulbs turn up this morning. I have done a recount, and the total is 220 not 180.!!!
Thinking of making my own planters, from LOG ROLLS. I have a big sheet of thick plywood, which I could cut to make the bottoms, Nail the log ro, lls round the bottom, put in a support round the top, and there you go. A PLANTER. :-D :-D :-D Hope it is a easy as it sounds. :-S :-S :-S
We now have it confirmed, that Ros has Spinal Stenosis. It seems that people over the age of 50 are likely to get some form of it. So take care GIRLS. You don't know whats round the corner. We have found that when she is sitting on her" garden seat" and bent over, she is a lot more comfortable, rather than standing upright. I suppose it takes the pressure of the spine.
Think I may take a day off today from "LUMBER JACKING" Might pop to B & @ to price up the logs. and Ros needs some more plants for the pots under the fromt window. "MORE EXPENCE"
Am looking out of lounge window, and can't believe the amount of light we are now getting since I cut out the middle bush.

Hello everyone, just popping in quickly. Read through your posts, but I didn't take it all in apart from wet walnuts. Thanks for the pics Maureen. I liked the little seat.
Hope Ann is feeling better for her trip. Pat when do you go to Paris??
Had the rest of my tests today and see a specialist later in October, but sooner if they can fit me in.
Picture was taken when I was eight and in 3rd grade. The new uniform was introduced that year, much better than the old beige thing they wore when I arrived at the school.
I tell you girls, rounder is good. I am down to a size 8 and losing weight by the week. Hang on to your curves. They keep you warm in winter!!!!
STAY SAFE everyone, especially around the trees, lol. Hope you all have a good day. Terrible rain has stopped for today, but due back tomorrow for a few more days. Garden has greened up, but this localised flooding is a worry.
Cheers for now. 9.31 pm EST

Afternoon All Sunny day but windy, had a few rain showers but they did not last, need to keep busy, finding my self drawn to the TV when I'm on my own and there's a few bits of ironing to do, will probably go mad tomorrow before daughter no1 & Sofia come down and finish the lot.
Hope all goes well with your hospital tests kim, and they manage to see you again earlier than later, I have been sorting out my small bag for Thursday when I return to hospital, last time I was there all day, it was boring lying there so this time i have packed a book and my wordsearch, they have a TV in every room but they are so old that the picture is not very good and it hurt my eyes to conentrate,

Oh what a beautiful day, We parked outside Morriso#s and when we came out could hardly bear the heat in the car. Thank goodness for Air Con. When we got home neighbour lying on a lounger in a swim suit. Not a pretty sight, for an old man. :-D :-D Whewre are the dollies when you need them ;-) ;-) ;-)
Ros purchased a load more plants for the tubs unger the window. She is out there now planting up. I'm down to shorts and bare chest. Not a pretty sight either.!!!
Hows the "three feller"( irish) doing Mel, still got a roof on the bungalow. :-) :).
Kim nice to see you around, please take care. Size eight mind you don't fall down the crack in the pavement :-0 :-0 :-0
Hope you have packed all you need for Thursday Fiona. Will you be there for a long time.????
Where's our Jane today. Not down looking at that fire I hope. They say on local radio that they have had to close roads off. So must be fairly bad. I don't know how they get permission to have places like that, so far from a water supply.

Donkey's years ago I used to have a pint at The Tanners Arms at opening time on my way home from work. (sometimes I'd more than one)
I remember some nights it would coincide with Star Trek. Never missed an episode.
Other times screened was Mission Impossible.
They're making films of these two series now.

Afternoon all I am not far Frank.Smoke is still billowing gently, but white smoke now.
Yes I hope you are safe from chopping trees, and no damage :-S
Mandy I wouldn't say no to your tokens if you are really not needing them.I have got 2 saucepans and a grill pan and am hoping to replace my frying pan next. They are great pans, even if they are on the heavy side .
Poor Chris left to go to Cambridge for a talk on Virginia Wolfe and a 2hour tour around the city.He just rang me to say he got stuck in a traffic jam for 2 hours, left the ticket for the guided walk at home, and the shopping centre was shut because of a suspect package or something. What a wasted day.Something tells me not to expect a happy soul when he gets home :-S :-S :-S

Haven't done any tree chopping this afternoon. TO HOT.
Doing a nice easy tea tonight, chinese spare ribs, chips and baked beans. I bought the Pork slices this afternoon, and put the Chinese maranade on, and put them in the fridge.
Ros is still pottering about outside, will leave her to it, while she feels like doing it. She will no doubl complain tonight. But she will be pleased that she has done what she has.!!
