William, Hope all goes well with your wife next week.
The cat had eaten a load of cold lamb tonight. All chopped up for him by his "DAD" Still in the lounge, so must be feeling a little better. Don't know where he will be later.
Mandy, Ros got three little bags of the tiny tomato's and ghave one each to the three little boys, next door and next door but one the other way. When I took them round, they said we have had out sweets for today. I said these will do you more good. They gave me an old fashioned l;ook :-( :-( :-(
Where's our Kim today, I hope she's not having a bad day.
Going to watch a bit of tele, then an early night. I feel wacked out tonight.

Morning and a bit dull today.
I need to do some clearing out of cupboards which I usually do in the winter when I can't get in the garden. I also have a load of plants to get in the border before the bad weather sets in.
Hope Sheila has a nice time at her aunt's and I bet she has some stories to tell us when she gets back!
Frankhope puss is a bit more settled in his ways today.

Managed to coach him in, and feed him again. When I came out this morning, he is curled up on Ros's cushion. I didn't see him there. Ros has gone for a shower and wash her hair. AND WHERE WAS HE IN THE BLOODY SHOWER UNIT. :-D :-D :-D :-D I must admit he's a lot better in his self this morming.Hope it contimues.
Different sort of day here, overcast, breezy but sign of blue sky through the clouds.
Ros's frield is taking her out for a meal today, invited me along, NO THANKS. couyldn't stand two women talking all afternoon. :-\ :-\ :-\ I will get myself a meal tonight, as she won't want to eat.
Trust you are all well, See you later.

I have had no trouble for a change. It must be different areas for whatever reason.
Brightened up here now, I have to get up the energy, and enthusiasm to walk the wheelbarrow round to the allotment tim, with all the branches I cut down yesterday.
After being kicked out of the shower, the cat decided he would sleep on the bottom of the bed. I put one of his covers on, and he his now fast asleep. HE has never done that in fourteen years. And a wonder Ros lets him today. Only because he's not himself :-D :-D :-D :-D

Oh LIZ,
What absolute nutters/ bastar#s the NFH are. Who do they think they are, threatening agents with legal action. if anything I think you could SUE them for harresment. I be worth having a word with your SOL. or a stong letter from him might quieten them down. I know what I would do in your postion, as I already mentioned in my PM.
GOOD LUCK

Good Lord Liz, I bet you're glad you are moving at last, I have never come across neighbours like that before. You'd probably have a good case for harrassment, after the way they behaved at the estate agents, but I bet you just want to go and be free of them.
How is your brother Ralph these days David?
If you still have no joy sending photos Fiona, I can try sending to whoever didn't get them.
Sheila, here is something my son-i-l said to me, we were visiting his parents graves which he hadn't been to for ages, I said how sad that it's all neglected and overgrown. Not at all, he said, it just shows that you've moved on. I'd never thought of it like that before, but it made sense.

Afternoon All,
At last I 've managed to get on here without waiting ages for things to load!!
Thanks for the pics, Frank and Fiona.
Puss looks good for his age Frank. Maybe it is just 'old age', but it must be a bit worrying wondering where he will pop up next now he has changed his habits!! He seems quite happy at the moment anyway which is the main thing. We have a row of basins with each day's pickings of tomatoes in in the kitchen........yours look as if they have done really well and a variety of different ones too.......we only grew the cherry ones.
Sofia looks like she loved her big cake and the big Lego!! lol I bet she gets everyone building things for her now.
I hope you have another nice break Sheila, I bet your Auntie will love seeing you.
We visited MIL this morning just to make sure she was ok. She was told to rest for 48 hours, but no surprise to us she ignored that and was out running errands the day after, nothing urgent, just the normal routine. Then out to do the shopping as usual yesterday. Then she seems surprised she is tired and still a bit under the weather!!! lol No good saying anything, they are just slaves to their routine. Even if not well, she is always the one that trots to answer the phone or the doorbell. FIL doesn't get a look in!!
OH is out visiting 'inmates' this afternoon, so I have a few hours to myself so I can do some FH. The sites seem a lot slower in the evenings when there are more people on line.
Liz, what an arrogant bully your NFH seems to be!!! Thinks if he throws his weight about he'll get his own way. If he had any common sense he'd realise the EA and solicitor wouldn't speak to him about their clients. He seems to be getting a bit frantic now he can see you slipping away from him!! I bet you are counting the days and hours now. :-D :-D

I think when a new WDYTYA starts there's a glut of people starting their own family tree Ann, which makes it slow the system down, it has got me thinking about it again, I'll probably wait till it all dies down. Like Mel with her cupboards, it's something I shall do when the winter sets in, a bit like the painting .....lol

Maureen, what a brilliant and true answer your SIL gave!! I hadn't thought of it like that either. I like the idea of a headstone, so future genealogist's can find me, maybe an engraved lump of rough rock would be best with all the rock moving I seem to do!! lol Alfie sounds as if he is quite happy. The wonderful thing about animals is they accept their lot and others accept and treat them just the same.
I really enjoyed the Alan Carr WDYTYA. I never knew anything about deserters and how they would escape being found. Very interesting.

Afternoon all,
Found the energy today,I have walked a barrow load the the allotment "TIP" Came back and cut some more branches down, and took those over too. Now completly Knackered. Going for a shower and shave in a mo.
Ros has gone to get petrol for our trip to Rutland, and is stopping off for F & C from our Chinese fish shop. Best around.
Last night while salting the veg, I thought about when the salt came in a big block. It weighed 3lbs. The size of a loaf, wrapped in blue greaseproof paper. I use to chop it up and put it in the SALT JAR. Mum always put a bit in each of the veg.
I haven't been to Mum and Dads grave for many years, not because I have forgotton them, but the distance to travel. We always go twice a year to Ros's parents grave which is only 10 miles away. If you go to a cemetary where travellers are burried. They are always so cared for and highly decorated

Maureen,Ralph had 2 operations for his bowel cancer resulting in a colostomy bag.
He was deeply depressed because of the bag.
He kept on at his Doctor and surgeon for months to reverse the operation so as to put the stoma back on to the digestive tract so that he could evacuate his food as nature intended.
Eventually his wish was granted. He had yet another operation that joined it all up.
Sadly he somehow got a large hernia near the site of his 3 operations.
In addition, his surgeon told him that he could not surgically repair the hernia without the need to put the colostomy bag back on.
No only, but also,Ralph had a full frontal fall in his back garden some time ago doing himself no favours.
He was given a corset hold it in.
I think I'd be as sad in the same circumstances.

I will Mel,but not till after we have gone!! Talked to Surveyor this afternoon and his attitude was to get on and GO! to say we can't wait is putting it mildly!! I think neighbour has let his hatred of us cloud his judgement (if he ever had any!!) and that is beginning to fel a bit threatening, so we are keeping doors locked and watching our backs! what a performance, it's really getting to us! only 10 days now!! Hope you are all OK.

Evening everyone,
Been a nice day here after a wet start ,feels a bit cooler this evening though .
Well ,little Chelsea surprised us all on her first day at nursery , no tears or clinging on to mummy as we all thought she would ,she went in and hung her coat on her peg , played with a few things as DIL and Son watched ( and i think waited for the tears ) but no she walked over to them and they thought here goes , they told her she had to go back and she just went off to play . This afternoon when i saw her she was full of it , told me she had painted some pictures, she had Banana and Bread Sticks for her snack and that on Monday she would be doing PE .
Poor Toby has been off colour all day ,just laying about and has been sick on the carpet !!
Fiona, i got your photo's twice :-D Sofia looks happy with her cake and her lego blocks ,we have them in the toy box ,they are one of their favorite things to play with ,they come out every time .
Liz, those NFH are truly awful !! he is just a bully , he seems determined to upset the apple cart !!! there's enough stress in moving without having to put up with all this, i feel for you i really do .

I have sent you an EM Liz.
Poor Ralph has really been through the mill one way or another hasn't he David. As you say, no wonder he is sad. Does he still use the computer you got him?
OH has recorded a programme about postcards. It looks quite good. He said it tells how postcards were once delivered 4 times a day and that you could send a postcard in the morning to arrange to meet someone for tea the same day!!
