Oh Frank I do hope poor kitty will be ok. When I used to put that stuff on the dogs they went a bit odd too. If he is happy outside he is getting the best air out there. Don't forget he can't get away from the smell as it is on him :-S

As to posting it does take ages and if you click on it twice it comes up twice.

Poor kitty Frank, maybe it was the flea treatment that affected him. They keep changing the ingredients in everything. I hope he is back to his usual self soon. OH was at the Mar*iot Hotel just off the Nene Valley Way..........I'm sure he would have been happy to have a 'half' with you!!! :-D lol I didn't realise you were so near Northampton.

How is your OH's back now Mel. I'm not surprised it was bad after doing fiddly electrical stuff. It is difficult at the best of times and you have to hold your body in such awkward positions.

Mandy, is your OH's toe better? It seems to be OH's that are going oooooh and ahhhh just lately!!

The sweet pea obelisk is leaning now as well as the bean wigwam!!

Afternoon everyone ,

Firstly a Very Happy Birthday Fiona, i hope you've been enjoying your day and have lots of lovely presents <3
Jane, also asked me to wish you a Happy Birthday too, i'am sure she's thinking of you .

Had a bit of a job getting on here so went out side and did some more sorting out , also planted some Pansies in the hanging baskets ,they do look pretty just like little faces nodding in the wind .

Poor old puss Frank, how old did you say he was , perhaps he's laying out side to get rid of the smell !!!

Ann, hubby's toe is not sore when he walks on it ,but i did notice he said ouch my toe, when my sisters dog trod on it :-S
We're not sure if he'll lose the nail he seems to think its loose on one side ,but i daren't look at it :-S

Cuppa time i think , just waiting for my Ginger cake to cook ,i love this recipe its nice and easy .

<3 <3 <3 <3Happy Birthday Fiona <3 <3 <3 <3. Have a lovely day, hope you are getting thoroughly spoiled.

You know what they say about cold hands Sheila .....cold hands, warm heart .... so OH shouldn't complain. Sounds like Jessica wants to move on with her life. Marrying for love doesn't always last, you've only got to look at statistics to see that. Good luck to her, I hope she will find happiness, she deserves it, bringing up two young children on your own is hard.

I am worrying about your kitty Frank, he doesn't sound right. My mum told me once that the dr. advised her to put baby (me) in the pram under trees, must be something to do with the oxygen they let off, cats have very strong instincts so maybe that's why he's sitting under the tree a lot. Keep us posted.

I'm going to see if I can wave that magic wand and make the sugar plum fairy re-appear.

Hi Folks,

Sorry I haven't been around lately, as (Oscar Wilde/Mark Twain?) once said, the news of my demise has been greatly exagerated.
Just been very busy due to my wife going in for her operation next Tuesday. Everything seems to be so protracted these days. Apart from spending 5 hours at the hospital last week for an 'assessment' when we had to seen everyone short of the cleaners, we now have to go for an inerview with the anaesthetist tomorrow and for her to have a blood test) my wife, not the anaethetist!). As I am also her carer, other arrangements have to be made so I seem to be constantly on the phone. I thought technology was supposed to make life easier, seems to me it's not working where the NHS is concerned. If you can't have a rant on here, where can you have a rant?
They have said she will be in for three days - we'll my wife and I are notorious for overstaying in hospitals, so it remains to be seen. Watch this space. In 2009 I was lucky to be discharged on Christmas day afternoon after being in two weeks! That certainly was the most different Christmas we have ever spent.
I guess as this thread started about 'early memories', we better not dwell on our early illnesses and or it might be a gory tale, or it might even be a 'happy ever after' tale. Who knows. Anyway, I've not forgotten you all and hope none of you have been blown away or flooded in the recent spate of bad weather.
Take care everybody, chat soon

Hello William, good to see you back on. You have a good old rant, won't change much, but it does make you feel better. Hope your wife's operation next Tuesday is a success.

Personally I think new technology is overrated, no not really, it's just I don't understand half of it. You're doing better than me Shirl. at least you managed to get Skype even if you can't use it ......lol

Best wishes to your wife for her operation William. I hope she gets home again in the 3 days. They like to empty the beds quickly these days!! Rant all you like on here......we do.....helps to get things off your chest.

Frank, what a beauty it is....was it really yours? It would be worth a bit now I should think.

David, how is your ear now? Less painful I hope. Has Ellen sorted her plans for the kitchen yet.

Good news that your son feels well enough to want his own place again Shirl. Must be your TLC that did it. Pity it didn't work with the toms and peas though!! lol

Looking forward to seeing WDYTYA tonight.....Alan Carr.

Morning everyone,

Did you enjoy your birthday yesterday Fiona ? I watched WDYTYA last night too. Is there only Robin Gibb left now to do .... no there is another woman I dont know lol.

Mel...my fish seem to be holding in there at the moment..I hope we have saved them..Our pond is wooden and above the gound and has 6 sides hex something..It holds 175 Gallons anbout 900 litres it is 5 by 6 feet..
We dont have a double filter system..There was too much of something in the water ?? my husband understands these things..we dont why this suddenly changed..We have had the pond for years and nothing like this has happened before..

we did have one in the ground at first but changed to this type because of the grandchildren and we wanted to move it.. too..

Nice photos of you Frank and Maureen..
