Oh dear it is also taking ages to get on here in the nornings too.

I accidently clicked on something when my mouse had a fit and now all the GR stuff comes up in my spam box. My pooter did a full scan on Friday and now I get a message up the top of the page saying about things from this site being bloked!! OH told me to click on a message and then on Not Spam but I have'nt found the Not Spam yet :-S When I click on Move it has two strange things on it apart from inbox. One is a rellie, very distant in oz and the other is new folder!! So where is the Not Spam I ask myself.

OH is laying on the bed at the moment as his back is playing up. Once he site down he is taking ages to stand up. I do simpathize with him as thats how I get sometimes :-0 :-0 :-0

Sheila do let us know if Donnie comes back please. We want to know the whole saga...

Pat I am glad you did get my email addy, and what was the verdict on the pond water. How big is your pond and how deep. Do youhave a big filter and aeroation(sp) equipment? We have two filters now2 and a strainer linked up to the big filter. OH says he may get another strainer as he runs this one off the scimmer and it collects all the guk that would go into the filter otherwise. Also if your filter has an ultraviolet light in it you have to change the tube each year.

My pond was attacked by some sort of decease, and wiped out all my fish, which I had had for 10 years. Some of the carp were massive, also the ghost carp. Now the pond is full of "DUCK WEED". that what I call it. It covers the whole pond. Will have to start from scratch next spring. If I am able to get in it to clean all the rubbish out of the bottom, once drained. I can get a pump fot £20.00 a day. It won't take long to pump it out, that won't be the problem.

Ros's friend rang to say she had to go into town this afternoon, would she like to go along for the ride. (CAN A DUCK SWIM)

Hope Janer is getting a bit of shelter from this weather. Out local paper had pictures of trees across some of the roads, but no one hurt. Anyone can help and take the branches away, allright for winter fires !!

Trying something different for dinner tonight. Onion, mushrooms, peppers, sweetcorn and peas, with fried rice, and Chicken. Started cooking the veggie things earlier and they smell and taste allright. So she's got two chances :-D :-D :-D :-D

Ros's has a birthday next Monday, I have bought her three pairs of ear rings, a new nightie, now looking for something else, not sure what she would like. She's got plenty of smellie stuff. and undercloths. Masses of Jewellery. What do you women like. ???? NOT CHOCS

The wind had eased off now, but had rain an hour ago. Very cloudy and looks like more rain.

Maureen you made me laugh being the Sugar plum fairy Me I am the sugar plump fairy more like. my husbands got a bad back and he is a site in the morning when he puts his trousers on he bends down and cannot manage to put them on so he lies on the floor and slides them up his legs after about 15 minutes he gets up and flops exhausted on the bed.
I did rub his back once but he moaned my hands were cold so much I gave up. My hands are always cold.

Shirl where have you been hope your ok. I am going to Vermont in New
England. I wanted to go in autumn its surposed to be all red and gold and wonderful colours the countryside. However we cannot go then .Its took a lot of effort with visas and things we decided to go a long time ago when Jessica first mentioned going. There will be no big wedding just a small family gathering while there and they will get wed at a registry office April can still have a dress they just dont have the money . They will have an apartment in New York to start with. the company Ryan works for will supply that having changed his job to a consultant for some advertising with a newspaper goodness knows where April will go to school and Jessica is a bit worried having Mat but there you go its a decision that she had to make and when I ask her do you love Ryan she goes well mum its what he wants and Matty would be pleased. I said is it what you want and she said I would have liked to have Mat but Ryans so sweet I cannot amagine life without him.

Young people seem to marry to live together for very different reasons to us when young.

So you have no holiday either Shirl hows your son now and how are you coping being a single lady. Your strong so can amagine you will survive

Oh ponds dont mention them we had one at my house in Birmingham when we first came Tenbury Road one. There were about 10 fish and all doing well until my son decided to colour the water he dropped 4 dyes into it I had got to do some curtains my ho bought back from his office
he wanted them navy blue. My son thought they were purple and fancied
purple water. the poor fish all went a funny colour and although I tried to save them they died one by one. One poor fish swam round for ages
but he ended up dead. I could not face another pond I felt like we had murdered somebody. well we did the fish.
We let Ashy have a gold fish but then I killed that spraying polish over the table it was on. Poor little mites.

Hope Jane is ok. Your dinner sounds nice Frank I am sure Ross will love her gifts. Flowers are nice delivered .well I like them.nice surprise

I did not see the drama about the Wests to be honest it was not my cup of tea horrid man. But I love to watch things like that sometimes . Did anyone watch that film about the girl who would not help
the horrible old Gypsy women keep her house she took a button and put a curse on her this poor girl it was awful and she thinks shes given it the witch back when a trip to her graveside prevails but shes taken the wrong envelope which she dropped in her boyfriends car and he finds it and gives it her back and she goes to hell in a puff of smoke and flames. swallowed up on the railway lines. the curse goes to her boyfriend it was gruesome really horrid. I scared myself watching that for days.

Donnies not come back nobody knows where he is I knew he may go he was getting fed up of Beryl and her insults. I laughed at times but even i could see he was hurt by some of them will keep you posted. I Agree you dont know what you have good until its gone and he did work and help her
keep what she had and waited on her hand and foot. Nothing pleases our Beryl

That Blooming wind , it's blown down a hanging basket and pulled the bracket out of the wall too !!!

Had a bit of a tidy in the shed , put the Spa away ,cut the front lawn and the neigbour's cat had pooed on the grass, four lots !!! i had to clear it all up before i could mow !!

Hi all,

I get Ros flowers for her birthday every year. The trouble is she buys flowers every week anyway. So she always have's them around.

Mandy, I nearly did a bit, getting behind the wheel, had the handbrake in my hand, I only had to back out of a space ane drive in another. Felt like I had driven miles :-D :-D :-D Haven't had a licence for years now, so can't take it up as a regular thing.

My poor old cat, dosen't know wheather he is coming or going.He has been sleeping in the most odd places, under the unit in the porch, in the cupboard where we keep the ironing board. Today in all the showers he has been sleeping under the big tree in the front garden. I have bought him in the lounge this evening, and he is sitting on the arm of my chair. I think he will soon be coming to his end, but won't take him to the vets, unless it is the last rresort. He has been a real homely cat, and loved sitting on his blanket in the window watching the world go by, now it's a job to get him in the lounge.

OH has gone to Northampton today. I said to Jane that if she hadn't been away I could have gone with him and popped in to see her for a couple of hours while he was at his meeting. I wonder if she has worn a hole in her walking shoes yet!!!

I was reading in the papers yesterday about the irish travellers that had kept all those people as slaves, one for 15 years it said. There was a map with the places where there are sites where it happened. The new site up the road from us was on it!! It looks so smart and clean too........just shows what can be happening right under your nose.

Sheila you are certainly getting about with all your travels. I wish I was brave enough to fly all over the place. New England is supposed to be very beautiful in autumn......pity you couldn't have gone then as you say. I bet April is thrilled to be getting a nice dress. Donnie and Beryl sound made for each other. I bet he will be missing her.

We enjoyed the Pitmen Painters last night. OH said it was one of the best plays he has seen for a while. Quite funny and thought provoking.

The cat saga goes on. I had to go out and pick him up from his new "RESTING" place uner the tree.about 10.30 last night, Bought him into the lounge and fussed him for an hour. Ros blocked off his cat flap, I put down a litter tray and loads of newspapers, expecting the worse. Ros was up first, went into the kitchen, and he is curled up asleep on the work top. She let him out, and he's how asleep under "HIS" tree. I treated him with his yearly flee treatment at bthe weekend, so that might be the cause for his behaviour. Hope he improves soon.
