Frank I was in Tokyo about 4 or 5 years ago .I am just so pleased our friends who lived there are now back here.I know they kept Hard Hats under their bed in case of earthquakes I dread to think what the number of deaths will be.It is just awful
Next lot of washing just going out.It all seems to be drying nicely today.

Afternoon All Guess what? we have been through the same procedure with DIL again this morning. Baby has been on heart monitor and is ok. Has to go bvack again tomorrow. I am not sure how long my nerves, never mind theirs, can take this. Will see consultant on Wednesday if no progress. Wish I knew just what they are playing at as poor girl exhausted. Glorious day here, we have been to the garden centre to buy compost and a new water butt as old one split over the winter. I have been watching BBC news and the quake and aftermath look horrendous. I feel for those poor people out in the Pacific, it must be terrifying. Welcome Jayne, hope you enjoy all our chat.
Frank I often cook pork tenderloin with a stuffing of either pancetta, muyshroom and onion, in orange juice. Try it sometime, its one of hubby's favourites. 1.32

I see the Earthquake is very bad now. Bodies coming up everywhere, missing train, boat with 100 on board swept away. no doubt it will run into `1000s by the time it settles down.
I have done it !!!! couldn't wait any longer. CUT MY LAWNS. Ros was out in front garden putting in more plants. and decided to trim round the edges of the lawn. That all I needed to get the mower out. !!!! It looks great.
Have prepared dinner for tonight. Pork Tenderloin, stuffed with apples and herbs, slices onions and potato in cream,(DAPH something or other) with veg. Should go down well. Pity I haven't got a bottle of red. !!!
Anne, I don't know what the hospital is up to, She should be in there under supervision.

Hi Everyone, Just popped in to say Hello. Nor a very nice day here, drizzly rain, but not cold. The Eathquake certainly looks and sounds horrendous, those poor people, and I think I've got problems!! (House sale a bit precarious) certainly gets things into proportion! Must take Millie, she didn't get her walk this am, so must go now!

Its raining here now so the gardening has stopped. As the earthquake story unfolds it sounds unbelievable and so many people seemed to have been killed. Frank I have never stuffed tenderloin with apples do let us know how it tastes. We are having pasta tonught withLloyd Gro**man sauce, Its a bit of a cheat but quick and simple.Think there is some garlic bread in freezer and I have made a crumble for dessert so should be ok. Have just watched last episode of Lark Rise and now have all the episodes of The Tu*ors to enjoy. I feel another bottle of red coming on! Thanks for all the support its appreciated. 3.46

Ann I use those jars of sauce too.I never feel guilty lol Liz I will keep every thing crossed for you with the house situ.I am afraid it is not looking good for Hannahs house. The mortgage people are now saying they will not agree to her selling at that price because of the huge negative equity. What the h*ll to they expect her to do.They have strung her along for weeks and I am absolutely disgusted with them. They have been no help at all in the years that she has been trying to sell .I don't know if they will change their minds.I doubt it,but will hope.Don't touch them with a barge pole .I don't think I had better name them on here.I might get in trouble. I won't go on any more ,but I'm just so mad and feel so sorry for Hannah.16.26

Jane, I can't believe the mortgage company. She knows about the negative equity, and will over the years pay it off. What else can she do. Just walk away from it, go bankrupt and stick two fingers in the air to them. That what I would do. I would go to CAB and get some advice. I can't see that they can stop her selling. !!!!
Turned out cold again, threatening rain. heating on,
Will have dinner later. Ros was just going to have a Jacket potato, when the neighbours rang to say they needed picking up at the bus station. The time she got back and had it it was after 3,30. so she's not hungry . Anne, I am cheating, I had a Morriso#s stuffing mix with apple and herb. I butterflyed the loin. Stuffed it and tied it up with string (LIKE THE BUTCHER) Should hold together. It won't want to long in the oven, or it will go tough. I did see a receipe on the web where they used apple, so I am sure it will be fine.
Liz, What a bummer about the house, hope it all sorts itself out.

Hi your advice was taken and I rested in bed yesterday .But did go to my favourite pub the Peacock where I had scampi and salad and and orange juice there was a lovely log fire which a man kept stoking up it was really nice. Came home did a bit of housework and went to bed.
Frank made me laugh saying the mouse could have gone upwards not sure who jack russell is though dare I ask.
All your lovely dinners making me hungry.
Margeret do hope the baby arrives soon it is such a worry for you all.
I did not move the mattress my husband did I just went with him in case of problems. Due to the kids setting fire to some last year which sent all the people in the area to the hospital. We phoned the police and they were going to collect it but it is still hidden we spied today.
The earthquake is awful it makes you appreciate living in this country. although we have had a few nasty things here the Abbafan mine disaster how do you spell that. and then somewhere flooded once and it destroyed a whole village where was that oh my memory is awful was it somewhere in Devon. Then Lockerbie do excuse my spelling. The poor girl who did my hair in the city of Brum was killed on the plane that was bombed on the way to New York such a pretty girl she was and very bubbly.
I cried when I saw the funeral of the soldier killed with his dog. The soldiers mum said her sons term of service was coming to an end and he would have had to leave his dog a springer spaniel and now they were together.I cried buckets.
My two dogs are barking all the while wanting longer walks.I went out this morning to sunshine and fields of crocuses they were beautiful I shall take my camera next time. Sophia came round to see me the lady I worked with the Russian lady. I laughed when I went to the door she said Oh lovely lady you nearly passed off up there . I said I had a mild heart attack Sophia she said I know so god did not want you that is good. My ho went out I think he was more than amused. Then she said where is that Donnie I pull out all his studs he will get the blood poisoning my Jack he got pierced somewhere and it fell off. I dare not ask what fell off.Sophia does have a weird way of talking maybe the stud who knows.
I said Sophia are you working now and she said Oh no I get a job with cakes but I eat many and they tell me to go. Well she ended up going to the deli shop for chips and a kebab never ever stops eating that lady.
Well off to bed to read my Karen Carpenter story read many times now Mohsen gave me this book for Christmas written by someone else with more detail of her dying she used strong laxative while starving herself it now say. I loved her voice. I have dozens of disks.
Well hello and nite nite to everyone thank you again for your concern. My friend Annie is popping in tomorrow so I should get some sane conversation.
I love Millie such a nice name for a horse.Liz.

Jane, I'm so sorry to hear about Hannahs house selling trials! There always seems to be some problem just when you think you've cracked it!! Our buyers knew all about our neighbour problems and said tht they didn't mind, but of course having talked to their Sol they are now hedging as they're not sure that they want to live next door to people who may cause trouble, I can see that , I'm not sure that I would!!! but 'she' seemed so businesslike we did hope that it wouldn't be an issue. All our upset with Laura will have been completely unneccessary if this goes wrong, oh dear, now, how do I get back on track with her?!!!!

Everyone seems to have bad news today. Jane I am so sorry for Hannah.
Been out to try and get trousers for OH. He bought one pair while I was doing other things and then we went and had lunch at the garden center so I don't have to cook tonight. I had a large pot of soup on the go so we will have that with a cheese Tear 'N' Share bread.
Bought myself another pair of trousers and a lambswool jumper for OH and another two pairs of trousers so we did'nt do bad on the whole. Oh and I also got myself a new gun with sites.

Thank goodness we are not trying to sell our houise at the moment. It sounds like a minefield. Hope all turns out OK for everyone. Have just watched the news again and it seems as though the true horror of the earthquake and tsunami is just emerging. I remember when we had all the flooding here in North Yorkshire in the early 2000. Hubby was involved with the emergency and I did not see him for days ( emergency planning is his thing and he is going to a conference in Birmingham on Tuesday even though he is retired) and I always feel for the people who help with the rescues as well as the victims. Consultant now seen DIL and is happy with situation at the moment.

Jane, you'd be advised to pay a solicitor who specialises in property to look at Hannah's problem.
It may cost yost you £50 or more but they know the ropes. I've always thought solicitors expensive (cos I'm mean) but they will save you hundreds or perhaps thousands.
Have a word with one.

I feel I right old miserable bu**er tonight and I am looking at Hannahs birthday presents sat there waiting for her to open them when she gets home.I am sure she will be pleased with them but I can't imagine it is going to be a very happy evening.I just want her luck to change so she can move on with her life. She is going to Dublin on Tuesday with some friends for St Patricks day.I hope she will be able to enjoy it.It will do her good to get away, but with all this hanging over her I'm not sure.
Sheila ,I'm pleased to hear you are being good lol.Sorry I can't add more at the moment but I don't feel terribly chatty. Not like me I know .I'm not normally a down kind of person. Hey Ho! Must get to grips and go and get those potatoes out of the oven.
