Happy New Year 2011 to all my corespondants on this thresd and others

Sheila, my sister was pleased with the log basket ,fitted on her hearth a treat.
Cramp in the leg can be painful, makes your leg sore for ages , hubby takes tablets for cramp.

We're not going out anywhere ,it'll be just the two of us ,we usually stop up and see the fireworks on the television ,and tomorrow just a quiet day ,might try the coast if its sunny .

My BIL's mum's head shakes too but I can't think what they call it. Jane should know!!

We are just the two of us for tonight and tomorrow but you may see me on here tonight to see the new year in with whoever is around or awake!!

Am so looking forward to Larkrise even if their clothes are too clean Ann. Put that aside and enjoy the stories. I have a soft spot for ? minds gone blank. I thinkit is Laura's dad.

Laura's dad, is that Brendan Coyle? I don't like his character very much, but I love the postman's awkwardness and Minnie's innocent blunders!! All the characters are very strong aren't they.

Good idea and I did try that with the washer Mandy......didn't work unfortunately! It is a bit of a palava to reset, switch off, press 2 buttons together while switching on (need 3 hands), after 3 beeps, let buttons go and press again straightaway, after 4 beeps let go and fingers crossed it resets. Things used to be so much easier!!! I suspect me washing too much at once caused it. I've written down what to do now.....just watch me I'll lose that next. lol

Went and got the car washed today to get some of the road salt off it.........huge queue, everyone had the same idea.

We'd rather stay in New Year's Eve too, a nice relax and watch the fireworks on tv too.

Better get my GR searches ready for the free session..........

Well it will be a real lively bunch here tonight lol.Me,Chris and Hannah.I have a feeling none of us will be up for Big Ben.I will try though.James and jess are out for dinner at a friends and then to a party,but James is feeling so rough I can see them coming home early.This is the 3rd New Years Eve he has not been well lol.
It is just Pasta tonight ,and then tomorrow evening 3 Bird Roast.I hope everyone is feeling up to eating it.It cost a bomb lol
I used to love New Years Eve when I was younger.Mum and Dad always had a great party when half the village seemed to turn up.Or if I wasn't there I would be out on the town in Plymouth .Oh Happy Days!!!

Gas Board couldn't fix it,said part obsolete.
But they cutely made an appt to send salesman to sell me a new one!
So I did what I always do on these occasions when I smell a sting.

I quite like the temperature at the moment.I just had a long cardi on when I went to town.I was too hot in my coat!

I went to our cute little chapel today to light a candle for Shirl but it was closed the vicars got flu and his assistant there was surposed to be a pets service .

I like Edwardian farm.Only repeats just lately watched the Sound of music
with an old lady friend who cooked her chicken with the jiblets still in the plastic bag and it was stuck to her oven uneaten and I had to bury the remains in the garden. She had cornflakes for her Christmas dinner.
I had a three bird roast so cooked that for her today she went home happy.
Well with family deposited safely back in Wales I can relax my leg is very painful .

April said she went straight out and got Rashers and Sheep in for a snuggle by the fire goodness help them she did that when I was there and it did not smell too fresh after.

Will just pop in to say we got home about 4.30pm. The time it took to unload the car, clear up the mess in the porch, kitchen, lounge. Hovered through. it was 5.30 plus. I did put the oven on when we came in. Roast Lamb. I did the veg. etc after we were cleaned up. Lewis's dad came for him about 6.30. We have had dinner and washed up. Now in dressing gowns and relaxing.

Heard about my brother. I'ts an infection not a blockage, which the doctors are pleased about. Now stuffing him with anti-biotics.

Will try to get back for BIG BEN. if not HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU ALL>

Phew....they extended the time till 9.00pm so I traced a few 1911 ones......problems printing the images so I ended up making notes and copying the typed versions. lol Not as good as Ancestry when they did this.

Glad things look a bit better for your brother Frank now they know its an infection and have started treating it. Nice getting your dressing gown on isn't it!! It seems to have been a very long week.

Off to watch telly now, so in case I'm not back.....

You'll never guess what? Dysonman came today and all is well!! amazing how a fixed hoover makes you feel more cheerful! Had a flu jab today,better late than never!! thought I'd better as OH is going in on 24th Jan so flu is ALL we need!! Got on to Genes FreeSession this evening for about 1/2 hour so not too bad! Looking forward to 'Larkrise' as well,even though the clothes and the houses are FAR too clean!!!
