Poor little blackbirds are running around in the snow, and they are half covered. No small birds around they must be tunneling under the snow :-D :-D

LOL Jane, good thinking on Chris's part ,you get so many extra magazines and what not in the papers these days he'd need the back pack to carry them .

Sister has just rung , BIL had a van run into him on thursday morning ,he was driving slowly down a country lane he saw this van coming towards him and the van driver (a polish woman) lost control ran into the side of him and pushed him into a tree !!
Car might be a right off !! But thank goodness he was ok.

They should be having a courtesy car but the garage doesn't have any left ,of the five they have all are out because of accidents !!
Sister said she was hoping this year would be better for them after all that happened to BIL last year .

Oh Mandy just saw your post. Some people just don't know how to drive in the snow (THAT GOES FOR MOST OF US) we are just not use to it. !!! Glad BIL is O.K. I see yesterday the AA went to 1,100 breakdowns around the country.

Got my book down, but don't know what sort of book I want to read, decisions, decisions. !!!

Might just flick through the chanals and see if I can find something to watch.

I hadnt been on the whoo whoo only because I had run out of snaps..Had to make do with just Vodka and cranberry,nor the same.

He has just taken Mocha for a walk around the block..Im frightened of slipping with my bones..
I have just washed Mochas coat i will have to shorten it over his body..he does like to spend many pennies while out lol..

Fiona ..I went to Dun*lm the other week to buy a rug for my front room..But saw a nice one with a poppy on it that goes with my scheme in the kitchen dinner,,so swaped them over.

I heard on the news that Australia has the hottest weather for years 46 degrees..I would like a bit of warmth but not that much.

Chester has finally realised that is better to wee at the bottom of the hedge where there is a little strip of grass under .So hopefully no more frozen stinging 'bits'

No snow so far,but the sky is looking a bit iffy now and the light seems to be changing.Also a little blowy .James has cleared all the drive today.He might have to do it all again tomorrow .He has gone off in my car :-S.The main roads are fine but he is going to friends in the back streets in town and I know they will be really bad.He is a very good and careful driver ,but in these conditions you don't know what might happen.

Have just done the Pinwheels so now I am going to have the rest of the afternoon doing nothing else.Have cleaned a bathroom and half of Hannah's bedroom carpet.The other half will be tomorrow when I can move the bed across.

I think I might just have a glass of wine and chill :-D :-D :-D

PAT .I love the photo of Mocha and his snowball :-D :-D :-D..I remember my old dog Dodger used to get massive snowballs stuck in his fur all around his feet.He could hardly walk lol Does Mocha have the same trouble,as he has longish coat?

I did get my pussy willow and bought a couple of table runners but they will have to go back as they are the wrong shade of red and they clash with everything else, think I will play it safe and get some cream ones instead, cream goes with any colour :-)

Bitterly cold now it has gone dark, we still managed to get away without any snow today, Glad your BIL is ok Jane
