Well going to the hairdressers late in the day was actually a pleasant thing today.Nigel was behind time so I had a complimentary scalp treatment and massage(relaxing or what :-D :-D)Then I had a small glass of wine :-D :-D.I think it was what they have left from Christmas.So I was really pampered.Driving home in nasty fog wasn't so pleasant though :-S I didn't get home until nearly 7,so dinner is late.M&* Chicken Pie and assortment of veg.

Everyone stay safe if out and about in this fog.

We have bad fog too Jane. It never cleared today.

Had a good go in the bathroom today. Cleaned all round the shower which is really hard to do as it is a corner shower with sliding doors on runners which is the hard part. Getting inbetween the doors and the runners inside and out. I have to use a toothbrush and a small paint brush as that is the only things I can get Still it is done now for a week or so. The only thing left too do now is wash the floor and I will do that tomorrow.

I can hear drilling from upstairs :-S :-S.James is trying to put up a bracket on a wall for his new TV.He is not the best at DIY so there may be many holes and loose plaster by the time he is done lol.I'm Not going up to see how he is doing.Just hope if he gets the bracket up,that it stays up once the TV is on it.

Tomorrow morning James and me have the Dentist at 11.30.Me for the Hygienist and James a Check up.
I had one and a half inches cut off the length of my hair ! and it is still longer than I have had it in 20 plus years.I just wish I could dry it as nice as Nigel .It's just not so easy when you do it yourself is it.
I think dinner is just about ready now.I wonder if we need gravy :-S

Mel I am going to give my shower a big blasting with this new Steam Boost thing(especially those runner bits ,like you say are a nightmare to clean.I used it on the shower screen in the main bathroom today and it got rid of all the hard water streaks.A quick wipe over after with one of those cloths (microfibre or something) and it came up gleaming).Those cloths are great but I just can't stand the feel of them.

I know Ann, she just seems so little to be going ti nursery school ,the others were nearly four when they went and sh'e just three !! she's very nearly dry ,just has the odd slip up , i wonder if she will cling to DIL and not want to go she seems keen at the moment.
She makes laugh as she says she has her new Fool Bag and Fool uniform ,she carn't say school!! :-D :-D :-D

I used my steam mop in the shower and i filled the whole shower cubicle with steam !! i couldn't see a thing i was cleaning :-D :-D

I know what you mean about the feel of those cloths ,they put my teeth on edge ,it's like putting a spoon in a tin of custard powder that does the same thing .

Son has just rung and he's going to work tomorrow ,his ears seem better now.

Jane those cloths are called "E" cloths. Marvellous bit of kit Ros has loads of them. I use them to wash and polish the windows

We haven't got the FOG here. I think it has turned a bit colder out. (as well as on the thread) LOL LOL.,

Nice piece of pork tonight, with all the trimmings. Ros washed up as I had prepared and cooked it.

The sewing circle went well today, about 12 people turned up. One woman said she has been making a Bed cover for over 20 years, she now intends finishing it. !!! Don't know what the material will be like after all this time . Another woman had never used a sewing machine in her life before. She bought one for this project. Ros sat her down with a piece of material and said away you go !!! she was thrilled to bits that she could thnread the needle. and stich in a straight line. They will get her on to something next week. All in all a very good day.

I am off now to watch Silent Witness. We both like that.

Yes, however did we manage without those e cloths. Once they came out I threw most of my dusters and cloths away. I use them for everything, mirrors, windows, the car. Great for drying the wall and floor tiles in the bathroom with no streaks, the glass spashback behind the cooker.....marvellous. Oh I hate that noise in the custard powder tin too......like walking on soft snow. lol

It sounds like the sewing group Ros went to will be good Frank. Do they all do their own projects?

Well, beading class starts again tomorrow so I'd better go and sort out what I'm wearing in case I oversleep and don't have much time.....something warm I think.

I hav'nt tried these micro cloths as they look like something that may stick to my fingers which can get rough and I can't stand that. I may have to have a try as you all seem to think they are good.

Also I have a steam cleaner but have never used it. Oh has said when I want to have a go at the shower he will show me what to do and it will make life a lot easier for me.

Can I clean a carpet withit too? I have flotex carpet on the floor in the kitchen which I use dto clean with my V*x until oh blew it up by not having the proper bucket in it while sucking water up.

Jane you can see it on iplayer tomorrow and then the second half is tomorrow night.
