Oh Chris was paying attention to them then Jane....he might be a fan next. :-) Was he sodden when he got back? Jane I wouldn't dare be untidy in anyone else's house. I would be embarrassed and would want to be hoovering up any bits on the bedroom floor myself.Have you heard anymore from Rachel? Or is no news good news? |

Liz, when we stayed at Exford years ago, we used to hear noise when dogs at some kennels nearby were being fed. Now you've said that about Staghounds, might that have been what they were. It didn't sound like ordinary barking come to think of it and I know that was not far from where you used to live. I suppose it could have been a draghunt that Chris saw as well.....hope he wasn't sucking an aniseed sweet! . :-D I haven't watched The Girl yet.....might be tonight. |

I doubt it was a drag hunt Ann, they're always on horse back and very fast. 'I' has been on those years ago and you have to be very fit as does your horse!! Yes I expect it was the Staghounds you heard, they're much bigger than foxhounds, who are bigger than beagles, and as for Bassets, they have tiddly legs but are sujrprisingly strong and keep going (on foot) for hours. Our pack come up from the New Forest now and again and are super dogs, very friendly and anxious to please. |

Nice pics of Maggie and Grace, William.....little Grace certainly looks as if she was getting into the party mood! How nice to see your family from Hornchurch after so long too. Robbie sounds a nice boy, so polite too holding his hand up! I bet he loved seeing all of your models. |

Oh dear Frank; so sorry that Ros is still not feeling A1. I think that Xmas is a very bad time of year, weather awful, lots of bugs and nasties, and all the hype, expense(!) and the feeling that 'the jolly box' has to be constantly on at full bore! Can be stressful!!!! Weather iffy here today, sunshine(ish) but plenty of wind and of course the obligatory rain!! Frank, think of our old neighbours and the water lapping at their Patio Doors!!! that should cheer you up! Have walked Millie, 'I' has got in a load of logs, fed Merlin and we are now trying to find a nice film (again!) to see us though this afternoon Goose(!) and orange gravy for supper with mash and brussels (easy!) Weather forecast in a minute, I think it MAYbe a bit better!! |
