Don't worry Mel, as Arnie says "I'll be back..." - I'll make sure the Christmas hat photo will be back on in December. Horace the Hedgehog will have hibernated by then LOL

No not flooded Mel :-D :-D.I had a look at everyones drives today and it has all drained away.I'm still keeping the sandbags at the front of the garage door though ,because tomorrow 'ain't looking good.I just am obsessed now with WATER :-| :-|..It just finds it's way here lol.It is my niece and her family that I'm really concerned about now.She says a High tide is due for the Severn plus the rain due.She has the Severn at the front of her house (next to Tewkesbury Cathedral) and another river at the back of the house. So it comes from both sides. At the back it is a flood plain which is now totally flooded :-S

STILL HAVEN'T GOT DINNER IN .......MUST DO IT NOW

What a foggy morning.Chris had to scrape his windscreen too before he went to work.
I am just going to clear some ironing before Hannah and John arrive at lunchtime.

Morning all and evening Kim,

Dull this morning and it was very misty last night and there was a frost.

I caught Hogwart out last night and it was eating. I stood and listened to it crunching away on it's biscuits then it started to drink and I could hear it lapping away. I must have stood there for nearly 20 mins. I could'nt really see very much as there were no lights on in the lounge but suddenly it must have seen and shot in the bedroom like a bullet out of a gun!! I gave it some more soft food and more water and went to bed. All was tidy when I left it but this morning I have the usual mess.

Morning All,

A very damp morning here and raining again now. :-(

I love that song David.......some of the old songs are the best!

I can't decide what to do today. OH is off to a match at Loughborough University soon, but I have been to Loughborough recently so didn't want to go with him there. I might go to a nearby craft fair and art exhibition in one of the village halls, it's free to go in to.

OH was chivvying me along this morning while we were out and we were having a bit of banter as he seems to be always hurrying me along to fit in with things he has planned on his agenda!! I told him I was going to call him 'Shoehorn' as I feel 'shoehorned' into his plans sometimes..........his quick reply was that he would call me .......'Foghorn'....... then!!!!!!!! :-| :-| :-S. I had to laugh, there's no answer to that!!!! lol. :-D I'll be getting him back at playtime though!

Mel, I think you are in for a busy winter of sorting Hogwart out. He/she doesn't appreciate your tidying and cleaning up. lol. It will be best if he/she doesn't get too tame I suppose so it's good it scoots out of sight!

Glad your blood test results were all good Mandy and at least the raised BP has been picked up sooner rather than later. I think with most of us our blood pressure creeps up as time goes by. Have you done your glitter ball yet? :-D

Shirl we don't seem to get the santas on sleighs around here anymore. My first boyfriend used to turn his dad's red pickup into a sleigh at christmas and drive around the villages collecting for charity.

Better set off now if I'm going out......BBL

Afternoon everyone,

Very foggy and frosty here first thing ,looks more like rain now .

You've got a full time job there Mel with little Hogwart, but there if he's putting the food in one end it stands to reason it will come out the other end !! :-D

Jane any news today on the flooding near your niece ?
Hope you enjoy the time with Hannah and John ,will be nice to have a catch up with them.

Oh Ann , that's not very nice OH calling you Foghorn :-D is he saying your loud ?? LOL :-D
I have stuck all the little shot glasses together to make two halves for the Sparkle ball , just got to get some new lights to go in now ,will have to have a look this week for some as people will soon be buying them all up .
Our lights get turned on tomorrow in the town , i swear the town Christmas tree gets smaller every year !! does look a nice bushy one though .

We're having Honey and Lemon Chicken tonight ,haven't done that before so will see how it turns out ,just got to decide what veg to have with it .

We went to Te*co's this morning and hubby had his eyes tested ,we didn't think they would have an appointment today but they did, so we waited and waited , hubby had to have new glasses so by the time we came out we had been in there nearly two hours!!!
Mind you i did shop for a few things and used my coupons on double up to get the children some toys for Christmas .

Kim must be really poorly again ,we haven't heard from her for quite a while now have we ? love to you Kim if you are looking in <3

Time for a cuppa i think. BBL

When we bought houses years ago the last thing you would worry about or even consider would have been flooding, now it's very high on the list, so unlucky for a lot of people, fingers crossed your neice's home will be okay Jane.

I'm in a ..........there are no problems only solutions ................mood today, must have something to do with the printer working.

Do you think little Hogwart may be eating too much Mel if he's leaving you lots of little packages.

You are all so organised, haven't even thought about Christmas presents yet. Is it starting earlier and earlier, I didn't think they switched the lights on until December but they are on already, lst December is my cue to get started.

Jane

Jane Report 24 Nov 2012 14:41

No Mandy I haven't had any news from Tewkesbury so far today.I expect I will speak to Janice later and get an update.Hope her back is not so painful today too.

I don't know what to double my vouchers up for .Maybe clothes or wine :-D

It has been a long time since I went to a craft fair. There are usually some lovely things at this time of year.
I stopped at the little garden shop to get another coconut for the birds and they have lots of Xmas Trees already :-|...Mush to early for my liking.Bah Humbug :-S

Hannah and John are here :-D.I have lit the fire so it's all nice and cosy for them.It is miserable outside.Raining ,but not too heavy yet.
Chester has front row seat (by the fire)....and is snoring :-S
