Morning All,
A lovely morning here too!! OH is off with a carful to a match in Yorkshire after we have been to our fav carvery at lunchtime.
OH Frank, if you are free from 'cook' duties for a while, please come here and put your chef's hat on. I would love to be 'cooked for'. I must say though that since OH has retired he has a tendency to 'move things to new places' in the kitchen cupboards!! :-S
Oh Jane what a pain!! It does sound like it is coming from the radiator though........the tiniest occasional drip will accumulate. I'd dry it with a hairdryer, put a small plastic tray over it and see if it come back. It might only be happening when the heating is on and the water circulating. I can just imagine Chris's face when you told him. :-S
I hope all goes well for Carmen with her biopsy results William. A bit of extra pampering for her today I think. It is surprising how different F&C can be from different shops isn't it. Our favourite one has retired now, it was an italian chap who won many awards and the shop, equipment and open kitchen you could see into were always spotless. The people who have taken over are not a patch on him. :-S
Oh Mel, that was a narrow escape for the hedgehog.......imagine if you were barefoot too......ouch!!!
Well I have restarted my necklace for the THIRD time now. What with KNOTS and the thread BREAKING and making a MISTAKE in the pattern.........I might finish it today at last! I think being a bit under the weather and woolly headed with my cold hasn't helped. :-(
After leaving windows open, OH went one better yesterday and left the front door unlocked overnight!! :-0 I've told him if this carries on I'm getting a Doberman as a 'back up!!' lol. He thinks it is only me that does daft things like that, hasn't got used to getting older yet!! :-D
Hope Kim feels a bit better today and that Fiona's appointment leads to getting to the root of what's wrong.
Better get changed to go out now...........BBL.

Morning everyone,
We started off lovely and sunny, although i did notice a bit frost on the shed roof this morning it's now clouded over and have a line of washing out ,so that's more ironing for later ,just when you think your on top of it too :-S
May be we should try a bit of naturism ;-) might cut the washing and ironing down a bit :-D :-D :-D
William i doesn't sound very nice for Carmel having to have a biopsy on her tongue, hope all goes well with it and it helps her problem, what a shame about the Fish and Chips ,and i bet you were both hungry too.
Jane, that's so sad about little Williams mum , the poor girl has had no time with her baby , it really brings tears to your eyes .
Oh dear Frank!! you in the dog house with Ros , get her some more beads that will keep her sweet :-D :-D
Mel, funny thing you mentioning Hedge hogs , i was dreaming last night we had three come inside and they were digging in some soil in the floor in the front room !!! :-S i think it must have been Jane talking about the digging up of the garage floor that made me dream about floors !!

Mel I was just going to send you some sun ,but it is beginning to get a bit cloudy so I decided to hang on to what we have left :-D :-D :-D.So sorry ;-)
Ann I didn't think about drying that bit of wet .What a good idea.I will do that in a minute. I have done my bit of planting and made a start on the Normandy Pork ,but realised I didn't have any Chicken Stock .So I am just waiting for some to defrost and then I can get on with the rest of it.I had hoped to have it on the oven by now :-S. Never mind it has given me a little time to sit and have my coffee.

Afternoon all,
I will no doubt relent abou the cooking, I like to do it.
Had a brain storm this morning, decided to clean the COOKER. I put all the tins, shelves and cooker rings in thedishwasher. When they are ready I will scrub off the burnt wire trays, shelves and sides. Then we have a clean oven for a few weeks.
It was brilliant sunshine here earlier, like Jane it's clouded over. Everywhere is so wet. I don't think the lawns will get another cut at this rate.
Mandy. She ha 10 lots of beads on the way to her know. So i'm not buying anymore yet !!!. You should also lay off the wine, if you are dreaming of hedgehogs :-D :-D :-D
Mel, the weather focast isn't good for your part of the Country. So buy yourself a canoe, you might need it. !!!

Oh Jane that's so sad. The poor little mite will never know his mum.
Don't know what was wrong with this computer yesterday, just wouldn't connect to the internet, I was pulling plugs out and pushing them in and still no connection, gave up and switched off. Put it on today and hey presto it connected straight away. I hate computers :-P

What a shame Jane! Good for his mum not to suffer, but sad she couldn't spend more time with William. I can't imagine what it must be like to hold your baby, knowing you won't even see him walk, let alone grow up. Heartbreaking all round, but at least she must have been comforted to know there would be good people to take care of him. R.I.P. Jo. <3 <3

Maureen, computers are hard to fathom at times! I've learned not to try and do anything about problems till the next day! I find that one of the problems is the updates that mess things up.......not in your case though. At least it has come good now. :-D
When we came back from the carvery we saw a Buzzard sitting on top of a telegraph pole, rounded the corner past a clump of trees and there was another perched on another telegraph pole!! Typical, didn't have my camera and I never see them that close up. :-S
Mandy, I think it was you who asked about the pebble cactus flower...........they only last a couple of days at the most! I had another cactus once that only flowered at night.....by morning the flower had shrivelled. That pussycat would have lots of pigeons around here to catch.

Jane, That is such bad news. What will Janice do now,?? Will she take over the bringing up of William or will Jo's husband be able to manage with help. My, it make your health problems seem so insignificant. also the MINOR misshaps we have in life. Please pass on my love and condolences to the family.
Mel, I suppose where you live, you would need to drive quite away to go to a carvery. We use one a couple of miles away "TOBY" If you go mid afternoon, you get TWO for a Tenner.. It means you have a early breakfast , no luch and an early dinner.!!! :-D :-D :-D But you do get a good choice of meats. Gammon,Pork, Beef, Turkey and as much veg and puddings as you can eat. We never have room for a sweet. (AFTERS)
Have done my Homework, Whats her surname, I have put unknown at present.???
Stayed fine all day even though it seems damp and chilly.

Evening All What a sad day :-( I don't know yet Frank what the arrangements will be about William.I am guessing that he will be brought up with Michel(Janice's son and Dad to William),and Janice when she isn't working ,and also Rachel (Janice's daughter) the one with Amelia and Finn.I think there will probably be a big discussion tonight with Jo's sister and Jo's parents who have come down from London. I think everyone is a bit shell shocked at the moment as Jo's Death was so sudden.
I am just so thankful that Janice and her lot are such a close family and will all pull together to make sure William is loved and grows up a happy little boy. I am welling up now just thinking of all the upset and stress they are all going through at the moment. So think I will go now. Janice said she will ring me later so I might know more then.

Jane, I have been in deep thought about your sorrows all evening. I can't consentrate on the Tele, or the computer,So think I wqill go to bed and rread then try to get an early night.
I have been very frustrated this evening and had a right old bust up. The Bloo## Tele gets on my nerves. I just can't sit and watch any rubbish, where as Ros can.
Hope i'm in a better mood in the morning.
Good night all.

Oh dear Frank, bed sounds a good idea so you can cool off a bit. I'm sure there would be war here if we didn't have several tvs!! We watch quite a bit together but I would say we watch much more seperately these days with all the choice there is. That way keeps us both happy. :-D
Think I'll be off to bed too as OH will be very late as he will be detouring to drop people off. I think we are doing the arbour tomorrow so I expect there will be some 'blue air' if things don't go right. I asked if there were any instructions and he said he hadn't seen any.......not promising is it! lol. :-S

Good luck with your Arbour Ann :-D Do I put my ear plugs in now? ;-)
I am waiting for the gasman to come and look at the radiator and also a Plumber to see if we have a leak from the dishwasher :-S What is it with water and this house!!!
Washing in the machine ,but it doesn't look a drying day so it may end up in the tumble drier.
I didn't hear anymore from Janice last night. No doubt she will ring today.
Tea and Toast now. BBL
Frank are you a happier boy this morning??
