Evening all,

Good old Aunty Mel helping out again I see.

Ros has been out most of the day with Carolyn. She's bought more "KEW GARDENS" The garden centre must rub their hands together, when they see her coming through the doors :-D :-D :-D She will find somewhere to put them all.

I have had a quiet day, didn't get to sleep till after 3.00 am and was up by 7.30 am
Forced myself to stay awake, so hope I sleep tonight.

Why is it that when you lay down to relax and sleep, your brain jumps into gear. I thought of so many things, that has happened in my life, and as one goes another turns up.!!!

I tried to send all the photo's that Ros took last Friday/Saturday, but I don't think they went through.

Jan & Conrad have invited us up to Rutland this weekend, so it will be a nice break.

Pity you dont live nearer. Frank .Mocha would prefer you to the kennels..I hope you sleep better tonight..My mind will be going overtime with all these new names..

Morning All and Evening Kim,

A dull wet and windy day here so far. It looks really miserable out there today.

When we were sitting down to dinner last night oh said to me, we have the green man in the garden! Where asked I? up at the wall in the forsythia he said and when I looked he was right. I tried to get a good picture of it but have to download the camera yet. It was so far away and the light levels were down so they may not have come out. As I look up there this morning there is nothing like the green man so it must have all been due to the light at the time we saw him.

Have sent pics but they are a bit fuzzy. If I have missed anyone please let me know. My brain is still a bit scrambled from looking up yesterda!! :-S

I was sitting on the foot stool looking at my baby fish and oh came in and asked me for a cocktail stick. I got up and he said where are you going and I said to get a cocktail stick for you. He then lit his lighter and said good we can have a bar b q'd fish. Cheek. Not any of my babies are going on cocktail sticks.

Mel, Perhaps he thought they were "WHITE BAIT" I love them with a squeeze of lemon. Must find a rerstaurant, that do them as a starter. ;-) ;-) ;-) Making my mouth water now !!!!

Oh, what a night it was. In bed by 11.15 pm read till midnight. Ros came to bed at 1,15 am and I was still wide awake, by 2.45 I gave up and got up. Made a cup of tea and read my book. Ros got out to the loo at 5.00 am and made me go back to bed. I sleept till 8.30. Got up had shower and shave. couple of cups of tea. Bought me to life again. Now in shorts, searching through eBay.

I boughtr some "ICE CREAM" Tulip bulbs to go in the tubs on the front doorstep. Worth a look at, they are something different.

Been raining a lot here this morning, and looks like it's settled in for the day.

Pat will you PM me with your location. If Ros agrees we might be able to meet up, for us to have Mocha for your holidays.

Thanks for the photos Mel, what exactly is your green man?

Wouldn't that work out really well for all of you if Frank had Mocha, you would be able to go off on holiday Pat knowing he will be so loved and looked after, only one problem, Frank might not want to give him back.

Looks like the rain has set in here too, we could do with some of your weather Shirl.

What a bl****y morning.Just found out the Lady who has Chester is too ill and cannot take him.The girl who runs the business is going to be on holiday herself so she gave me a number of someone else who could help.No luck there as she is having her .holiday next week too :-S.
I think my neighbour hopefully will be able to have him from Saturday morning until Monday afternoon as James will be sleeping and working.Then it will be James and Jess (I think she is coming to stay) who will have to look after him.
I need to start getting in the holiday mood but I just can't.There is too much going on for me be able to think about going away.Tomorrow I will have people in stripping walls etc.On Friday someone will come and do a survey (the insurance people's contractors)of all the work that needs doing.I just feel like I need a weep :-S :-S

We know you're not an old misery guts Jane, it's enough to get anyone down. It really has dragged on and on. It'll do you good to get away for a week and relax.

I should get on and clean the kitchen now the ironing's done for this week, you wouldn't believe the dust it makes, plus the floor needs a good wash as one of the cats left me a 'present' this morning, a little bird. :-0

I just told Ros of your problem and she informs me that she is alergic to DOGS, that loose their hair. Thats why we had THREE POODLES. Otherwise I would say YES to you. I never even thought about it. That must be when I mention a Labrador puppy as a pet. She says NO NO NO.

What a horrible day, rain,rain, and more rain. Home it improves before your holiday.

Jane you are really goping to need that holiday but what a todo with poor Chester. Where did you say you were going?? You should come and stay with us and bring Chester with you. Also I must have sent the green man to your old email address. I shall send it again now.

Frank oh loves whitebait too and usually has that for a starter and I have a few. I had never eaten them till he made me try one.

White bait are little tiny sardines coated in crumbs and fried. They are the whole fish head guts and all.

Frank .I didn't really mean to ask you to have my old Chester :-D.You could ask Ros if you could have a Labradoodle or a Cockerpoo(not sure I have the right terminology)
but I think they have the hair that you can't be allergic to.

This was just the last straw for me today with Chester not having his place to go .
I have to admit I did have a few tears .......just frustration I think.
