Frank they told us that if a table was laid and had the sign on then it was booked. Their menu was'nt that good anyway. Not a lot of choice. Not like the pub in Sheepwash which is about 3 miles away from us which has a menu so long it takes you a week to read it and what a choice. They even do roasts all week which suits me fine as oh is not a roast dinner man. He loves prawns and crab and lobster and all things fishy really but I don't. |

Oh Yuck Yuck Yuck.I have just pulled up the flooring stuff from the .It just peeled off easily as it was so wet(not from our leak ) but from another leaky tap.It is the tap we have to turn on to use the hose in the garden. We have to keep a jug under it as it drips badly when turned on.I forgot to turn it off the other day and the jug was overflowing.Anyway when I pulled up the lino or whatever it is called there were MILLIONS of dead Chuggypigs ,plus plenty of live ones too.It was gross :-S :-S :-S |

Nothing worse than a big stink blowing your way is there :-S.We had it for years here.I think it was that recycling plant that caught fire(twice). Now it's gone the only smells we get is the Weetabi* factory(normally means rain is on the way) and it is not a bad smell. The other we get is when the farmer sprays the fields and that is not nice :-S |

Where I lived when I was first married there was a pig farm (now a garden centre)just down the road. It really ponged at times like you say Mandy......believe me it was nothing like plasticene! :-0 :-0 Even the local football team was called Niffy Rangers, something to do with an old custom of carrying a pig through the village I think. |
