Hope you get your tiles sorted out Jane, i'am hopeless at picking things out like that , when i get them home i start thinking do i really like them , good idea to bring a few home with you ,you can then lay them out on the floor and see how they look .
Nice to see you back Shirl, you still got all the heat !! send a little this way to heat our pool up will you , the garden should be easier for you then when its done ,you carn't do a good job with out making a mess ,thats what hubby always says :-D
Off in a while to take sister shopping , poor BIL is getting fed up just sitting about ,his four weeks on the antibiotics is nearly up ,then its six weeks without any and then a blood test to see if the infection has gone .
Where's our William ?? its been awhile since we last heard from him, i'am sure he will have plenty saga's to tell us about !!

Too hot Mandy !!!!!!Send some this way it's really blowy here, not sure I should start the patio it's been raining on and off. Like the sound of your ratatouille Ann might try that instead of my usual with jacket potato of tuna fish mixed with sweet corn and mayonaise. What colours are you going for Jane?

What cracking thunder we have had this afternoon.VERY loud :-S.It is so hot and sticky it's not very comfortable.
Well I only went to one tile place .I forgot to take my bit of wallpaper with me :-S.I really have no idea what I am looking for.Tomorrow I might go to Wic**. We have moved the Welsh dresser and all the cr** we seem to collect from the utility bit and have discovered a very wet patch where a pipe goes down into the floor.I wonder whether this is the culprit or just another one.??
I slept so badly last night.I woke at 12,2 ,3,4 ,4.30 and so on.Too many things whizzing around that brain of mine :-|So it won't be a late one tonight.
I bet Pat in now at her hotel in sunny Majorca soaking up the heat and enjoying a glass or two.Hope Mocha is alright at the Kennels.I was thinking about him last night missing his Mum and Dad :-(
No Kim today .Kim if you are just looking in I hope you are ok with your new Meds.
No news still from Madam Strop :-| :-|.Getting on for 2 weeks now.But I am determined I will not be the one to make contact even though it is doing my head in lol Just off to dish up James's dinner. He is working from home tonight in the Summerhouse. It is a bit crowded as we have chucked a lot of things in there .Old coats ,boots and shoes.umbrellas, dog food you name it it's out there :-DA big sort and chuck out will be done tomorrow.
Mandy did you have a nice day at the coast?

Has this gone back to normal now ....
Not surprising you're not sleeping well Jane with everything that's going on, the last thing you should be worrying about is Madam Strop. Pour yourself a large glass of wine and relax, tomorrow's another day.
Have cemented in the patio slabs and laid a tarpaulin over it all as it's bound to rain, haven't had any thunder but had a few heavy downpours earlier.
Just had a nice relaxing bath so am off to get my dinner and watch some tele, see you tomorrow <3 <3 <3

David, are they all old folk?
Well done Maureen getting your slabs done! I bet you are really pleased with yourself. You'll soon be sitting down there sunning yourself with a book and a glass....or two. :-D
I had an impulse moment this afternoon and drove to Moira to a craft fair at the village hall and had a mooch around and nearly bought a nice wood carving of a group of Owls. Then I carried on to Hob*ycraft at Tamworth. While I was in there there was an awful thunderstorm with torrential rain. I had to wait there for a bit of a lull before I dashed to the car with wet legs and my brolly up. As I drove towards home a car was stationary and slewed slightly in the busy road. I think it must have conked out and the poor chap had had to abandon it there and was stood nearby on the pavement for safety. It was still hammering down with rain and he was just in a tee shirt and shorts, absolutely drenched to the skin. :-S He was smiling though. I'm glad we keep umbrellas in our cars now!!. When I got home it was dry everywhere!
On the way back through Ashby- De- La - Zouche (quite well to do) all the main street shops each side of the long through road had huge Union Jack flags all leaning at just the same angle. It looked very impressive I must say and nicer than the usual skew whiff bunting.
Jane, Top*s Tiles that Mandy mentioned have a big selection and are very helpful. I must have had so many different samples of grey tiles when we did all through the kitchen, uti and conservatory. In each room they looked a different shade! :-S
I am sending you an EM for Fitz.

When I drove through Ashby-de-la-Zouche down the quite narrow through road today there were big Union Jack flags along the walls of the shops, both sides of the road and all leaning at the same angle. it looked most impressive and much better than skew whiff bunting. At Christmas they put trees all with white lights all along the length....very pretty.

Hello all,
I did type a post to submit on 1/8, but it kept going to the error message. I see they have changed the format again!!!!! I kept trying to read your posts, but gave up after the page was too wide.
Happy holiday Pat, who would be well and truly in Majorca by now. I hope little Mocha has settled into his lodgings for the week.
We have had two days of super weather, sitting around 22 degrees. I have been able to sit outside and the birds have been really noisy too. Signs of approaching spring, but we still have the August winds to get through.
A bit more news on the boy that died. There is camera footage that the leader of the youth group was up on the roof of that building with him fighting verbally. He posted a message that the boy had fallen to his death and had cleared the path to God for the rest of them. These people are seriously sick and dangerous. It could almost be murder. The police are firmly involved now and investigating all this. I don't know if he was pushed or being urged to jump, nevertheless it won't bring him back, but hopefully some of the others might be saved from the same fate.
I have been put on a new drug by the doctor. It has been trialled for people with autoimmune diseases, so I am praying that it will help me. I am currently wearing my sunnies as my eyes are so sore. Using an antibiotic cream and drops, but they are burning like mad. I could need new glasses, well overdue for a check up, but they are too tender at the moment.
Hope you are all well and so pleased to read there's been some news of Fiona. It has been such a long time since she was with us.
Off to watch the news now. Have a good day. 6.00 pm AEST

Hi everyone :-D :-D Did anyone miss me? The latest chaos was my old computer crashing, then when I got it going again, I couldn't get my internet!! As it was 6 years old, I forgave it, but I have bought a new one, so let's see where we go from there. This is the latest chaos in our lives, apart from the 'my den makeover', the new bed chaos, so at least we haven't been bore, althoug frustrtaed. Oh, there was also the 'mini-vac' chaos, but luckily it expired on us just before the guarantee ran out, so we got a new (uprated0 one, so that went well. Anyway, I'm off to do myself some bacon and mushrooms, well deserved I'm sure, even if not up to Frank's gourmet style.
Catch you all sonn. Bye now, have a nice day, go for GOLD . . .

HI i cannot believe I am on here after sitting for days and days with a coller round my neck. One more week to go. Thank goodness for the games in London really enjoyed the tennis and am hoping Andy Murrey does well in the singles final and the doubles today. Can he get gold.
I have had to sit with the laptop on my lap and had days when it did not work too well. Amazed at the change on here also I wondered what had happened last evening when I could not get on here and it had all changed.
I was keeping up with dear Kim on facebook a few times. Well we seem to have won a lot of gold now in the games and I have thought it wonderful being stuck in the house having it to watch.
Beryl did not come round after the bird in the bucket bag caper that the Australian guy deposited.
I told Kim the tennis was on with the aid of the red button because they showed swimming and events no tennis at first. April said nannie have you not got your telly then. Shermans been back for the holidays and now is a mathematical genius excuse the spelling. .
Matts managed to start getting up and taking some steps. So his little fingers are everywhere i am told.
I am so hoping i will be ok for my holiday with this drastic thing with the coller round my neck. My ho said I should have had one years ago. men
One women when I was in the shop said Oh you have a coller whats that for.silly women I said Oh I have turned into a dog. She said oh you must be barking mad. I would have appreciated the joke but the coller was so itchy and driving me bonkers and my poor car I missed my shooting off down the road when I got fed up. I found a large supply of funnies on the computor on one day i went on it but could sit for long. Thank you Frank and anyone else who included me unless they just came anyway.
Will try to get on again later .I will then read what you have all been up to.
Jane I hope you are ok after that upset with your sister.
I had one with my brother he came over and talked all evening about his latest vintage car and never once asked how my hubby was who had a dreadful turn the other day.I had to call the doctor he is ok now.
Best wishes to you all from SHEILA.
Kim thinking of you.

Thank god the page has gone back to normal, All they need to do now is change the backing colour and we will be back to normal. GENES if you are watching. WHAT DO YOU SAY !!!!
You all have been so busy with all your shopping and choirs. We haven't done anything. apart from me doing the back lawn yesterday lunchtime instead of going to the pub.
Glad to see you back William. Have you been receiving my emails ???
Jane, The young MADAM, must have lots of thoughts going through her head, wondering how she can approach you, to make amends for for bad temper.!!! Let her stew. :-( :-( :-(
Hope that isn't another leak you have found. Good luck with your tile shopping.
David, You do make me smile the way you post the misshaps that happen around you. I know it's not funny, but the way you put them is, Straight to the point !!!
No summer weather here or in London. Did you see those poor girls in the Marathon ??? Soaked to the skin,
Mandy, Glad you had a nice day at the coast.
Mel, You are always missed, that was a quick visit LOL LOL
Kim, I hope the new medicines do the trick for you, don't go doing to much WILL YOU. !!! PAT, you never offered to take me with you. SHAME ON YOU.

Afternoon All Kim I hope the police can do something about the man .He might have told Jacob to jump!! Especially seeing those words he said. The poor boy's family :-( :-(
We have another thunderstorm going on with a bit of lightening.Chester keeps dashing out into the garden everytime there is a thunderclap and barking his head off..He is really agitated :-S
Sheila ,I bet you are counting the days now until that collar comes off.It must be so uncomfortable for you. It wasn't my Sister that I had trouble with ,It was the couple from Dubai with Ethan.
Frank I will let her stew. She probably thinks she will let me stew too lolol
I love Ros's necklace .It is very pretty.Ann and her could set up shop together with all their creations :-D Ah William ,there you are.Good to see you again. We do all worry you know when someone is missing for a while.Sounds as you have had a bit of a time with one thing and another.
Mel I think we all guessed you were busy being out and about with your visitors.Where have you been and what have you been doing?.I don't think we heard about Boscastle.
Kim I hope your eyes soon aren't so sore. It's miserable isn't it.My cyst is getting smaller :-D.I think the rubbing on it with a cotton bud soaked in hot water seems to be doing the trick. The problem is can I get rid of it completely before it gets infected again.
I have been to Top* Tile*.I didn't realise we have one here in Kettering.I brought a couple home but am not sure lolI think I will have to go to one of the bigger stores.I wasn't impressed with Wic*** tiles.
I think the thunder might be coming to an end (thank goodness). There was supposed to be a Music Festival in Cranford today from 12 'till 8.But I have a feeling it has been cancelled. What a pity for everyone. It was sold out too.
I better get on with some things now.So BBL

What a difference a home crowd makes to these athletes, I keep channel hopping, watching the olympics while adverts are on the other side but lucky for me turned over at just the right time to see Mo Farah and Jess Ennis winning their golds. The work and dedication they put in is unbelievable. Typical of the football, lost out on penalties AGAIN.
I still have to cement inbetween the slabs, son told me to do it with a dry mix, it doesn't look perfect and I'm sure when he sees it he will just smile and shake his head but at least I've done it myself. I don't think I'll be giving up the day job though Jane.
I spotted Paul McCartney in the crowd with his daughter, she designed all the clothes for Team GB didn't she, was that his new wife next to him, she looks very young ;-)
