I never got to the hairdressers :-S.I got to town and bought a few bits in Sains**** then started to feel quite icky.So I rang from the car park to cancel and came straight home.Went to bed and had a bit of a sleep.Someone brought me a cup of tea but I didn't know and it went cold.Just got up now and I feel a lot different. So hopefully whatever it was has gone :-D

Afternoon folks,
Glad you feel better now Jane. It was best to cancel though as you don't know if you might have felt worse......no fun making small talk for ages while the colouring faff goes on when you just want to be at home. I think the sun fetched a bit of my colour out last week......costs a bomb to be done as well, but I don't think I could do my own lowlights. Kim at least your dark colour will fade a bit after a few washes. My hairdresser always wants to do darker shades in the summer so it will last longer.
Fiona, I hope as your sinuses clear the headaches go as well. Are your builders the same ones you had last time? Lets hope your weather settles for a bit so they can crack on with the work.
Mandy, your DIL is lucky to have got her new machine in and working that quickly. It must be a nightmare to be without one with little kiddies and all their clothes. I hope the dentist doesn't find anything!
Frank......you forgot your bucket and spade!! :-D lol. We have seperate cases and OH packs his own, but he always ends up with some of my stuff in his case!! We women are all the same.....take too much.
I popped into the city this morning to buy a small piece of jersey material off the market. Our class has finished now, but we are meeting the teacher at the bead shop at Coalville in the morning and are making narrow scarves with beads and silver rings and stuff on. Four of us are meeting at the place we usually go and travelling together. I bet we all end up buying a few extras while we are there!!
OH has gone to an information presentation to do with the probation service.......I've not seen him looking so smart since he was at work!!
It has rained here on and off all day, but OH managed to get the bean wigwam up so I might get out to plant them next. The pavement goes around 2 sides so I don't need to tread on the wet soil.
BBL...........

Ann if I feel back to normal tomorrow I shall be straight on that phone to the hairdresser lol .I am desperate :-S.I hummed and hawed whether I should go or not ,but I was worried what would happen if I was actually sick when I had colour on I do remember once at Nigel's old salon there was a power cut and all the clients with colour on (me included ) were bundled into cars and were taken to one of the Hairdressers home to have colours washed off and quickly dried .It was hilarious, all of us with black coverups on,towels wrapped around our heads driving through town lolol. She had a fantastic house :-D
James is fed and watered and is ready to go off to work.Tonight is his last night this week.I think he starts again on Monday night.Jess will have her dinner when James has gone and Chris and I will have ours sometime later. On Saturday afternoon James and Jess are going to a Falconry and will be able to have a go at holding the birds .I just reminded Jess to charge up her camera.I hope to see some good pics.
I do hope the weather isn't going to spoil this weekends celebrations.I know Hannah and John are going to a street party in Stoke Newington.(I may have already said that )sorry if I repeat myself. It's my age don't you know :-S :-D :-(

Been pouring with rain here ,managed to park close to the dentist so we didn't get too wet , we both had a little clean up and that's it for another six months :-D
Jane, glad your feeling a little better ,there's nothing worse than feeling sick, especially when your out !!
Ann, the spa is still in it's box !! if we do fill it ,it will have to be with buckets ,it doesn't hold that much water really ,it will have to be a gradual fill up over a couple of days . Will look forward to seeing the scarf when its finished , did you make any thing while you were away ?
Where's our Shirl?? hope she's ok. we haven't heard from her for a while .

Yes we do you silly old PERSON !! <3 <3 Where#s Hannah going ????
Let me give you a laugh. I decided to walk round to the doctor's to pick up the perscriptions. Just got down the road, in shorts and T Shirt, when the heavens opened, and I got soaked through. I thought well i'm wet now so why worry, and walked back with two bags of pills. Walked in doors like a drowned rat.
So heavy here now, very cloudy so I expect more showers later.
Got my glass's fixed, much better now !!!
Mel, The longer you leave rreading the posts, the longer it will take you to catch up.
Going to get a cold beer see you later.

I have just come on here to thank you for the things that appeared on my e mail. I did laugh Maureen at the Bp Bee and Frank thank you so much for the cat and the dolphins it really cheered me up and Jane for the cats I loved the one with the chicken .Dolphins are such lovely creatures.
I needed cheering up I went to Beryls and Donnie had eaten all her custard cream tarts. I refused one but she went to get one with our cup of tea. Beryl returned saying that big lanky lumps eaten them all. When Donnie came in Beryl slapped him and pushed him down on the setee. Donnie said what did you do that for. Beryl said for eating all my cakes. Donnie went to his ruck sack and got out a bag he had got some more from the cake shop. I said to Beryl well say sorry to Donnie and she said Oh shut up you what did you come for. I thought charming I was just about to tell her something not too polite when in walks Pandora her daughter she walked straight up to Donnie gave him a long lingering kiss on the lips and sat on his lap .Pandora said babe is it still on for tonight. Then added Donnie and me are going down the pup arnt we lucious lips. Beryl said over my dead body and Pandora said well that can be arranged. Donnie said Pan not tonight I have only just made it up with Bell for eating all the cakes. I had a job not to giggle.
I decided to leave not even saying goodbye .When I got outside the lady next door said Are they normal your friends they were outside doing the Charleston on the front last night. They scared my Tommy. Well I was fuming when I got in the car at the way Beryl spoke to me and decided I would not bother with her and had feelings of wanting to do her in when suddenly going along a country lane a lovely white dove flew across the windscreen and across the road I was surprised I did not hit it. I think seing a dove means peace and love does it not. Amazing. I have never seen a dove before.
On arriving home Michelle was going on about having to climb 99 steps up the escalator and had to go to London again. My ho had cooked soup and boiled it all over the cooker. Not a good day then I found the nice things on the web page
I had pre recorded a film with Leslie Howard about R.J Mitchell and his test pilot Geoffrey Crisp played by David Niven. Mitch designed the Spitfire and exhaused himself so much he had eight years to live if he took it easy but wanted to build it before the war with Germany and died after he did design the spitfire. It was a lovely old english black and white film. I always laugh when I see David Niven .I think I have told you before my husbands mother worked for David Niven in his flat he was in the army and in Edbaston Birmingham during the war called Mr Wright. My hos mum cleaned for him. Leslie wanted to go to the toilet saw the chamber pot in the bedroom and did what nature called and shoved it back under the bed.Of course he never found out what happened but his mum stopped going after to clean for Mr Wright. .
Well I do hope you all have a nice evening duty calls now my hubbies night out so I am in the shop all evening I have to be baby sitted by a big burly friend of my hos called Bert who will tell me over and over again he was picked to carry the olympic torch for his efforts at table tennis for youths in Birmingham but never got to do it they did not pick him. I think he told me three times this week bless him.

You're not dotty flower, that's just a smoke screen. But it you are under the weather Helen I'm sure you could find a hair dresser that would call and do your hair at home. Would cost a bit more, but you would expect that. Treat yourself.

Just posted and lost the BLOOD## lot.
I said, I can't believe it's the 1st of the month again, Where has the year gone.
I see David is still calling you HELEN Jane, I almost forgot that name !!!
Ros is busy, pressing and ironing everything before it goes in the case. The way things are looking the second case will be needed. If so, it will have to go between us on the back seat. ;-) ;-) ;-) Keep us apart. Can't think the last time I was in the back seat of a car with a girl :-D :-D :-D
It's a very still morning here, but so warm. doors and windows all open and hardly any breeze. Perfect for sitting out in.
I wanted to get the lawns done, but will leave it till Mon/Tues, as we will be away for eight days, and I don't want it too long when I get back. All the plants are ready for planting into pots, hanging baskets, but Ros is worried about leaving them, as they will dry out if the weather is warm. So we are leaving then in the trays, and the neighbour will pop round and waster the trays, otherwise he will have to go all round the garden doing them. He dosen't do his own so I don't think he would be happy going round doing ours !!!!
Another line of washing just going out.
Poor old Shelia, she has a lot to contend with with that pair.!!! But if they are happy, who can say anything !!!
We were talking last week about the Evening Telegraph/Chronicle and Echo going weekly. Nobody seems pleased with it. Who wants to read a weeks old news.???
What are you all upto today,???

Hi All Helen here lolol David it has been ages since I was called Helen :-D Booked my hair in for tomorrow morning 9.30.
Frank .It's always a worry with plants when you go away .If we lived a bit closer I would come and water them for you :-D I'm sure your neighbour will look after them for you.I doubt he would dare let them die .Just think of the tongue lashing he would get from you ;-) ;-) ;-)
I think it is very close today and so grey. Not too nice really.I need to finish off a load of ironing this afternoon so will grab a quick coffee and then make a start.

Just popping in to say goodnight. Been busy on fb, my club at Maroubra burned down tonight, so we have all been commiserating (sp). Many a good night there and then staggering home in high heels. I can't believe it is gone, was a huge blaze. :-(
Haven't caught up on your posts, had my friend Jenny here all afternoon. Lots of laughs, coffee and cakes.
Sheila your OH is a sticky beak. I do see what you mean, lol.
Hope everyone is well, not heard from Shirl for a while. Hope her back is not playing up again.
Cheers for now 11.49 pm EST

Have just come in from sitting in the garden, turning a bit fresh, with me only in my shorts. Ros is continueing to weed the boarders, I've told here to watch the weather. !!! (Don't think it's going anywhere !!!!) but it's a saying I think we all use. :-S :-S :-S
Neighbour has mowed his lawn this morning. Looks a right mess. He never "TRIMS" the edges and the grass is over a FOOT high. with dandelions all growing through. In the front garden, I go round with my spray, It kills off the long grass that grows into my flower bed. He has never mentioned that his grass is DEAD between our gardens.!!!! The gravel in his drive is full of weeds, and he just ignores them, hoping they will go away. LAZY BUGGE#. It's so annoying, when you take so much trouble to keep your garden looking nice. MOAN MOAN !!! Kim, How did the fire start??? was it the local kids or an accinent ??? I hope you are feeling allright, and YOUR problem isn't being to much trouble. Send her over to me I will sort her out for you. <3 <3
Pat, You must start leaving your purse at home, then you won't be able to buy anything, unless they let you have it on "TICK" Who remembers those days.????
Tea and cake time.
