Done all the patio today. I took all the plants off and cleaned them up and threw away anything that had died. It took all afternoon after oh had done the patio. Sun came out briefly so I popped the washing out for a blow as it has been very windy here today.
Just had probs with getting the bantams in as oh moved their houses onto the grass. They all ganged together where the houses had been so I had to go out with a slice of bread and through it towards their doorways. Got them all in in the end.
O I have just remembered I hav'nt shut the big girls in in all the cuffle!!! :-0 :-0 :-0 :-0

Evening and soon Goodnight All,
Been busy so I haven't caught up with the posts properly just yet.
No Jane, you aren't at all uncaring. I would have thought adding another baby will add more stress to the situation!! Like you say, it is up to them, but what they have done up to now doesn't seem to be working too well. I can hear your phone ringing away now!! :-S
Maureen, the bracelet isn't as heavy as you'd think as a lot of the beads are lightweight acrylic. I made it like that for that reason as I can't bear anything heavy! Are you all set with your outfit for the wedding now and are the drapes all done?
The fair has come to the next village and we drove by today...........never seen mud like it.......the field was just a furrowed quagmire!! I bet takings will be down.
I saw a fox out the front today at 5.00pm!! It was a poor scrawny looking thing and had a bare patch on it's side, mange I would think. Did anyone see the foxwatch programme? I was amazed when the vixen whose cubs died came back to her den after a few days and helped the vixen who had moved in there suckle her cubs!
Better go and sort my stuff for class tomorrow now. I had a FRANK moment today!!!! :-S I lost some beads I needed for tomorrow's class. Could I find them, must have gone through all my stuff about 6 times, thinking they HAD to be there. Eventually I realised I had left them in the bottom of my handbag after taking them with me to match them to something!! I need memory powders.
Night night, sleep tight......

Morning All and Evening Kim,
Ann I need some of those memory powders too. Dull again this morning but at least it is not raining......YET :-) :-)
Oh is waiting for a delivery of concrete mix and 12 bags of cement for the new pond. He decided he is going to bloke the sides because of all the tree roots coming through where he has dug the hole.

Morning Mel and all and Evening Kim
Well it was clear blue sky from 5am until just now ,and the clouds seem to be rolling in :-S. Lots to get on with this morning so I will catch up again this afternoon.
Ann I hope your neighbours dog doesn't get anywhere near where that poor fox goes as Mange can be picked up easily by dogs.I heard someone here the other week saying that there is Fox Mange round about here :-S :-S

Morning one and all,
Had another one of my nights last night. Got settled down about 11.30 pm tossed and turned and was still awake at 3.15 am Ros woke and said "you are a fidget, all you have done all night is HUFF AND PUFF" I did drop of till 7.00 am. Got up made tea and read yesterdays paper.
Ros is at the SEW AND SEW thing this morning. They have a party coming to look at the tapestry, and the "GIRLS" have lain on a lunch spread. She went off at 10.00 am. I have strict instructions, that she is expectiing a delivery of BEADS, So don't go anywhere till he has been. Now 11.45 am Still in dressing gown, waiting to get in the shower and have a shave. SODS LAW if I go in the shower the door bell will ring. So will wait a little longer, then i'm off, he will have to come back. !!!
Had a lot of rain again last night, but clear blue shy's at 7.00 am this morning. Clouds are building up again.
William, It's great to have the "girls" around, if they can't find someone, no one will :-D :-D :-D

Afternoon everyone,
Lovely day here, bright sunshine, windy but not at all cold i've been out in the garden this morning the weeds pull out nicely now after all the rain .
Had to make hubby an appointment with the nurse to have his blood pressure taken ,then an appointment with the doctor to get more tablets if he needs them. Then rang the dentist to get us both appointments for our check ups , Ruby our dentist has left and gone to Scotland ,so we are now seeing a lady called Alba !!
Ann, i think i need the memory powders too, if only i could remember where you buy them :-S :-S :-D What a lovely painting of the Hedgehog , i should think she will be very happy with it , i know i would :-)
My goodness Jane your going to be busy that's a lot to feed ,are you doing one of your roasts or a buffet help yourself ? you should be lucky with the weather on Sunday should be a dry day .
Hope you soon get rid of your headache Fiona , is it any thing to do with the new tablets your taking ?
Mel, i find hubby takes longer to do things now too, years ago he would think nothing of working in the evening after doing a days work , now the odd jobs have to wait until the weekend .
Clouds are now starting to build up ,some really black looking ones , better get my washing in i think .

Hello all,
Ready for the couch, I'm so tired. Just beat OH at Scrabble and he's not happy. ;-)
A cloudy start, but then sunny this afternoon. Got to about 25, but cooler from tomorrow. All quiet here, son is out at a "gig" and my daughter has gone to the movies and staying over at her friend's place.
Frank she wouldn't care if I dropped off the perch tomorrow, lol. I'll have to change my will. She was a lovely little girl; I can't think what happened. She's got issues with me because I'm ill and I can see through her nonsense. They don't like it when you are a few steps ahead haha.
I read a story in the paper about a couple of horses being slaughtered in Cornwall I think. How terrible!!! Did they catch anyone for it? And we saw Prince Charles and Camilla doing the weather report. Things didn't look great for Scotland Fiona ;-) I hope your headache fades very soon.
Haven't heard from Shirl for a few days. I left a message on fb for her.
I love foxes, most beautiful animals. They put baits down for them over here. I know they kill the native wildlife, but I still think it's cruel. That's life I guess.
Jane you are having a banquet!!!!!! Hope the weather is good for you if it is something outside. You never know who else might turn up ;-)
Off to watch some tv. Have a good afternoon. 11.13 pm EST

Make that 16 Jane ...lol You might be in luck this weekend, think it's going to be nice weather, it always seems to go better if you can get people out in the garden. I know what it's like, do you remember, I had about 13 for the roast lamb meal.
Don't despair Kim, I'm sure when your daughter has grown up a bit more you will get on like a house on fire. Me and my mum never got on when I lived at home, I was a very stroppy teenager, we didn't speak for about a year, when I left home it gradually improved and we were the best of friends eventually.
Drapes are all done Ann, just hope they fit okay. Somebody should ban me from E.Bay. Just out of curiosity I looked to see what Coast dresses they were selling, and blow me if I didn't see one I had tried on and really liked, it was the price £160 that put me off, it was selling for half price, brand new with labels still on. So I bought it. Now I have two dresses and don't know which one to wear and haven't bought any accessories yet. At least I have one for my son's wedding next year as well, that's if I don't start putting on weight.
I love your hedgehog, he has a lovely expression, is there no end to your talents :-D :-D :-D

All go here today .Not sure what I have actually got done but I've been on the go .Just waiting for the hall floor to dry now.So I thought I would pop in.
Numbers have now gone down for Sunday.Janice's daughter and little family can't come :-S :-S.So I think we are back to 9.Plus Frank ,Ros and Maureen of course.Frank I was hoping you could come and to the cooking :-D :-D
Kim ,no banquet lol.It will be a massive pot of Normandy Pork which I will cook tomorrow and then thicken with Creme Fraiche ,Mustard and cornflour on Sunday. That can then just simmer away on a low heat.New Potatoes or Rice,Carrots peas and pudd.
Your daughter probably underneath all her screaming and shouting the school problem etc is really worried about you KIm,and is scared stiff something will happen to you.Has she ever talked to anyone about things and why she acts up?BUT THERE WILL BE NO FALLING OF PERCHES. :-D ;-)
A bit of good news this end.........James got the job and starts on Monday :-D :-D :-D.Obviously he is going to have to use my car as his is a bit sus I think he said next week it is 10 till 5 (training) then I think 4 nights on then some time off and then so many days.No doubt I will actually find out more after Monday. But I will be with out my car :-( :-( :-( :-(.So my shopping habits are going to have to change unless I take my life in my hands and use his car :-S :-S(I think it will be ok to pop to Tes** and back ) if it broke down I wouldn't be far from home. The trouble is poor Janice will have to put up with going in it.Typical isn't it the first time she stays with me on her own ,my son nicks my car lolol
Maureen I think the weather looks ok for Sunday and quite warm .So as long as this wind has died down I hope to eat out side. 2 outfits now eh?.Do check the size label on the one you have just ordered.I bought a beautiful coat for James's girlfriend at Xmas and when it arrived although the ticket on the arm said size 8 the actual label in the coat said a 6.I nearly had a dicky fit.But it was fine.I think it had been labelled wrongly and it fitted fine.
I think the floor is dry now so will go and check .
I do hope Shirl is not poorly :-S.Maybe she just has pooter trouble
