Just off to watch Britains got talent. I was so glad the choir master that Mat had got through with his choir and that little dog was adorable the way he popped his head on Ashleys shoulder at the end. I want Pugsy like Simon did he is adorable .But the guy with girl singing was excellent he should slim down a bit though.

I have a nice Cottage Cheese salad with Ham for tea.

I saw my friend Beryl today she and Donnie were having a big row and I left fairly early. It seems she burnt a hole in his best jeans and when he told her about it she said well they end up in holes anyway. I had to turn away because it made me smile. Beryl tactful as ever.

Our friend the old man came today he had a tuna sandwich and a beer
with me he was very chatty and did not moan once !!!! Mel that was awful
when we upset him poor love. My husband is not one for apologising he thought he was helping the guy.

Poor Mocca with poorly ears jaspers never had that problem it is his teeth .He does not not have many.

What a lovely day we had today. Sunshine all day and felt very warm in the sun.

We went of to town this morning, Could hardly see an ENGLISHMAN. Every street cafe was packed with smoking Eastern Europeans. All spending our money, why can't they get themselves a JOB and stop sponging of our Benefits. Northampton is not a place to go and visit or shop. More empty shops than I have seen in many a year. Nobody wants to go there. It will be my last visit, until I have to.

Ros has been in the garden late afternoon, tieing up the Daffs, and general tidy round.

My left knee has given up on me this afternoon, feels like it wants to crack, but won't The disscomfort has now gone upto my hip and down to my ankle. This is the knee I had an operation on in 2003. That's all I need, two legs that don't want to work. :-( :-( :-( I have one stick, I hope I won't need two.

I feel cross with myself, I should have got the lawns done this afternoon, while I felt alright and the weather was dry. Tomorrow is suppose to be rain again.

I did a nice Lasagne tonight, with Salad. Enough for tomorrow with plenty to spare. !!!!

The pork I warmed up is put in gravy, and heated to boiling in the oven. It's always kept in the fridge, and in all the years I have never been upset by it.

Holby City is on Tele, so I am listening to Liverpool V Chelsea, and working on the computer. Liverpool 3 goals up and just missed a penalty. !!!! Lewis will not be a happy bunnie but Conrad will be overjoyed. :-D :-D :-D Good job Idon't get involved.

I looked at "CLUB WEMBLEY" they want £1,620.00 plus VAT to become a member. Which will entitles me to preference tickets, for up to 12 events a year. Plus you will have to pay for your tickets. NOT a poorman's sport anymore. I checked with West Ham, about tickets, SEASON TICKET HOLDERS ONLY, and they are between £38.00 (up in the GODS) to £100.00 plus. for better seats. Thank God for T.V.

Been up the tunnel and did'nt go shopping as it was such a nice day. Got more seeds sowed and put up some more canes for peas and the runners. Filled up the BIG water tank from the well and then watered the tunnel.My mouse nibbled potatoes are up and growing well. One of my tom plants had a fungus round the base of the stem so I pulled it up and got rid of it.

Pat I used to wash my dogs ears out with Savlon Solution diluted with a little water and did it with ear buds with a bit more cotton wool wrapped around them. That is what the vet did the first time I took her and he said I could do it each time she got the ear infection again or just do it every couple of weeks. Holly was an Alsatian and the jack russels had theirs done too.

Sheila did Jess get home safely? I was thinking about her travelling back. Good that you had your old man visit again and you spent sometime together and had lunch. It can be lonely for some people when they are left on their own.

Jane can't you get a form to fill in to help with dentist bills when your on job seekers?

Jane, James might be able to get payment or part payment of his dentist costs. Get him to have a look at his original JSA paperwork and it should tell him there. I think it may depend on what kind of Jobseekers he is getting ie Income based or Contribution based. I would think he would most likely be on Income based which means he is likely to get help. :-D It will save the bank of mum and dad! Best wishes for his interview tomorrow. It would be good if he could get something, do his confidence good as it can't help for a young man not to be working.

Dark miserable afternoon here now, Managed to trim round the lawns and stepping stones, but unable to cut grass. Far too damp. Now Peeing with rain.

Ros has gone to her quilting thingy this afternoon, taken her sewing machine (it weighs a TON) Someone will have to help her the other end to get it out and back in. !!!

Ive a regular dentist,see her at least once every six months,some times more often where necessary,like this moreing.

Yet today,once again I had to identify myself and tell her of whatever medication I'm on etc.


Sometimes she goes through the identifying the mouth again tooth by tooth,filling by filling.

Is this so she can charge more or to demonstrate efficiency?

I'm sure she would recognise me in Tesco.

My Dentist goes through the same thing each time too David.I think it a standard thing they all do now.Then I get a score out of a hundred on a bit of paper on the condition of all teeth and gums.I got 99 out of 100 last time :-D :-D

I have the Plumber here.He looked at the tap and said 'Oh dear it's one of those'.Made my heart sink lol.Anyway he is having to replace it as it couldn't be fixed.There is a lot of huffing and puffing going on in the kitchen :-S :-S

I did enjoy the film this morning 'The Descendants'Twas a bit teary at the end.Could I find my tissue???? Nope .So it had to be the good old sleeve(for the tears......not the nose) lol I just had to do very gentle ladylike sniffs :-D :-D

Been a nice day here so far. sunny, Daughter no 1 had a midwife appointment this morning so I had Sofia, then they went home for lunch and they are due back within the next half an hour so daughter can go to work.

Had a couple of hours in bed this afternoon, didn't get to sleep till after 1 last night, so I need a rest before it all starts again :-)lol

Dinner tonight is Ham ,eggs and Chips with Mushrooms and Peas.James doesn't eat eggs so I will give him an extra big serving of Mushrooms.

Left over Lasagne, with new potatoe's. I took two potions out of the dish for us tonight and put the rest on a plate for Tony and Val. next door.

I have has a lazy afternoon, Ros went out for 2.00 pm and I settled down with my book, and kept dozing off. Ros came home at 4.45 pm and I was still dozing, I'll never sleep tonight.!!!!

Jane, This weather is favoured by those rats, Have you got any water round by your House, i.e ditch on the otherside of the road. ???? I found one trapped under a rock by the pond, It looked like he got stuck and died. NOT NICE to find.

Yes it was the Kitchen sink tap....all sorted now.

James went for some admin job in Northampton.A company that find workers like cleaners,decorators,security etc .Weird hours though .Nights and then days ,some time from the place in Northampton and some from home.I am confused :-S :-S :-S.Not the type of work he really wants but he just needs to get something to get him into a workforce.
As for the Rat .Yes there is a ditch on the other side of the road from us plus the 'lake' next door.But why die on our drive?? Unless it had been killed by some animal and then dropped?
Remember the cat we found dead outside our front door!!!!!!! Why do they all come here to end their days :-S
