You did make me laugh Jane! I do that sometimes, wake myself up snoring!!! For a moment I always wonder what the noise is!! We've had another busy garden day. It's been a grand day, sunny and no wind, so I've spent QUITE a lot of time sunning myself and reading! I also managed to finish the crossword without looking up the clues on Google! OH, however, has been busily pulling weeds, sweeping up and generally being -busy! The workshop has had a good clear out too and is finally ready for action! I'm not allowed to help in there, only under strict supervision!!! sad that I always seem to put things in the wrong place, and am much more hindrance than help!! just can't seem to get the hang of it at all!!! Chicken for supper, in the Crock Pot, so again, not too much trouble! Have just poured a Brandy, so better pour one for OH as well!

You're as bad as me Liz. I only buy crossword books that have the answers at the back. .....lol

The material is a sort of satin and colour ivory. I will take some photos at the reception. I am looking forward to some photos of your garden Ann once you've got it all shipshape.

Can't believe some of you have had sunshine warm enough to sit out, haven't had a glimpse of it for days.

Just looking at the pictures of the BIG MOON on TV .I remember the night my Dad passed away there was a BIG MOON.Mum Janice and I left the hospital about 2am and as we got to our village we rounded a corner to be faced with this wonderful sight of the Massive Moon over the Bay.I had to stop the car and we just sat and looked at it for a while and thought that was a fitting sight to see just after saying our farewell to Dad.It was magical,and I know Janice and I will always remember that :-D

West Ham go into tomorrows 2nd leg 2 goals up, so will be down the PUB tomorrow afternoon to watch match.

Ros has been making ear rings this afternoon, also knitting like mad for the new Gt grandchild.

Have covered all the potato bags, as there is a talk of frost here, 2 below.

Roast pork, New Jersey Royal Potato's Fresh peas, carrots, Cauli (with cheese sauce) Parsnips and a lovely Yorkshire pudding, Could hardly get it out of the oven.

Weather a lot better today..But the sun is only just comming out lol.

Eldest son called in this morning for a cup of tea before heading back to France.He had been over to watch Liverpool play at wembley.He took his eldest son..He has gone back on the train then he flies back tomorrow for a meeting in Swindon for tues then off to germany..He is in Japan in a few weeks time and will not be at home for his youngest sons birthday..
I managed to pop out yesterday to get a card for him to take back...
Went for a walk along the canal today stopped off for lunch and a glass of wine.. on route before heading back..Mocha didnt eat breakfast didnt eat his lunch while out and didnt eat his tea Someimes we have to put his bowl right next to us and he will eat..He has just eaten a bowl and a half.

While walking this afternoon I fellover!! dont know how I managed to do that there was only a small hole on the path..I know I only had one glass of wine but how I fell well !! grazed my knee and also hurt my hand as I put it down I went over on my side...I didnt know whether to laugh or cry.lol

I felt quite shakey and teafull..mind you i have been feeling like this for the last week I think this cold etc has got me down. I will read all your posts later
.Im trying to change my friday morning to an afternoon at the charity shop finding it a bit of a struggle to get there for 9 am.Dont slee pvery well some nights either..

Frank you mention earrings! I am wearing some I found the other day that I bought for Hannah back in 2005 when I was in Canada.Still had the price tag on ,so I thought blow it I'll have them :-D :-D.She obviously didn't like them.What is the saying........Want not waste not?

Oh Pat ,Bl**dy holes in the ground !.They are there just to trip us up :-S.I hope you over the shock now,and that your hand and side aren't too painful.It does shake you up.I know when I went headfirst into the Punt at Cambridge some months ago really gave me the wobbles.Not at the time ,but a delayed reaction.Not nice :-S
Just watching the end of BGT.Chris let out a huge groan when he realised there are still several nights to go.He can't stand the programme.I love it.

Evening Kim and Morning everyone else.
Slow start for everyone this morning.I am in my dressing gown ,James is still in bed as is John .I think Hannah has just been in the shower.The only one really up and about is Chris and he is out with the dog.
I will have my shower and hairwash when I have finished this mug of tea :-D

When I looked out the window at 7.30 it was very misty ,but that has gone now and it is just cloudy.
I keep forgetting it is a BH today.I thought Chris was going to work lol

Morning and not a nice one today. Rained in the night and oh is so glad he got all the lawns done yesterday.

We are not doing anything special. I have 6 new strawberry plants to find a home for somewhere safe.

Yesterday I prepared my runner bean place in the tunnel and watered everything else. Have more lettuce to put in and dug my pit for the pumpkin and put a load of old horse exhaust in it and covered it with soil after a good soaking.

Sun is out here now but the skies are a bit grey.

The moon was nice last night too. The night before it was behind cloud for most of the time here but last night I stood out on the decking and it was shining down on me all golden and nice.

I love the moon and oh is always saying to me, if there is a good one, Have you seen your moon?

Sunny here but still chilly,

sleeping better with the pills BUT feel it's a little hard work to get up in the morning and it some times not easy to get motervated to do anything.
Will only take them on the nights that I have nothing important to do the next day.

Helping OH in back porch this morning he is painting and putting up a small bathroom cabinet for me which I am going to use as a key cupboard it's only a small one door cupboard, and it has a mirror on the front , means I can check my hair on the way out ;-) :-) Vanity!!!!!

Jane, I know how CHRIS feels, I sat huffing and puffing for two hours last night, Without all the advert breaks, It could have been over in a HOUR. I can't believe we have got it all BLoo#y week. I found the only two who were entertaining were the Choir and the DOG. Why all these Foreign Jonnies coming over here for BRITAIN'S GOT TALENT. ????? I'm getting worked up just thinking of the week ahead. I can see my little tele will be getting a lot of use, as will the computer. BAH HUMBUG.!!!!

I found a FRANK CHARLES BEDFORD on facebook yesterday from the USA. Had to make contact. His father and grandfather were the same name. FAME AT LAST !!!!

It looks like a wet horrible day again today, so out will come my book.

I have just been looking at the price of Tickets at Wembley for when West Ham go there on 18th MAY (Im sure they will) COST OF TICKETS £240.00 for two. SINGLE in nuetral part over £400.00. What do they think I am. Will look on West hams site.

The rain has just started here Frank It has been dry up till now.It is feeling quite nippy so the heating has gone back on now.
Hannah and I are going out to find a couple of pressies for Ethan when they come over from Dubai later this month.He will be 1 on the 21st and think they are staying here for a few days about the 23/24th

Going back to the TV I often ask Chris why he doesn't spend more time in the lounge with me in the evenings.His answer was "Do you really expect me to watch all that cr**" lol

Nice and bright here today ,the sun keeps peeping through and it seems much warmer ,have the washing on the line and its blowing well.

I like BGT , i thought the little dog was good , also liked the choir .

Not doing much today ,hubby's doing some under coating , we had to go and buy some new tiles for the window sills when hubby took the old window out some of the old tiles on the sill came away so we had to get new ones,we picked some mosaic tiles in a creamy beige colour, so thats another job that we hadn't bargained for !! oh well it will be nice when it's finished .

We're off out later ,just going into Weatherspoo*s for some thing to eat ,save me cooking later.

I keep meaning to have a look at the moon , i did look out a couple of nights ago and i had to look twice because in the Honeysuckle was a little tiny yellow glow !!! i have no idea what it was ,at first i wondered if it was a reflection in the glass ,but it wasn't , i stood quite a while just waiting to see if it moved !! what has yellowy eyes ? and is about at night.

I have a ham cooking in the oven (not sure why really) :-SI'm sure I'll find something to do with it in the week.

Tomorrow Hannah has a train ticket for 11am.But I think there may be a strike ,which will mean driving her to Northampton to get a train from there.
It will mean her having to buy a new ticket as it is a different train company :-S :-S.She will check in the morning just in case the trains are running.

It's been a horrible day here too. teeming rain, with 'intermittent' (but not much) sun. Now it is blowing as well as raining! Oh dear, will it NEVER stop! Heavens Frank you certainly need deep pockets to attend football! I too am glad that no-one in this house is a fan! Hope you are feeling better after your fall Pat - I had a nasty fall about a month ago and that made me feel really shaky and sick, so I do feel for you.

I just rang my old Primary School Teacher as it is her 93rd birthday today!!!.She might not be sharp on her pins ,but my goodness her mind is still pretty sharp :-D.She still remembers teaching me how to sew!!!!,and what a disaster that was :-S :-S.She even remembered the colour of a skirt I made lol
I obviously made an impression :-D :-D

I spoke to soon ,as we went out for our meal down came the rain!!
