I have a full rotator cuff tear, "a what?" I hear you say . Easy diagram here:

So another blasted operation coming up, however NOT with the Ortho/Trauma Surgical team that butchered my leg, at another hospital completely :-))

I am feeling hard done by TBH, I just knew this was going to be the diagnosis, yep of course it's not anything sinister. I have other lesions too according to the report so I'll have to be put down soon.

Also, TW will be pleased to hear, that will completely *ugger up me playing on Bejewelled whilst I am in a sling and recovering!

thank goodness they can op though and get your arm mobile and hopfully pain free again,,,,,wont be long on the mend, have a practic now at one finger typing for when you can only use one hand,}

It's the other shoulder..lol I do have pain the the left shoulder, that's why I went to the doctors in the first place. Four injections helped that but it's still somewhat painful. Then after four months I had it developed in the other shoulder! I can live with the left shoulder pain at the mo cos it's not my dominant arm.

I want to be able to hold my expected grandbaby!

I reckon it is all in the mind meself.......besides.....how can you get your leg in a sling?

If your hospital is anything like mine they won't know how to put a sling on.

gymnastics that *uggered my spine/neck

I should have read more books and slobbed out when I was at school!

No idea when it will be done, got the usual pre-op assessments after the consultation blah, blah so gawd knows.

Hello Sue. What a shame you've had to be put through so much in the first place, but glad there are signs of getting sorted out, at least a little bit hopefully.

As for bejewelled, I think I'm the last of your worries there, as you are mine, have you seen Claire's score????????? Both of us added together still can't beat it!

Jane, the first time I ever saw him indoors it was at the athletics thingy... all the schools in Cardiff would compete... I remember being rather taken with this lad who sort of just threw the javelin.... and it went a long way... then he was in the 100yds, and won that as well.... plus he was in other stuff, like shot put... and the triple jump was new then... he was tops in that... in fact, he was in just about everything.

I was in the javelin, high jump, long jump (I won that, much to my surprise) 4x4 relay and probably the egg and spoon race. ;¬)) He had eyes only for a tall theatrical and beautiful looking girl in his school....(I was in a different school ) who I later discovered was really lovely.... but still tall, and beautiful, and very theatrical... wonder what became of her?

A year later he was the first person I met at my new school, and he didn't even recognise me!!

Oh..... where was I? Yes, your ears... good thing you didn't take them off... you have lovely neat little ears!!

Daff ,I know I had a big plaster on my left ear for a while lol.I never threw the Javelin again !!.I think I put my shoulder out too !!
