They are doing some site maintenance, There was a notice on the site yesterday. I think it was for 4 hours. |

Wrote to them on Saturday about a problem with my tree. Got a reply this morning, suggesting a solution. It was what I had been trying to do for days, but thought I would give it another shot. |

If you go into the Ancestry Blog you will see the feedback from lots of disgruntled Ancestry users. Evidently the search option is still available but the trees have been quarantined pending resolution of a technical problem. They have mentioned several times that the trees are safe. I wonder what is the problem. Looks like it will be unavailable for a while. As for refunds etc I would not hold my breath but it must be frustrating for those on the two weeks free trial. |

On facebook yesterday Ancestry stated they had found a bug in the members trees and had to perform unscheduled maintenance which they apologised for. |
