Cobblers (scone dough or biscuits) are sometimes called upside down pies or tarts Helen

How to make Upside-Down Meat Pie
Crumble hamburger into 2 quart casserole, about 9 inches in diameter; add celery and onion.
Microwave uncovered until meat is firm, 5 to 6 minutes.
Stir to break up meat; drain.
Stir in soup, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, eggs and frozen peas.
Cover and microwave 5 minutes; stir.
Microwave uncovered until hot and bubbly, 3 minutes.
Mix biscuit mix, water and cheese.
Spoon onto hot meat mixture, spreading to cover.
Sprinkle with paprika.
Microwave uncovered 3 minutes; turn dish one quarter turn.
Microwave until top ping is no longer doughy, 2 to 3 minutes.
Spoon or invert onto serving plate and cut into wedges.

Sorry to go off at a tangent but this made me wonder what the difference between a shepherds pie and a cottage pie is?

(Not that i eat either except for Vegetarian versions maybe)

i used to think it was shepards without cheese and cottage pie with cheese as the cheese was the thatched roof, sorta thing lololololol

but yeah ts the use of different mince lol

aahh, that's probably why they look the same to me. lol the veggie version is probably quorn/soya so makes no difference. Thanks for that. :)
