I'm now starting to feel nervous about going into hospital for my op on Wednesday, Just hoping that the girls will cope and don't argue over everything and that hubby doesn't get moody with them.

Helen -

I'm sure that your family will have your welfare uppermost in their thoughts, and will 'behave'! Just make sure you get some pampering when you get home again. Good luck,

Helen
Dont worry about the family, mine coped surprizingly well, much better than i thought, when i had my hysterectomy 12yrs ago.
Just concentrate on your recovery-and let them do all the work.

Good luck for Wensday, Helen. I am expecting to have my bladder operated on on the 20th, if I have passed the preassessment. Of course we will both be fine.

Hi Helen, hope all goes well on Wednesday.

Remember to do what your body tells you after the op.
lots of rest, gentle walks and let someone else do the chores .

Its amazing what families can do(even the youngest members)

Thanks for all your kind thoughts, I've been pottering around today sorting things out trying to make things easier for afterwards. Also been sat here wishing my Mum was here, to give me a hug. Really miss her at the mo. suppose it's my hormones, maybe my body is realising it's gonna be going through a major change this week.
Well I'm going to sort my case out and make sure I've got everything i need. Catch you later.

Be kind to yourself Helen... Don't wear yourself out too much getting things ready, though I understand it's a good idea to ease things for afterwards.

Sorry to hear that you are so missing your Mum. What we'd give to be able to chat to them awhile eh? I'm sure you'll still feel her close as you prepare for Wednesday.

Will be thinking of you.

Helen, I'm sure everything will go well and once you've recovered you won't know yourself. You'll feel better than you have in a long while.

As for the girls and hubby? They'll be fine and if they're not then when you are well again bang their heads together and knock some sense into them:-))

I'll be thinking of you on Wednesday.

I will be thinking of you on Wednesday. You will be fine.

Believe it or not, when I got home from hospital 2 days after the operation, I found that hubby was poorly and I had to strip the bed and do the washing which I managed ok. You will probably be better than you expect to be.

Enjoy the rest in hospital before all the work starts again. lol
