I never thought Gordon Brown had much grey matter holding his ears apart.

Muffyxx Report 28 Apr 2010 21:59

Shame he didn't have the guts to say it to her face though isn't it.?

He said one thing at the leaders debate and publically to Mrs Duffy...

and quite another in private.

Says it all to me x

We all make mistakes. His was to leave the microphone switched on.
Whether or not he thought the lady was bigoted, he should not have said so, in my opinion.

I object to that comment Annina, what has Brown's nationality have do do with anything?

Besides Scotland does not have it's independence? Whilst we are talking on the subject, Scotland has had to put up with English rulers for years.......

Also I'm no political expert( far from it) but I wasn't under the impression that we voted for PMs but for a government and we therefore chose which mps we want. It's up to each party to decide on a leader.

I am afraid I do not like Mr Brown very much at all, but like 007, I find your reference to him in terms of his nationality offensive, too, Annina. Actually, that is also a rascist comment!

Annina,

I very much regret you said what you did which was completely out
of order and insulting to all of us born North of the Border.

Robert ....what we must remember is

Our goverment and its ways and choices are TOTALLY down to personal likes and dislikes ........

A little harsh Annina but your opinion

Hi Kemp,

Annina's "opinion" is however, insulting and offensive.

MrDaff Report 29 Apr 2010 19:13

Kemp, what we must remember is, it might be Annina's opinion, but it is overtly racist and therefore breaks the law. She is entitled to her opinion, of course, but in this instance it might have been more prudent to keep it to herself, or modify it slightly! I really don't like Mr Brown at all... but that has nothing whatever to do with his race.

I find it very offensive, too. I would really appreciate it if she were to remove it... not the post, just the racist comment.
