we were at Saltburn on Saturday

and could smell the coal dust long before we seen it lol

joy can you smell anything strange like sulphur or rotten eggs. whereever you are in the uk whats your weather like tonight? up here in northern scotland we have a gale with very strong 40mph winds, just a breeze lol!!!

one of our friends 30 miles away said she smelt something strange in the air although no dust has settled.

evening peeps, what happened earlier today? i commented on a thread and later when i came back, whoosh it had disappeard. did anyone go with it?yes its quiet here tonite. just heard another cloud might be heading our way from the volcano which could upset the plans to get the planes going again.i feel really sorry for anyone abroad who cant get back to the uk.

what do you do when after 2 weeks of holiday, your moneys just about run out and you have to find somewhere to stay and feed yourself and/or family.not everyone would have spare cash would they?it must be awful for them.

sending out positive thoughts to everyone stranded and hope all will be back to normal soon.
