The 2nd of my certs ordered on the 6th April despatch date 9th April

ARRIVED today

lol I can now prove that I am married to my husband !

Oh heavens what chance do I have. Forgotten when I ordered my certificates. The ones which are not going to be what I am looking for....... At least early April. And they have to travel all the way out to the colonies.

point on the screen the cursor will not go down any futher and the screen bounces up and down while you are typing. You then have to scroll down and see what you have written because it is below the bottom border of the screen. Sorry I'm off topic I know but it is a very interesting phenonemon.

Don´t think they are on strike in Menorca because I had a Telefonica bill yesterday which was a bit unexpected as I cancelled my contract for ADSL on 27th January (and my bank direct debit at the same time). They keep threatening to cut off my broadband connection if I don´t pay up,despite letters telling them that they already have!
Will wait with bated breath to see if my pension statement arrives from England today. It should have been here on Tuesday.

mine came today, i ordered on the 6 th of April with a despatch date of the 12th april , so they are taking at the moment 17 days from their despatch date.

Great joy and smiles when i saw the envelope, which turned to despair and grumpy face when i opened it.

It was correct for the one i ordered, but not my family, another £9-00 blown away

Not the fact that the certs have not arrived yet but the fact there is NO post because the Spanish postal workers are on strike

PatB yes the back log was the price rise for me it's the air ban, although mine should have been here before that r*ddy volcano lol ...and no still no sign

Hi All,
May I add, that I rang the GRO earlier today as my cert was despatch date 14th April, website says an additional 5 - 10 working day delay, which in my case has passed....so I spoke to a lovely lady who said to allow AT LEAST another two weeks to pass before expecting to recieve my cert.! So, for overseas customers I imagine that this will be longer?

I rang them yesterday coz I had one which hadnt got here ......despatch date 29th March .....

They said

we are behind coz of the cost ...but we are now behind coz of a back log and again behind coz people aint getting them by their despatch date

THEN........the Royal Mail have said they have bags oof mail still waiting coz of the volcano ash and the flights being down!!!!!

lol Tricia I wish mine were only 4 days late ...maybe I don't if I have to wait this long. Okay allowing for 6days airstrike and 5 days backlog that still puts mine LATE.
The money is already out of my bank was out the day I ordered lol

i thought i was the only one waiting mines late by 4 days,funny how when you enquire it can take up to 10 days for reply, dosnt take that long to take your money out of bank though does it grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
